14/09/2024: A real pleasure. I had a small tray made for myself and I was delighted. It was super good and quality. Raw mussels, just cooked in vinegar and berries, are super tasty. THANKS

10/09/2024: Second time we come. It's amazing. Platter of six oysters with mussels and clams, 18 prawns, water and bottle of local white wine for €49. And everything is very good.

10/08/2024: Very hearty dish and cooked on site. Incredible atmosphere, discreet but very “good-natured” to recommend for families as well as for groups of young people (with respect for others of course). Great relationships with the waiters and the boss.

25/08/2024: Pros: We were upgraded from a classic room which was nice of reception (room 327). Room quiet as faces pool but there is some noise from adjoining rooms. Location on main road so easy car access. Breakfast offerings good except no toaster which is pretty standard in Western hotels. Had some lovely cakes and good range of fruits. Location right near old town so can walk to all restaurants, shops, cafes etc. Bed comfortable. Lots of cupboard space in room. Cons: Room old and dated with scuff marks on walls etc, dirty carpet and minimal light. Lots of mould growing above shower. No balcony or much interaction with outside world due to small window so it's quite depressing. Had asked to book car into garage only to be told that they were full when i arrived which is annoying. Gym small with not many weights or machines and poor AC. Pool area small for size of hotel. Pillows on bed too hard. It also felt like an old folks home at time being the base for Viking boat tours so there were a lot of grey nomads.

21/09/2024: Assez déçu du repas ! A notre arrivée, On ne nous propose pas la suggestion du jour, qu'on propose à la table à côté, installé 5mn après nous 🤔 Passons... Nous prenons une carbonnade flamande hum le plat de notre jeunesse, sauf que: connaissez vous une carbonnade avec une poêlé de légumes dans l'assiette et une crème sous les frites ? Et le goût tellement prononcé de la bière que je ne fini pas, limite écœurant .... et les frites et bien plus assez de place dans l'assiette ,une poignée suffira ! Bref très déçu. Donc pas de desserts ni café, Nous irons ailleurs la prochaine fois.

15/09/2024: Décoration, style du restaurant annonçait une ambiances convivial et familial (comme les mineurs de l'époque et les gens du nord) mais les reproches du serveur en arrivant et tout le long du service, on laissait un goût amer. Nous avons été surpris de nous voir refuser les desserts des menus enfants alors qu'il était au menu et dans l'addition.

21/09/2024: Very good restaurant. Everything is homemade. They put local producers to work. Good products, regional and/or organic and not more expensive than in other restaurants. We were able to have a gluten-free version of the burger for our celiac son. Very serious people, having asked us to come at the start of the service to ensure "zero cross contamination". I highly recommend! But you have to book 😉

17/09/2024: We were very well received and without reservation. The dishes are made from fresh produce, they are delicious and are beautifully served on plates or bowls. The service is perfect and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We very warmly recommend this restaurant which we were more than happy with!

15/09/2024: We had the most wonderful evening at this restaurant. It is rare indeed that a restaurant combines service, food and a spectacular view. We had a very special dining experience. The staff was helpful, friendly and the timing of the meal service was perfect. We enjoyed a three course fixe price meal that was wonderfully prepared and elegantly presented, The wine that was suggested paired well with our food.

14/09/2024: Nous n'avions pas eu encore l'occasion de revenir au trois domes depuis son lifting. Je doit dire que c'est réussi, la déco est épuré, le service très pro sans être oppressant ,la cuisine toujours aussi maîtrisé. Nous reviendrons plus souvent.

22/09/2024: Another excellent meal, with dishes often changed and always of very good quality!! I have never been disappointed in the many years that I have frequented this establishment. You can go there with your eyes closed. A waitress who is always smiling, pleasant and attentive to her customers! A special mention for the pretty table decoration and especially the green napkins!!!!!

19/08/2024: What a pleasure to taste crepes made with local products (we loved the one with Penestin mussels and saffron sauce and what about the one with banana, chocolate, coconut and homemade whipped cream👍👏), with smiling, professional waitresses , effective. We came for the first time as a family and discovered this creperie near Questembert where we live and we will come back with great pleasure!

19/09/2024: We chose this restaurant because we had consulted the reviews to find an authentic restaurant. A treat from starter to dessert. We ate under the plane trees and were served by a Ch'ti like us! The Norwegian omelette was served to us by the boss (we think so) who agreed to change the desserts! Thank you sir! Well done to leading the team. Address to note in your diaries (left parking lot opposite) We'll be back in September! Happy season to you. Cdlt The Ch'ti of 33 and the Ch'tis of 60. New visits in April for birthday and in September 24 for 2 weeks of vacation as good as ever!

12/09/2024: Le Largo is, in my opinion, the best meat restaurant in Lyon, and believe me, as a regular on the Lyon gastronomic scene, I have tried a few! The quality of the meat is simply exceptional, tender and flavorful every time. A must for meat lovers – on the other hand, vegetarians, move on, this is the kingdom of prime rib! Impeccable service, friendly atmosphere and a guaranteed culinary experience. Not to be missed

07/09/2024: Exceptional, from starter to dessert, even coffee! We chose the secreto and the duo of pâté en croute as a starter, the secreto literally tastes good in your mouth... Then a tasting of matured meats, Aubrac and Salers, presented in the window by the staff, then cut and brought back to the table before cooking... red wine chosen by the glass, roast side, and Saint Joseph are no longer to be presented! The desserts were also very good! In short, a taste experience where you launch with your eyes closed!

27/09/2024: We were offered lunch in this restaurant that we did not know. We went there on a rainy day in September without really knowing what to expect. To make things more complicated, we only had an hour and twenty minutes for lunch, which, on a 5-course menu, can be complicated. The experience was excellent. The chef first organized himself to hold this lunch in the short time allotted. The dishes are prepared with great talent and touches of originality which give them a particular interest. The ingredients, mostly local, are perfectly chosen and beautifully combined. This chef could certainly have chosen to earn a better living by opening a tourist brasserie and serving steak fries or Cesar salads. But he did not choose this profession as a restaurateur by chance. He chose it out of passion and therefore opted for the difficulty of serving gourmet, demanding and even artistic cuisine. He can be extremely proud of the quality of the dishes offered. I am lucky to have been able to dine in many starred restaurants. This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Well done Chef and keep it up!
