15/05/2026: This place is like the Gestapo, checking passports, ID cards, basically a place where, in addition to the food being terrible, they use excessive control. In short, a place I'll never see again! I urge my friends to do the same.

17/08/2025: We spent about 100 euros for two people. Invited by friends, we were quite disappointed with the quality and service, especially considering the prices. Let me explain: two beef fillets were 36 euros each, and two desserts were 15 euros each—nothing fancy. Yes, it was good, but far too expensive for what you get. I'm being honest, but as you can see in the photo, it was a bit messy and nowhere near as good as fine dining for the same price.

14/08/2025: A wonderful discovery thanks to a gift certificate! We chose the four-course menu and everything was delicious, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. The place is calm and pleasant. Special mention to the service: Sandra and the young waiter were lovely, attentive, and very professional. We highly recommend it and can't wait to discover the new location!

A very welcoming place, far from the touristy galette restaurants. The staff, the quality of the food... everything is there for a great time.

16/05/2026: We had dinner at Le Lift in Orléans, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a superb view of the Loire River. The service was impeccable: the servers were perfectly knowledgeable about what they were serving, quick, and attentive. We didn't have to wait at all, despite the restaurant being almost full. The sommelier was fantastic and recommended an excellent wine. As for the food, it was simply excellent. The flavors were perfectly balanced and subtly combined. For my starter, I chose the foie gras, while my partner opted for the egg. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The main course was served in two courses, with a cold preparation followed by a hot one surrounding the veal. The cooking was perfect: pink for my partner and medium for me. The dessert, combining chocolate, raspberry, and mint, literally melted in the mouth. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. A must-try restaurant in Orléans, not to be missed.

14/05/2026: The outdoor setting is delightful, and the restaurant's decor is original. The service was excellent. I can't comment on the food as it was a large group and the set menu wasn't necessarily to my taste. However, I will definitely return as soon as I'm back in Orléans for a non-business trip.

15/07/2026: As a fairly regular customer, I'm very unhappy today. I usually stop here to buy my takeaway lunch between jobs. I came at 2:30/2:45 pm this Wednesday, July 15th. When I arrived, there was no one there, so I headed towards the savory display with my colleague to make my selection. A customer arrived after us, and the cashier served him before even acknowledging our "hello." After taking the time to chat with her customer, she finally came over to me (my colleague, tired of waiting, had decided not to eat). I pointed out that we had been there first and that she had therefore lost a sale. She replied that the till was in the center and therefore thought it was normal not to have served us when we arrived. No apology, nothing. Well, in the future, I'll get my lunch elsewhere. The cashier has absolutely no business sense and no concept of customer service. Avoid at all costs.

13/07/2026: Excellent experience at Le Chardon d'Écosse. The dishes were delicious (special mention to the vegetables and the soft cake, which were excellent), the waiter was accommodating. I was expecting a more canteen-like atmosphere with closely spaced tables, but the reality was quite different: a well-thought-out ambiance, tables sufficiently spaced, beautiful decor, and as soon as the evening ended (10:30 pm), a DJ arrived and created a very pleasant musical atmosphere! Be aware, the service is very slow, but in our case, it didn't bother us!

12/07/2026: We had dinner at the Hotel de la Plage restaurant in the evening. Absolutely no complaints; the service was impeccable, with a dynamic, friendly, and attentive team. The dishes were refined and delicious. Definitely worth a try!

11/07/2026: Very good restaurant! Very well located, pleasant atmosphere, but a bit busy for the area (it's the only restaurant there), and the locals eat there, which adds to its charm. Excellent welcome and service! The ribeye steak was good but very well-done on the outside and not cooked to our liking on the inside, and the charcuterie board wasn't very varied and was very salty. The children's menu isn't really suitable. We recommend it!
