30/11/2025: Very nice place on the Île de Saint Louis. The girl who served us was very kind. The crepes were delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxing given the simple setting. Overall, I would return.

09/02/2026: Convenient if you want to try the typical savory (or sweet) crepe. There's only one person cooking, so you have to wait a bit. Still, it's very good and worth a visit.

08/02/2026: We arrived at 4:10 PM and sat at a table in front of the bar. Thirty-five minutes later, there was still no one to take our order. I understand it was busy, but several tables that arrived after us were served before us. So, I'd say it was either a poor welcome or poor service management, especially since the waiters still had time to be grumpy.

01/11/2025: Disappointment. The flambéed prawns were undercooked, the peppers were raw, and the dish was bland. The "gourmet coffee" at €9.50 was really lacking in quality. Frankly, it's a shame, you have the location to do great things. The service was adequate. The price is very high considering the quality.

31/10/2025: This restaurant doesn't deserve its bad reputation at all. Good food, friendly service (thank you, Anthony!), and a prime location... what more could you ask for to have a great time? Many thanks to the team at L'Écailler, we'll be back next year!

23/01/2026: It's a disaster! The mashed potatoes are very runny, and the choice of vegetables and side dishes is extremely limited (see photos). The staff really need training! Besides, there weren't many people there, so there's no excuse...

02/09/2024: An impudence - tourist rip-off before the Lord! Had coffee here with my family. It's incredibly overpriced: we paid €32 for 2 cappuccinos and 2 colas (0.33)! When paying, my sister was boldly asked what percentage of tip she wanted to give... 10, 15 or 20 percent. The overwhelmed answer was 10%. The waiter then took her bank card from her hand and paid. Unfortunately, he apparently couldn't give out the receipt and it was only handed over when I asked urgently. However, the bill was €42, which is 10 euros instead of a 10% tip. An impudence. Only after further inquiries was the €5 cash handed over again. According to the other reviews, this is obviously not an isolated incident. The bottom line is stressful, overpriced and clearly not recommended!

09/10/2025: As a group of 11 ladies we were seated in the outdoor heated area which was fine. We had 2 courses of mixed quality. The following evening we just had drinks and were sat in the same area. On the third evening, again we went for drinks but were told we would not be accommodated. No explanation and the restaurant was very quiet. Really rude and would certainly not recommend. We are ladies of a certain age and certainly not a rowdy bunch. Maybe we didn’t spend enough on drinks? We were certainly made welcome everywhere else we ate.

08/09/2025: Extremely loud. Pleased to be seated as almost full. My ribs were tough and would not recommend. The sharing starter and deserts were fabulous 👌

02/12/2023: The waiter attacked my wife saying that she had spoken to him badly, even though she did not speak to him because I was the one who placed the order. On two occasions he was aggressive, avoiding this restaurant. For our part we will never go back there.

25/11/2024: Well, I won't talk about the club because I couldn't even get in there. What I wanted to talk about was the two bouncers at the entrance who turned me away without giving me the slightest reason and in a rather rude manner, one SUNDAY evening at 11:30 p.m. I just wanted to have a quick beer after working all day, isn't that possible? Probably they didn't let them in because, not long before, I was talking a little loudly on the phone with another Italian friend of mine? I don't know, but after this scene, I think I'll avoid coming back here. That's great, see you ever again.

10/11/2024: Always a good atmosphere at Loupika, a cocooning, caring place. We can discover new DJs who are starting out, it’s really great that they give everyone the chance to perform. Favorite place in Lyon 🫶🏻
