26/01/2026: Overall, the products are of good quality. However, be sure to listen to your customers. Too often I'm served plain white bread even though I always specify a well-browned crust... I might end up switching bakeries.

My harsh rating stems from the fact that the welcome and service are just as important in a restaurant as the food itself. Once you understand that, you'll have made a lot of progress 😄.

17/02/2026: We ate lunch here on a break from skiing. Initially a waiter told us no tables were available, even though several large parties had left. Then the maitre d’ told us that the kitchen is very busy but they would seat us if we were willing to wait. We said that worked for us. Then the waiter who told us that they had no tables ended up being our waiter and was super rude. He kept rushing us, never smiled, and was clearly annoyed to serve us. Another staff person (man) delivered our drinks and kept calling my friend (a gay man) madame, even after I corrected him and said he was monsieur. He then compounded the insult by saying “Ladies first”. So apparently they are homophobic and anti-American. Food was OK. The wok braised vegetables was 90% noodles. The squash salad was good and large.

20/09/2025: So it's still as good, very, very good quality, and locally sourced 😋 The only downside is that we were seated in the upstairs room on the more or less covered and enclosed terrace, which isn't very attractive and where we were cold. The downstairs room is great, why not open it up? 🤔

02/12/2025: A huge room with a very large bed, a beautiful bathroom (see photos), a nice TV, a fridge, and bathrobes. I recommend it for a relaxing holiday or weekend getaway.

02/11/2025: A comfortable and truly lovely room. The wellness area is well-designed, offering a very pleasant sense of privacy. We were very happy with our two 50-minute massages. The staff intervened only at the right moments, allowing us to remain completely relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast, with a wide selection of high-quality products. We plan to return this spring.

Nestled in the heart of the Mormal Forest lies this beautiful inn, boasting a lovely, tranquil atmosphere, well-spaced tables, a crackling fire, and a cozy fireplace. The homemade cuisine is delicious and served in generous portions. The specialties are clearly marked, and the menu changes weekly, ensuring there's always something new to discover. And the most exceptional aspect was the welcome. The owner greets you with a handshake, shows you to your table, and takes the time (along with his staff) to explain the menu and suggest side dishes. He doesn't interrupt your meal, allowing you to fully savor the delicious food. He checks in to see if everything is alright and if you need anything. Just as upon arrival, he takes the time to greet each guest individually upon departure. In short, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second! It's a superb human and culinary experience that you absolutely must try.

13/01/2026: For a new restaurant We are disappointed!! And we won't be back! The appetizer was really not enough for the price! My husband was still hungry afterwards. The waitress was inexperienced and didn't open the bottles; we had to ask for a corkscrew and open them ourselves! And the bartender was half asleep when it came time to pay!! It's really sad because the place is nice.

21/09/2024: Nous avons été bien accueilli avec notre chien, pour commencer nous avons pris des huîtres mon ami et moi, lorsque les assiettes sont arrivées je n’ai pas tout de suite compris que ce que je voyais flotter au milieu de la vinaigrette s’avérait être 2 grosses mouches et qu’elle ne fut pas ma stupeur lorsque dans la vinaigrette de mon ami c’était pareil !!!!!, je ne comprends pas comment s’est possible, ni le cuisinier, ni la serveuse ont remarqué. Dommage car cela nous a coupé l’appétit.

21/09/2024: Een prima restaurant in Brehec, vlak bij het haventje. Het eten is verrukkelijk (mosselen en Fish and Chips), en de bediening is prima. Vlot, vrolijk en snel. Hier kom ik zo wie zo een keer terug.

25/09/2024: Quelle déception . De l’apéritif au dessert la qualité attendu de la part de ce chef qui nous a habitué à Lyon a l’excellence n’y est pas ! Cocktail « madeleine » à revoir et que dire du Vitello tonato totalement raté par la découpe de la viande non italienne car épaisse et la sauce inadaptée ! Les grenouilles à revoir même si «  fraîches «  la double cuisson implique quand même une cuisson et l’ail persil un minimum de quantité ! Souhaitons à ce bon chef de se remettre rapidement sur les bons rails très difficile de passer d’un petit établissement à cette grande taille ! Petit conseil connaissant le lieu depuis longtemps la terrasse mérite une mise en valeur !

14/09/2024: Grosse déception : nous attendions de tester ce restaurant depuis quelques temps et avons vraiment été déçus par nos assiettes, en dehors d’une succulente côte de bœuf à 140€ pour 3pers, pour les autres, les cuissons n’étaient vraiment pas maîtrisées et nous n’avons pas pris plaisir à manger… De plus, très très cher pour ce que l’on nous a servi. Dommage, aucune envie d’y revenir…

27/01/2026: Good, hearty food, pleasant service, a very good slopeside restaurant in Courchevel at a reasonable price for this glitzy resort.

24/01/2026: Bouc Blanc... I've been going there regularly since 2007; it's a must-stop before heading back to the resort via the superb green run. For all this time, the mulled wine, the hot chocolate with whipped cream... it's pure bliss. A warm atmosphere, friendly hosts, excellent food, and very reasonable prices compared to what you can find nearby. I highly recommend it. This year I treated myself to a gourmet coffee... A very pleasant surprise, it's simple yet indulgent (see photo) and perfect for two people 😂. There's a very large terrace to the side and front, a superb view, right at the foot of the gondola, which even allows you to take the gondola back when the mulled wine is providing all the comfort... A little too warm sometimes for some. A lovely place to stop... And there's also a snack bar for skiers in a hurry. In short, you get the picture... It's pure bliss.
