08/12/2025: Unfriendly waitress, nice owner, average food, bad tiramisu. The owner needs to rethink his business. I came a few years ago and was delighted. I no longer recommend this establishment in its current state.

27/12/2025: A very pretty estate, lovely room. An excellent and generous breakfast. A warm welcome and, above all, Michelle's treatments were of very high quality. We were less keen on the restaurant in the evening and the location, even though the canal bridge is magnificent.

05/12/2025: This could have been a regular spot, even a place I'd been eyeing for a while, and we were curious to try it. We ordered our drinks and had to pay as soon as they were placed on the table. This sets the tone for the lack of customer service, which is clearly a fundamental problem in this establishment. It's obviously not run by people who intend to examine their communication methods (just go there and you'll understand, or read the reviews and their responses. Positive review: you're acceptable, negative review: even if you're right, you're wrong). So we paid, and surprise, surprise, the minimum amount accepted for a credit card payment is €10. Clever. So we had a good evening, and in Macron's France, as they say, as long as they don't ask us, "Would you like something else?" (which, in waiter lingo, means "You should order more"), well, we don't need to order anything else. Instead, the evening ended with the bouncer yelling at us because we didn't have a glass on the table and hadn't "ordered anything." Perhaps you should consider calmly asking us to order something before resorting to that? (And I'm sure you'll come up with an excuse in response.) The bouncer, followed by the waitress, did the same to get us to leave quickly so they could make their evening's profits. It didn't stop there. I left for a few seconds, and when I came back, I saw the bouncer, again followed by the waitress, yelling at another couple of customers who had been perfectly calm. All this in front of their entire clientele. You probably think it's normal to yell at people trying to enjoy their evening instead of applying basic rules of communication like, again, "You should order something because..." (And say this CALMLY, FOR GOODNESS SAKE) or "Would you like something else?" But I assure you, subjecting someone to a ritual of humiliation is neither typical nor appreciated by your esteemed former clientele. Also, for what it's worth, the wine was disgusting. But compared to everything else, we could have easily overlooked it. Cheers

18/01/2026: A very warm welcome, the kindness of the entire team, and above all, extremely generous portions. If you're looking for a delicious couscous or an excellent tagine, this is the place to go, perhaps with a mint tea to finish. Plus, there's easy parking nearby or in the lot behind.

Always excellent, especially the daily specials, and the staff is very attentive, particularly Fred the waiter who is always so kind to my parents (and me), who are regulars. It's lovely to see the wood. A very pleasant and welcoming "home-like" atmosphere. Thank you, Fred, for my butter and sugar crepe with lots of butter and lots of sugar...!!!!! Yum!

14/01/2026: I've parked here more than once, everything is quiet and without incident, there are plenty of places, a toilet and shower at the gas station, a paid shower, and a water park nearby.

09/11/2025: A pleasant restaurant for lunch. A starter and main course of the day are available as part of a set menu for 20 euros. The cassoulet was slightly overcooked, but still tasty. It gets busy, so reservations are recommended.

01/02/2026: Unfriendly staff and very dirty tables. Cardboard cutlery, unsuitable for the pastries ordered.

01/02/2026: As usual, the pastries are good and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately, that's about it for the positives. The place is very poorly organized; there's no queue to order, just a crowd. You can't see the drinks menu because there's a light fixture in front of it, nor can you see the pastries because they're at the order counter where everyone is waiting. Our order was served with small wooden spoons, which is a shame for eating good pastries, but at least the cakes were intact. Unlike the person next to us, whose cakes were practically thrown at them (not just hastily, no, they were literally flung aside). The bad experience continued; the floor and tables in the dining area were dirty.

10/01/2026: Of the 4 duck breasts ordered, 3 were real pieces of meat and the 4th was already cut up with a lot of fat... Very disappointed, I do not recommend this restaurant.

08/11/2025: A very warm welcome, excellent service; there were 10 of us and a baby. The dishes were delicious and generous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

16/10/2025: We arrived by chance at this place, which welcomes many bikers. It has a beautiful terrace with soft music. The menu is promising, but due to lack of time, we settled for tea, coffee, apple pie, and caramel pie. So good that we had more!! Thanks to the owner who not only provides the service herself, but also prefers payment in CASH... especially for small amounts.

22/09/2025: Very disappointed with the lodges. We booked a two-night weekend, with dinner, lunch, and lunch all included in the stay. We left in the night, it was so hot! Impossible to sleep, no air conditioning! An average meal on Friday night. We arrived on Friday and left in the night, shameful! Expensive on weekends!! In short, a place to avoid in the summer, in any case.
