02/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Évreux! The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. The burgers are simply incredible: generous, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. I also absolutely loved the salmon pizza, which is truly delicious, well-topped, and perfectly cooked. The staff is welcoming, the service is quick, and the restaurant is clean. The value for money is excellent. It's a place I always return to with pleasure and that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who enjoys good food!

And what can I say about the food… We were in heaven! High-quality ingredients, delicious dishes, and a truly fantastic, warm, and attentive team. I highly recommend it!

07/07/2026: We had a wonderful family dinner at L'Auberge de la Clavelière. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and attentive welcome that immediately put us at ease. And what can we say about the terrace… an absolutely magnificent view of the valley and mountains, made even more breathtaking last night by the light of the setting sun. A truly exceptional setting. As for the food, we all thoroughly enjoyed it: generous, flavorful, and delicious cuisine from appetizer to dessert. Beautifully presented dishes, perfectly cooked, and above all, the pleasure of sharing a wonderful meal together. A truly convivial family experience in a place where the setting, the welcome, and the cuisine complement each other perfectly. Thank you to the entire team for this lovely evening. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Thank you for your professionalism, which is so rare in the restaurant industry.

07/08/2026: The setting isn't necessarily the most charming, but the welcome is warm, the food is good and tasty (which is what counts), and the prices are reasonable. Don't miss it!

31/07/2026: Stopped for lunch on a long drive and was very pleased. Small local place, very simple inside but the lady owner was very welcoming and helpful, the food was excellent, and very reasonable prices. Would happily stop again if passing.

28/08/2026: Not much choice on the menu, the quality of the meat needs improvement, and there were only three dessert options. Plus, we were the first customers at lunchtime, so there was no excuse that the dishes had sold out before we arrived. Disappointed because the reviews seemed good, but I won't be going back.

11/10/2026: An order was placed for a baby shower; the pastries and cream puffs were good. Unfortunately, there was an error with the other items we ordered (the babka, which we were really looking forward to, and the Nanterre brioches, which we had ordered in advance, weren't in the order); instead, we received replacement cakes (?)... but the worst part was that one of them, labeled "Demo," smelled like detergent... so it was inedible and risky. The woman offered a credit note and was sorry, but we were still very disappointed and the inconvenience wasn't acknowledged. The other items were good, and the delivery was on time, so it's really a shame for a place like XXV.

10/09/2026: I'm a regular at tea rooms. I stopped in front of the cake display without seeing any prices. I tried anyway. The woman described all the cakes to me, and I chose the dark chocolate and orange one. She offered me several drinks, and I decided to try the iced coffee (big mistake because, to this day, I still haven't digested it...). A "small" slice of cake cost €4, and this indigestible drink was €7. It's too expensive; I'll go to other tea rooms next time.

27/08/2026: Visited twice with my daughter, including today. The coffee and hot chocolate were very good. The cakes were excellent—organic and homemade. And the staff were very pleasant. For the price, let's be honest: it's not the cheapest option, but you're paying for the quality. We didn't have the chance to try the food, but it looked delicious. I highly recommend it.

23/06/2026: Pleasantly surprised! It seems there's been a change of ownership? Everything has improved! Thank you to the new owners for the variety of their high-quality breads!! I especially loved the walnut loaf; it's rare to find walnuts that aren't bitter. They have a few other great ones, including their pistachio and sour cherry galette des rois (a bestseller). Oh yes, their chouquettes—I'm speechless! Thank you for the quality, and keep up the good work.

23/08/2026: Excellent charcuterie platter, beautifully presented and quite generous. The meats were delicious and served with fresh bread. The restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and the service is pleasant.

22/08/2026: We wanted a small beer and a charcuterie board. The beer arrived after 10 minutes, brought by the brunette waitress who was working the area next to the food truck. She just placed the three glasses on the table without saying if the charcuterie board was coming. I called her over three minutes later to ask when it would arrive, and she haughtily replied, "You have to give it time to prepare, it's not done like that," and then she left. So, I asked my husband at that moment, "Three thin slices of bread, two pieces of cheese, pickles, and some bread—it takes 30 minutes to make that?" The concept is, you drink without eating! 🙃 All this only for the charcuterie board to arrive five minutes later, brought to us by the much more pleasant blonde woman with glasses. When it came time to pay, she asked me twice if everything went well, still with a haughty air. I answered her twice, "Yes, I don't have much of a voice, I've caught a bit of a cold." On top of that, she took a piece of paper and fanned herself in front of her face, like she didn't care, she was hot. If this young woman doesn't like what she does, she can stay home; it would spare the customers from having to put up with her moods. It was Friday, August 21st, between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. We were at one of the two round tables on the raised floor next to the exit and the truck, and opposite the restrooms. We come regularly, but I usually ask for our friend, the one who's always funny and friendly, but he wasn't there yesterday. I'm not thanking you or congratulating you. It's a shame because after all these years of coming, once is enough to change our perspective.

16/10/2026: Onion soup, pâté for one of us, mini penne for the vegetarian, friendly and attentive service, a pitcher of Chardonnay at a fair price – we thoroughly enjoyed this excellent Parisian brasserie before visiting the Banksy museum across the street. Perfect!

04/06/2026: We booked a restaurant at 12:30. Received a confirmation. We were late for 20 min (driving from another country). The restaurant and the hotel were completely closed.

10/05/2026: We spent one night at this hotel, and it was a really great experience right next to the festival. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and clean, and the managers are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

12/10/2026: I had lunch there today. The place was very clean, the welcome was very pleasant, and the traditional cuisine was excellent. I highly recommend it.

28/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped there on Thursday at lunchtime. The food was good, but it's a shame the owner treated locals and tourists differently. It all started well when we ordered; he told us the children's menu items were the same as the regular menu but with smaller portions and spaghetti instead of vegetables and potatoes. I said, "Very well." But when my wife and I ordered our meals, we were also served spaghetti, while all the other customers received vegetables and potatoes. For dessert, I ordered a red fruit crumble tart, but instead, I received red berries in a ramekin with a little undercooked crumble topping. Just before bringing my dessert, the owner gave the last slice of red fruit crumble to one of the friends in front of me. What a disappointment to end on such a sour note! I think it's a shame to treat tourists this way. They'll be crying about it when they lose their tourists.
