15/09/2025: It can be nice if you're not very hungry and have a fat wallet. The portions are tiny, the prices high, and the quality varies greatly. I'm shocked by the potato fritters, which are completely ruined and sold for €2.50 each. For a potato fritter. I repeat, €2.50 per potato fritter. Indecent. As for the rest, the drinks are decent and the waitresses are pleasant, which adds to the bill. P.S.: Opposite is a photo of the refuge board, which costs €25. Three potato fritters, not grated and half-mashed inside, four slices of sausage and cold cuts (good nonetheless), a bowl of melted Reblochon cheese (you'll have to ask five times for bread to eat it), and that's it. You can't say you didn't know.

And what about that little coffee we enjoyed early in the morning on the terrace?! Special mention for the warm welcome; the staff is lovely!

19/12/2025: Very disappointed with my visit yesterday! The service was far too slow. I arrived at 12:15 PM and wasn't served until 1:40 PM. In the meantime, I even had to ask to order a drink... The main course finally arrived, but the meat was cold! And as for the coffee, the waiter seemed to have trouble taking my order... He wasn't particularly pleasant either. And to top it all off, the state of the restrooms left much to be desired!

20/12/2025: It's awful, the restaurant is always closed. I've been twice now and the door is locked, and they just gesture at you to leave. They're truly unbearable. I think a place like this should be closed so that the space can be used by more pleasant businesses. I don't care that I can't eat there; what bothers me is that I made the trip for nothing.

25/01/2026: What a pleasure to return to Sonya and Caroline's! The cuisine is authentic, flavorful, and refined in their welcoming restaurant at the foot of the slopes. Here, the Jura region delights your taste buds. We enjoyed a morel mushroom tart paired with an organic Savagnin wine, as recommended by Caroline. We also savored Arctic char on creamy risotto and the famous Paris-Lamoura for dessert. A lovely cocktail menu and fabulous absinthes await discovery. Of course, this comes at a price… the price of prioritizing high-quality local products, passion, and expertise! Thank you, ladies, for treating us once again, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! 😊

17/01/2026: I wasn't lucky with my choice; the Arctic char fillet was undercooked and tasteless, and the risotto had quite a bit of cream and a surprise ingredient (lentils) that wasn't mentioned on the menu. The dessert was okay.

30/09/2025: A superb discovery, an unusual and charming place. Cathy and Yann were kind and attentive. We had a wonderful weekend.

20/09/2025: We had our wedding there in August 2025. The venue has a lot of charm: a small courtyard with a well, a pretty garden on the edge of the Trieux River, which was an ideal setting for the secular ceremony. The rooms (approximately 35 seats) are comfortable, although the wedding room wasn't specially designed. The venue is also large and generally elegant, perfect for dinner and dancing. However, plan for a bit of decoration and keep the number of restrooms limited. The owner's cuisine is exquisite (special mention for the strawberry cake), and having this offer included in the estate makes planning much easier. In short, Kermodest was a dream setting, and our guests were also delighted. For future brides and grooms: be sure to inquire about the estate's rules to keep in mind (opening hours of the venue the day before, end time of the evening, pool opening conditions). We had to work around them, but the end result was perfect. We recommend this place which was quite simply the most beautiful place seen during our research in the Côtes d'Armor.
