21/12/2025: Nice and cozy pub, good location. It could be a 4 or even 5 star if it wasn't for the god awful music choice. Constant pop-punk / early-2000s alternative rock like Green Day blasting in the background completely kills the atmosphere — way too loud, aggressive, and out of place for an otherwise relaxed pub.

21/12/2025: Our favourite pub in Annecy! Amazing vibes/ atmosphere, epic choice of beers and some good pub food. Also this is fab location by the to water -a must see if you come to Annecy.

19/02/2026: I'm really disappointed; this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. I've been to quite a few Subways, but this one! I arrived, and the windows were filthy; it looked like children had been playing with them, spitting on them. An elderly person served me—I imagine it was the manager—wearing crumpled gloves, clearly trying to save money on them. He handled everything and anything with them, touching the bread and the food. I saw a tomato that had turned black, even though it was 11:00 AM. The price of the 30-cent sub was the same as everywhere else, but the contents... were practically empty. I could barely taste the filling. Other places have four slices of cheese, but he only gave me three, and the same for the other ingredients. I asked for napkins to wipe my sandwich, and he gave me a single piece of kitchen paper towel. I asked for a bag to take it home, and he put the sandwich in a regular bakery baguette bag. This is the first time I've seen anything like it; I forced myself to eat the sandwich because the whole thing disgusted me afterwards. I'll never go back and I won't recommend it to my friends and family.

06/12/2025: While passing through the Gers region, friends recommended the restaurant L’échappée belle. The reviews I had read seemed contradictory, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The €42 set menu was very well executed, and the service was quite attentive. We shared foie gras, and I had the confit cod with endives and walnuts: everything was delicious. The desserts were simple but effective. The chef was very friendly and came to ask about his customers' impressions. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Well done! We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!

17/01/2026: Disappointment!! It used to be perfect, but this is the second time in six months I've been disappointed. The waitress was very rushed; I ordered a burger with bacon and onions inside… the burger arrived without bacon and onions. I explained this to her, she sent it back to the kitchen, and then came back explaining that they were out of bacon… She brought my burger back with cold fries… no apologies and no gesture of goodwill. I didn't even finish my fries.

14/12/2024: We ended the day with the children in this restaurant to share a drink and had mini burgers to share. Mulled wine, tasteless served in glasses of questionable cleanliness, overpriced mini burgers. 3 mini dry “things” for €12. We tried it and we will not return, despite a nice setting and service.

23/11/2025: Unbeatable location in Place Louis XIV. We went with high expectations and the team at La Txalupa delivered. We started with a textbook Foie Gras: perfect texture and intense flavor. But the undisputed star is the Sole Plantxa (Sole). At €38 a dish, you expect quality, and they certainly delivered; fresh product, treated with absolute respect. Honorable mention to the wine (Gascogne Big Blc), a fantastic discovery for €22 that pairs beautifully with the fish. The service was surprisingly attentive and efficient for a tourist spot. The only downside: €5 for half a liter of Vittel water seems like highway robbery, but we forgive them for the final Gateau Basque. Recommended if you want quality and don't mind the price.

10/11/2025: A fantastic find at the end of October; everything was perfect, from the welcome to the dessert. A very warm welcome, a beautiful restaurant, a delicious meal with high-quality ingredients—what more can you say when everything is perfect, except that we highly recommend it!

20/12/2025: A true haven of peace in the heart of the Ardèche! The welcome is simple yet genuine, the rooms exude calm and wood, and the view of the fir trees offers a real escape from everyday life. The restaurant is a delightful surprise: hearty and generous local cuisine. Perfect for an authentic break between the mountains and the human connection. An address to remember.

07/11/2025: We had lunch as a family at the restaurant. The dining room is very pleasant (opt for the rotunda section, which is cozier and sunnier). A gourmet meal. Congratulations on the cuisine, which was full of surprises. As pleasing to the eye as it was to the palate, it was a journey of delightful discoveries. The desserts deserve special mention. One point to note: the service can be a bit hesitant. You almost feel like you're intruding.

24/01/2026: Excellent thin-crust pizza. We regularly order takeaway pizzas. For us, these are the best pizzas in Vence. Super friendly and professional staff. All this at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.
