08/12/2024: A Palace in the Landes countryside, an enchantment!!!!

04/12/2024: We spent our anniversary evening at the Michelin-starred restaurant Michel Guérard. The establishment is a prodigious place which deserves to be known. On the other hand, for a 3-star restaurant the service is a little limited. My husband accidentally spilled his glass of champagne included in the menu...the unfortunate liquid spilled copiously on me and on the tablecloth. In a Michelin-starred restaurant we are expected to move tables (the restaurant was not full). We had to ask to change seats, the cutlery was bathed in champagne and the tablecloth was soaked. The appetizers for this aperitif arrived late and no one thought of refilling my husband's glass, which is done in any Michelin-starred restaurant or not... Very disappointed by this lack of professionalism, we expected better and especially not to beg for repairs to the damage. It is certain that we will not promote this establishment I admit that, having worked with these renowned restaurants for a long time, the subject would not even have come up...On the other hand, the dinner lived up to its stars, fortunately. And the servers are very good. Many interns, a bit surprising in this establishment, they did everything to make the dinner a success.

21/01/2025: Very nice evening with friends in a friendly setting. Simple and generous French cuisine with good products. Choice of high quality wines. Very warm welcome and surprise of a successful birthday.

27/06/2025: We were passing through on our way to Mont-Saint-Michel when we came across this restaurant, attracted by the excellent reviews. We wanted to make up our own minds... and what a pleasant surprise! It was flawless from start to finish: the welcome, the service, the quality of the food... everything was absolutely perfect. It's important to emphasize this, because services of such quality are unfortunately becoming rare these days. I highly recommend this place, a real gem!

13/12/2024: Very good address. Everything is perfectly balanced: the dishes are good, homemade and well served; the team is attentive, authentic and without fuss (a special thank you for your good vibes with the children!) and of course, the wines are excellent. In addition, thanks to the sommeliers' explanations, we appreciate their history as much as their flavor. A real pleasure when you like to know what you are tasting! So, even if there are too many fennel seeds for my taste (yeah, I think that if you're not team coriander, you're not team fennel either! 😆), I'm not far from saying that Dame Jeanne is one of my favorite places in Arras, to do as a couple, with friends or family! Go take a look, you won't be disappointed! In any case, we will be back soon! 😁

28/08/2024: Très bon resto,les ris de veau pour moi étaient très bons et copieux . Le steak était bon pt bémol les frites pas terribles. La pavlova était super 👍 ainsi que le crumble aux abricots. Le personnel est très sympa 👍 les vins affichent des prix abordables👋 Bon rapport qualité-prix.

21/09/2024: I don't know if it's 'racism' or disorganization, the fact is that in a week we weren't able to eat. We wanted to eat, traditional, and that seemed to be the only place. We tried all week to book but nothing, we passed by the place and when we saw that they had empty seats we understood that they just didn't want us. We didn't starve, we ate in other places. 😊

06/04/2025: Very nice place. The food is very good. The service is perfect, and the timings were very well followed. The staff is attentive despite the crowds. The value for money is excellent. We had a great time there.

03/04/2025: Too bad it has become too commercial tables everywhere too many people it was a picturesque place before but hey we need something for everyone so I'm going to explore elsewhere good luck

28/09/2024: Excellent brasserie cuisine with fresh, homemade products. Excellent service, the owners are super friendly. A little benol in the room which is brilliant.

08/09/2024: Repas du midi à deux, le cadre et le local sont un peu en-dessous de ce que devrait proposer un restaurant qui se veut dans cette tranche de prix (85€ à deux, menu entrée/plat/dessert sans alcool) La cuisine : excellente et qualitative, 90% des produits viennent des environs et c'est très bien. Les plats sont beaux et bons (dos de cabillaud et tempura de legumes, cheesecake de legumes et crevetes et fondant au chocolat), les desserts sont d'ailleurs massifs. Bref on y mange très bien ! Le service : beaucoup d'incompréhensions avce le serveur quand nous l'avons questionné sur les plats mais très gentil et souriant. Attention, ça a traîné un peu en longueur pour prendre notre commande et servir les premiers plats L'ambiance : dommage que ce soit ce local que vous ayez pour votre cuisine, il est petit et c'était assez bruyant le jour de notre repas. S'il vous plaît, enlevez la table à l'entrée ce n'est pas du tout agréable d'être dans le passage des va-et-vient Restaurant de qualité qui gagnerait à être dans un endroit un peu plus grand ou qui devrait refaire le plan de table et la salle car il y a matière à en faire une très belle adresse !

12/08/2024: The owner (who we disturbed enjoying a brief break between the end of his prep and the start of service) managed to accomodate us at no notice, and we are so glad that he did! The food was simply amazing (we had the pig's trotters/ scallops to start and both opted for the truffled chicken, as part of the brilliant value fixed-price menu (which also included a cheese course and desert, as well as an amuse bouche). This was the final meal of our holiday, having eaten at various places in France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland and it was by far the best. The waiting staff were helpful and just-the-right-amount of attentive. As a small chef-owned place, the quality and care shine through. We'll be back the next time we are in Metz, don't miss the chance if you're planning to be there!

08/06/2025: Great bar. Very friendly. Can buy your croissants in the boulangerie and eat them in the bar for breakfast.

17/05/2025: Lunch with friends on vacation, everything was very good and the duck leg is highly recommended.

28/09/2024: We came on a Saturday lunchtime as a couple. Superb location, an intimate table away from the big tables. Good attention to service and good advice. The dishes are delicious and the flavors are there. We had a great time there. Also a perfect wine pairing. We will come back!

21/11/2024: Nous avons trouvé cet endroit en hésitant vu l'emplacement touristique. Mais surtout n'hésitez pas. Nous avons été accueillis avec chaleur vers 15h. Menu du jour et pizza excellents, service au top et de bon conseil et rapport qualité prix extra. Bref arrêtez vous pour une escale déjeuner ou dîner.
