26/03/2026: Really disappointing won't come back again. Steak tough. Red wine served cold. Had to ask for water 3 times. Sides of salad and chips to share very small.

13/06/2026: We stumbled upon Le Raspail while exploring Paris and it turned out to be exactly the Parisian experience we had been hoping to find. Located on a lively corner that felt busy but not overwhelming, it was the perfect spot to enjoy brunch and coffee on a sunny Saturday morning. We loved sitting outside watching locals stroll by with fresh baguettes under their arms, cyclists with baskets full of vegetables, and the everyday rhythm of Paris unfold around us. The avocado toast with smoked salmon was outstanding—honestly, the best smoked salmon I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We also shared the club sandwich with a soft-boiled egg and French fries. As Canadians, we couldn’t help but laugh because the fries reminded us of Swiss Chalet fries back home—a true Canadian delicacy! Comforting, crispy, and perfectly done. A special thank you to Theo, who was warm, welcoming, and provided wonderful service throughout our visit. The restaurant also offers free Wi-Fi, which was a nice bonus. If you’re looking for an authentic Parisian café experience, Le Raspail is a gem. We will definitely be back!

06/05/2026: A must-visit in Pau. It embodies the true spirit of a bistro: generous portions and impeccable service. Special mention goes to the bavette steak, perfectly prepared from start to finish. The value for money is exceptional (€16 for the set menu of main course and dessert), and you can tell the ingredients are treated with respect. A perfect experience from beginning to end.

31/05/2026: This winter garden was a very pleasant surprise, mainly due to the lovely garden itself, the generous and well-prepared dishes, and the excellent value for money. The staff's friendliness contributed to a wonderful experience. Thank you to the whole team.

28/05/2026: The dishes, from appetizer to dessert, were truly excellent! The atmosphere is pleasant. One small negative point: the waiter (an elderly gentleman) came out of the restroom without washing his hands. A shame, otherwise it was perfect.

24/06/2026: Thank you for my daughter who came home without ordering anything and was given a bottle of cold water in the sweltering heat. She was coming from her military service day, which was cut short by the government at noon, when the bus didn't even stop at the Saint Jean Grâce stop, leaving her stuck in 40-degree heat all day.

02/07/2026: A very bad experience this lunchtime. The person at the bar was cold, haughty, and particularly rude. I was interrupted before I could even finish my sentence, then abruptly asked to leave. Regardless of the circumstances, a minimum of politeness and respect towards people entering an establishment should be the norm. I left with a very poor impression of the service.

04/06/2026: We booked a restaurant at 12:30. Received a confirmation. We were late for 20 min (driving from another country). The restaurant and the hotel were completely closed.

10/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel, and it was a really great experience right next to the festival. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and clean, and the managers are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

04/04/2026: Nice restaurant, but the portion of the porcini mushroom fondue wasn't very generous… the charcuterie portion was very small and there were hardly any porcini mushrooms. Otherwise, the ribeye steak was good. Friendly staff. Okay for an evening out.

22/03/2026: A must-try! I think this restaurant is one of the places you absolutely shouldn't miss if you're visiting the Allos mountains. The first thing that will strike you when you walk through the doors of this restaurant is the warm welcome you receive. Then you'll discover cuisine that rivals the finest chefs in my region, all at a very reasonable price. It was an incredible surprise to find this place, which may not look like much at first glance, but is definitely worth a visit.

31/05/2026: From the outside, this place doesn't look like much. Inside, what a surprise! A warm and friendly welcome from the hostess. A special Mother's Day menu. Many thoughtful touches throughout the meal were much appreciated. The delicious dishes were served with great care. My only regret was the slightly high bill. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/06/2026: A meal with friends, so a large table; the service was relatively quick and pleasant, the food was very good, the setting very nice, we'll definitely be back.

02/06/2026: The food was generally good, especially the escalope, which I found very well done. Unfortunately, the rest was very disappointing. When we asked for a glass of Château La Coste, we were told rather condescendingly that this wine wasn't served by the glass, on the grounds that Château La Coste didn't sell boxed wine. A surprising explanation, to say the least, especially since in many restaurants, certain wines are served by the glass directly from a bottle, not a box. After the main courses, we were completely forgotten about dessert. After a long wait, we had to flag down the staff ourselves. We were then told, "Oh yes, sorry, we forgot about you." At that point, we simply asked for water and gave up on dessert. This water was never brought to us. Even when it came to paying the bill, the problems continued. The bill had to be rewritten three times, as each time it included desserts and coffees we hadn't ordered or consumed. Despite this series of errors, we received no gesture of goodwill, not even a simple acknowledgment to compensate for the inconveniences we experienced throughout the meal. We felt like we were bothering them simply by asking for a correct bill. In short: decent food, but disappointing service. I won't be going back.
