19/05/2026: Excellent choice for a restaurant with a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area surrounded by lush greenery. The service was top-notch, with very friendly waiters and a touch of humor from the waitress. 👏 The staff's explanations were helpful in choosing from the menus. The portions were generous and appetizing. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients, I highly recommend this restaurant. Reasonable price for a full meal. 👍 A wide variety of choices on the menu.

Chez Axelle is a superb, tranquil spot where the husband (?) warmly welcomes and serves with genuine enthusiasm while his wife is busy in the kitchen, ensuring a generous and satisfying meal. Please be sure to make a brunch reservation, especially on Sundays, as it's essential to enjoy the service. Thank you again, it was DELICIOUS. We'll be back!!!

06/07/2026: A very good buchon in the rather touristy area of Vieux Lyon. We had a late lunch & were happy to find our first buchon being very accommodating. The sets sounded good & we were introduced to most of the traditional Lyonnaise dishes in a gentle way. The dishes exceeded our expectation & we loved the quaint deco as well as quaint architecture & design. It was particularly fun to find one could get lost in the narrow stairs to the toilet as well as challenge to switch on the lights. Service was excellent. It was a happy encounter.

05/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The terrace is a real bonus: nestled in an open courtyard, it remains pleasantly shaded, which is very welcome in the summer. The set menu was excellent, featuring a homemade terrine with delicious homemade bread, a perfectly cooked duck breast with a flavorful jus, and a praline tartlet for dessert—simply superb. The service was also top-notch: welcoming, professional, and attentive from start to finish. A truly excellent restaurant that we highly recommend!

03/08/2026: After reading the reviews, we went there on a Saturday at lunchtime with our two children, and one thing is for sure: we won't be going back. The duck tartare was at room temperature and inedible, and the waitress didn't even ask any questions when she took my plate. The children's menu consisted of very thin, extremely charred, almost black, hamburgers. Our only regret is not taking photos to illustrate this disaster. Only the pâté en croûte and the Duchess potatoes redeem this place, which could be fabulous.

20/07/2026: Every time I go eat in this semi gastro restaurant the food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic , at the Oustau de Beaumaniere , the service is impeccable , and very caring despite having mix of very young staff and well experienced as well. Great dishes based on locally sourced products . The terrasse is so nice , and you can dine on a big table if you are travelling with family in south of France .

The flavors complement each other with precision and creativity. The menus are intelligently designed, showcasing high-quality ingredients, treated with care at every stage. From appetizer to dessert, the cooking is impeccable, demonstrating true expertise. A big thank you also to the service, which was welcoming and warm. The staff takes the time to explain the dishes, sometimes surprising, but always delicious. A culinary experience as enjoyable as it is memorable!

28/07/2026: It was my first time eating at an Iranian restaurant, and it was very nice. I had the vegetarian dish, which is vegetables cooked with spices and a side of your choice. I chose the rice, which was absolutely delicious; I highly recommend it. There's a good selection, so it's great.

14/07/2026: A true rugby headquarters, a convivial place where karaoke enthusiasts meet, a spot where regulars gather for a Gin and Tonic (by the pool) or several, depending on the owner's mood. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner, a Gin and Tonic (or several), and especially for Cyril and his fantastic team.

12/07/2026: A perfect spot for Sunday brunch! The €20 set menu (savory and sweet dishes) is delicious and incredibly generous. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The terrace boasts a stunning view of all of Paris, directly opposite the Eiffel Tower, making it a truly unique place. The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming; you feel comfortable and relaxed! In short, I recommend it 200%: delicious food, an enchanting setting, and impeccable service! What more could you ask for?

12/07/2026: Fantastic! We ate there during a train stopover, and the staff were lovely and very accommodating given our tight schedule. The food was delicious, very fresh and light, right in the middle of a pedestrian street in the heart of the Avignon Festival. The cicadas provided a lovely accompaniment to the meal :) Reservations recommended.

09/07/2026: Very good, but we were disappointed by the cheeses, which had a slight refrigerator smell and weren't at their best. The carafes of water are overpriced; for five people, we paid €46 for water on top of the beers and wine! Nevertheless, I commend the chef for his creativity and his team for the impeccable service.
