24/10/2025: I only know this restaurant for lunch. The food is certainly basic but perfectly adequate and does its job: lunch menu, we are not here for a gourmet meal! Pleasant atmosphere, especially university staff and students. Beautiful terrace on the sunny side, so often even in winter. The owner is a little gruff but the owner is adorable and puts on a good face. Fast and professional service. I go there often.

09/10/2025: It was the first restaurant I tried when I arrived in Montpellier three years ago. Despite not speaking French, the owner treated me wonderfully and was very friendly. The food was delicious: the meat, the pâté, and the salad. I think about this meal every day. I hope to eat here again soon. Thank you all ❤️🇲🇽

01/01/2026: Waiting at the table to order for about 20 minutes had the attention of the different waiters multiple times. We were told: j’arrive toute suite, when we left without ordering nor consuming anything, they suddenly woke up … sorry the neighbours have better reviews for a reason..

27/01/2026: A lovely little brasserie on the Place d'Estienne d'Orves with an unobstructed view of the Church of the Holy Trinity. The Mont d'Or cheese with sausage was excellent. The burger too.

24/01/2026: "Le Phénix et l’Espresso" 🍸 A place that saves lives (or at least evenings)! We arrived completely exhausted and left with incredible energy for our show at the Mogador Theatre. It all started with a fantastic team of servers, and a special shout-out to Tristan for the warm welcome. Then, things got serious with the bartender: we couldn't decide between Pierre and Victor (sorry 🙏), but whoever was at the helm, his Espresso Martinis are a secret weapon! We loved the atmosphere so much that we brought the family for drinks, and even came back for dinner after the show for a second dose of caffeine. We left feeling refreshed and revitalized. A fantastic time, an amazing team, and a perfect location just steps from the theatre. Thank you for this energy boost! The Gersoises 🦆

27/01/2026: Too bad, I just learned that Flunch serves halal beef 🐂 I don't eat that kind of meat, why favor certain communities? We're in France, why not support our farmers who are fighting to have their good meat recognized?

24/01/2026: I won't be coming back due to the lack of hygiene. The glasses and dishes were dirty, and the rest of the staff wasn't very pleasant. The service was terrible, and there was no greeting or anything. I'll go elsewhere.

03/01/2026: The staff were extremely unfriendly, and there were no paper menus, making it inconvenient for the elderly! Keep this in mind...

27/12/2025: We ended up at this restaurant because all the others were packed. There was a lot of confusion with the orders. Otherwise, not bad. Nice atmosphere.

22/01/2026: I came for lunch during the week. The set menu, including a main course and dessert of the day, along with the chef's suggestions, was very well prepared! I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the excellent food and service!

04/01/2026: Returning to this restaurant, we were very surprised by the à la carte prices: €24 for a butcher's cut served with overcooked, greasy fries straight from the vat, and the icing on the cake: a single frozen chocolate fondant, microwaved for €8 – a tourist trap!

29/10/2025: While visiting a client with two colleagues in the area, the restaurant opened for us even though it was closed. A very kind gentleman saved the day after we had called seven different restaurants, all of which were closed (for the evening). The food was delicious, and we were even able to take some snacks home for the next day for the rest of our work at the client's site in Siauges-Sainte-Marie. The entire Micronics Systems team thanks you for your hospitality and thank you again for the complimentary tiramisu!

15/08/2025: The owner is fantastic, the waitresses too, a dynamic and youthful team, thank you so much for a great time. They were attentive even on August 15th, when it was packed!

30/10/2025: On the website, it didn't say "closed." Very disappointed. I don't even know if it's still operating during the holiday season.

16/10/2025: TLDR: Disappointing food, poor service and rude staff. If you are going to the beach save your money and eat beforehand or go somewhere else after. If the convenience overweighs all else, note no credit cards accepted and the ATM is about a 5-10m walk. Our party of 10 for lunch at noon was seated promptly with a note on our table that there was another reservation for 3pm. Okay, not a problem. We only drank water and ordered food right away. By the way, we were coming from the beach and nearly all of our party spoke French (4 are French). We waited about 20m for our food. After 9 of us received our dishes, one person sat for a few minutes before we asked what was going on with his - turned out they forgot his order but did not apologize. It came out 10m later and was terrible. The Wok Squid with rice noodles was more of a flavorless soup than a stir-fried dish. Upon complaining to our waiter he gave a blank stare and then the woman who seemed to be a manger shrugged and said “that’s how we make it.” Half the table ordered the Provençale salad which is some grilled vegetables, lettuce with balsamic, sundried tomato tapenade, panisses (chickpea fritters), and pieces of toasted bread (the same bread untoasted was set on the table concurrently). The dish was edible but forgettable and not worth the money. A different squid dish ordered was also declared bland. Thankfully we ordered three plates of French fries because people were hungry! After we finished coffees and paid the check I went back to ask the same woman if I could get some table water for my container (for my dog) and was told they were too busy to get me water. I then asked a young worker who was nice enough to help. When they ask you “C’etait bien?” just realize they really don’t give a F because there are plenty beach-goers and tourists who will fill in the next slot. Definitely do not recommend!

14/09/2025: The food is very good, the service is good, but unfortunately the main courses are much smaller in quantity, while the desserts are very substantial. €260+ for 6 people, which is quite expensive... I still recommend it.

19/01/2026: The service was adequate for the €17 set menu, which is misleading compared to the website's price of €15.80. As for the meal: the main course was dry ravioli with no flavor whatsoever; it seemed like that's all they had to serve us. Other tables were served much better, judging by the texture. The dessert was a tiramisu that was only 3 cm thick and 5 cm across, topped with nothing but cream. I know I was just passing through and not a regular. But I'm from Annecy.

24/12/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

04/12/2025: There was a change of ownership this summer and frankly, it's fantastic! Delicious food and amazing desserts! Highly recommended!
