29/01/2026: 5 stars without hesitation!! Superb welcome (unlike the two restaurants across the street!!). Generous and delicious dishes, attentive service, sunny veranda with views of the Jura mountains on one side and the Alps on the other! Exceptional!

23/01/2026: Very friendly and warm welcome, the Savoyard burger and the croziflette are excellent, as is the tarte tatin, and superb view from the veranda!

01/12/2025: The restaurant offers a truly pleasant setting: original interior decor with a huge suspended wine bottle, and above all, a terrace situated in the middle of a typical Provençal square, making for a very enjoyable experience. The service is standard, efficient without being particularly remarkable. The dishes are generally good, but some details could be improved: frozen fries, a rather sparse salad and daily special, and several diners received meat with sinew, while others received an excellent cut. It's acceptable, but not exceptional. The prices are quite high, but the ambiance and decor add real value to the experience. Despite these shortcomings, I would gladly return to enjoy the setting and a simple but pleasant meal again.

21/12/2025: The establishment is lovely, however, the welcome leaves much to be desired. We'd barely arrived when they wanted to seat us, even though not everyone had arrived yet. Some wanted to have drinks at the bar while they waited, but we were being rushed. We were told we could have an aperitif at our table, but as soon as we sat down, they brought us a menu to choose our main course. It was a large table, so then they served us our aperitif, followed by our main course, which was practically cold. We didn't say anything, we didn't want to be a pain. Then there was dessert, but no menu. So if you don't like dessert, you're out of luck. The ice cream and chocolate were barely drinkable. For some, you had to ask for dessert because they'd been forgotten; they hadn't been asked. You order sparkling wine, and they forget the excuse: "We didn't understand, we thought you were talking amongst yourselves." And finally, when it came time to pay, there was a difference of about €6, and they practically called us thieves and dishonest. At €7 a Malibu, I wonder who's stealing whom. To top it all off, no goodwill gesture whatsoever. They practically threw us out, shoving one of our own out, saying, "Don't come back, leave! I want to close my restaurant!" It's deplorable. Spending €500 in a restaurant only to be treated like this is shameful. One last thing: come with clean shoes, like at school when it rains you wear slippers, well here you'll need overshoes! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 My advice: avoid this establishment.

29/12/2025: As regular customers of the pastry shop for years, we ordered two Yule logs for Christmas, which are usually excellent: the Ardèche and the Purple. The Ardèche, with its new recipe, was a major disappointment. Both logs share the same base and construction, presumably for ease of preparation and assembly during the holiday season. The chestnut cream was practically nonexistent, and the blackcurrant insert overpowered all other flavors. There were also very few chestnut pieces. It would have been better to replace the vanilla mousse with chestnut mousse to make it a true Ardèche. This was a shame, given the price of the logs and Nelson's reputation, as the chestnut flavor was simply not there. On the other hand, the Purple was excellent, with a lovely crunchy element. We particularly enjoyed the blueberry mirror glaze, which paired beautifully with the lemon. The tea room is very pleasant and the individual pastries are very successful, especially the revisited Paris-Brest.

27/10/2025: I only had a coffee. Too bad, I wanted to eat something, but there was nothing but chocolate bars.

04/10/2025: Old-fashioned woodwork charm. A well-located tobacco bar facing the plain, you're sure to find parking nearby.

26/01/2026: Disgraceful! I feel like they put their hands in my pocket and robbed my money with a smile on their face. It started with a giddy waiter who appeared not to understand english very well. The first issue was that he brought the wrong bottle of wine. Ok, no big deal, he changed it. We all ordered Chateaubriand. So why did two of the dishes look like sirloin steaks?? The two of us that did get Chateaubriand, which we asked for medium, were given blue beef. It was basically mooing on the plate. My friend persevered and tried to eat his. I sent mine back and they brought me back a sirloin steak?? Also, i was given a pepper sauce instead of bernaise. When they did bring the bernaise, it was solid?? and stone cold?? To add insult to injury, when we got the bill, they tried to charge us for 5 dinners. There were 4 of us!! Instead of compensating us for such a disaster of a meal, they tried to overcharge.

02/12/2024: Des galettes correctes, mais sans plus. Ça manque d’authenticité et de vérité. Les crêpes sont également correctes. Le sourire de la serveuse aide à faire passer le tout

17/11/2024: Déception totale. Les galettes sont servies "blanches" autrement dit pas cuites et fadasses, peu de garniture, jambon Serrano pratiquement inexistant, champignons non égouttés, bref, aucun goût. Idem pour la crêpe, on avait le sentiment de manger de la pâte à crêpes épaisse, non cuite. Cette fois, nous l'avons renvoyée en cuisine. Je pense que le crêpier ne connaît rien à ce métier, et qu'il faut soit le former, soit le changer..... Nous ne reviendrons pas ☹️

13/12/2025: A pretty good restaurant overall. The waiter was welcoming, friendly, warm, and energetic. The food was decent, and the portions were adequate. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant was a bit cold, temperature-wise, and they forgot the aperitifs... Otherwise, everything was very good.

23/11/2025: Very disappointed. The restaurant was cold. The cod fillet was more like a loin, as I got the tail, and it was very dry, even grilled. The portion of rice was small. The chocolate mousse was just cream. I really expected better.

25/01/2026: The praline galette is excellent; I had it twice in January. My parents and I both said it was one of the best we'd ever eaten. Well done! 👏 You can tell it's high quality because even on the fourth day it was still just as good and hadn't dried out. I'll happily buy it every year! Don't change it.
