The pancakes are always good, plentiful with local offerings (Chaource, Cider from the Pays d’Othe, etc.) Reservations are strongly recommended as the team does not accept unforeseen visits. Perfect for a light dinner, early in the evening

24/09/2024: The excellent cuisine, the charming and picturesque location at the foot of Maubec, and near the GR6 for hikers. The only downside is the acoustics of the large room when there are slightly noisy groups.

06/09/2024: I can only strongly recommend that you avoid Le Bistrot de G if you care at all about your evening. From the moment you enter, the tone is set: a service of mediocrity rarely achieved. The waiters, clearly in a hurry to get the day over with, didn't hesitate to snatch my plate from under my nose, even though I still had food left. But why worry about customers when you can treat them like dead weight to be dispatched as quickly as possible, right? And let’s talk about food… if you can call it food. For an exuberant price, I was treated to a steak worthy of a shoe sole. A real chewing test, and even then, I don’t think my jaw has still recovered. Clearly, here you are not paying for quality, but for the right to survive the culinary experience. The icing on the cake? We were literally thrown out at the end. Not a thank you, not a goodbye, just a good sweep to clear the horizon. A bistro where customer satisfaction is clearly treated as well as their dishes: poorly cooked and thrown away in a hurry. Absolutely avoid.
