14/10/2026: ⚠️ Tourist trap! Stay away from here! Unfair practices and a ridiculously high bill. As regular visitors to Paris, we had our worst experience ever here. The service is a well-rehearsed act designed to rip off customers. The waitress arrives with a chalkboard and shows you the dishes so quickly that you barely have time to think. My husband asked for a ribeye and I for half a chicken. She literally forced an antipasti platter on us that we hadn't asked for (which turned out to be the best part of the meal). The main courses were rubbish. The chicken was bone dry, there wasn't a single vegetable on the plate, and the exact same pot of gravy was served with both dishes. The low point came at the bill: €119 for two main courses, a forced starter, and two drinks! Only afterwards did we get the explanation that the meat is actually charged by weight at €9 per 100 grams, meaning my husband's piece of meat suddenly cost €58 without us knowing this beforehand. This is pure rip-off! Strangely enough, a different lady than the one who served us suddenly came to bring the bill, probably because they are used to people being angry afterwards. Additionally, the owner's two dogs were constantly begging at our table, without anyone saying anything about it. Terribly annoying and totally unprofessional and unhygienic. This was the first and last time at Le Petit Broc. Now that we are reading the reviews afterwards, we see that we are absolutely not the only ones. Various platforms are teeming with complaints about exactly the same dishonest practices! Tourists: walk past this restaurant, they are scammers!

27/04/2026: We stayed for a family weekend. We were delighted with our stay. The hotel is lovely, we had dinner in the restaurant and it was perfect, we also ate at the snack bar and it was also perfect, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Thank you to the hotel staff who made our stay so enjoyable.

26/04/2026: I only ate at their restaurant, which was absolutely delicious and luxurious, specializing in fish and shellfish. Every Sunday there's an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet and a dessert platter, and you can also order the daily set menu. On other days there's a very varied selection. In my opinion, this restaurant deserves a Michelin star.

15/08/2026: What a surprise to eat, after 50, your best mixed salad on the terrace of a small Arlesian café! Without hesitation, choose the farm salad: you will find the chicken and Emmental cheese promised, but also unexpected flavors and quality products.

21/10/2026: We had a pleasant evening, but we were disappointed by the quality of the food. The mussels were very small and many of the shells were empty. The daily specials came with very basic frozen sides for the price of the dish, and the profiteroles were hard and dry. Furthermore, the waitress wasn't very attentive to our comments and didn't seem concerned about our disappointment.

30/04/2026: It looked outdated, the workers only spoke French, the food was pretty bland. The main room was not at all welcoming, it's like an industrial warehouse. There is no elevator to get to the rooms, we were on the second floor and had to go up with dogs and suitcases and besides, I have a bad knee.

28/04/2026: We spent an overnight stay at this establishment with the Toulouse Harley Davidson chapter. There were 55 of us. We were very satisfied. The meal was excellent; the rooms, as well as the entire hotel, were very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped (good bedding). Furthermore, the location was easily accessible, very quiet, with secure parking; and the staff was very attentive. We had a very pleasant time. We recommend this establishment without hesitation.

12/10/2026: At the risk of upsetting you, I'm writing to share my culinary and professional experience of your Saturday evening dinner. Let's start with the welcome, which was practically nonexistent; there was no one at reception. Our waitress, undoubtedly dedicated, didn't know her basics. When offering still water, you specify that it costs €5, whereas it's free at the hotel? It's unacceptable to mislead a customer without informing them. Continuing: You don't present an amuse-bouche as "St. Maure Chantilly cream." This is a misnomer that deceives the customer. Chantilly cream is sweet and vanilla-flavored, according to Escoffier's definition. "Let's protect our culinary heritage." The dishes weren't even presented to us, which is a shame considering the work done in the kitchen. The wine service was imperfect. If the wine list indicates a 2023 vintage, you should serve a 2023, not a 2024. The service was very slow, too slow for my liking, unlike the last customers who were served more quickly. My wife's monkfish dish wasn't very well presented; the skin on the monkfish tail was black, and the cooking was poorly executed. As for the rest, the dessert was very good but too simple. Best of luck and keep up the good work; it's a tough and demanding profession.

28/09/2026: WARNING: THIS RESTAURANT IS NO LONGER THE ONE RECOMMENDED FOR YEARS. The decline is staggering. The menu is very dreary, with a €55 set menu offering a choice of six courses including dessert. The cheese plate is best avoided. The wine list is limited to about ten selections. The service is struggling to maintain order with interns left to fend for themselves. In short, it's not certain that it's any better than the village square, especially considering the very touristy price. I don't know if this change has been a success, but the only remaining advantage of staying overnight in the hotel is the possibility of a nighttime visit to the abbey in a truly monastic atmosphere.

07/08/2026: A warm and friendly place, I highly recommend it! Special mention to the very attractive bartender, the one with the beautiful curly hair and the magnificent smile! Seeing him behind the bar when you arrive is a real treat for the eyes! It always sets the tone for a great evening! PS: We always cross our fingers that he'll be the one serving us #mathyslebg

27/07/2026: The atmosphere is good but I have to admit that seeing the glasses being "cleaned" in half a second with a squirt of water, with the DNA of the last 10 customers still present... It doesn't really appeal to me.

02/08/2026: We spent a weekend at the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant was a truly fabulous discovery. The chef prepared a menu worthy of a top restaurant, all for a very reasonable price. Amuse-bouche, starter, fish, meat, pre-dessert, dessert! Everything was excellent. There were seven adults and two children in our party. The children's menus were also very good, featuring fresh and well-prepared ingredients. A truly wonderful find.

30/06/2026: I was lucky enough to dine at their restaurant and have them cater my wedding. They are fantastic, from the owners to the staff. The food is excellent. They truly want their customers to be pampered. I highly recommend them because of the wonderful atmosphere, the friendly service, and the delicious food.

Everything was perfect: impeccable service, beautifully presented dishes, and exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. We felt truly valued, and that makes all the difference! 19/10/2026: A very nice, relaxed restaurant. We were there with our dog, and he was immediately given water and a biscuit. The service deserves more than 5 stars; we've rarely experienced such friendly staff. The food was very good, and the intervals between courses were perfect. The mussels with Camembert are outstanding, but I'm also a fan of the small mussels. Everything was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended!
