The welcome is impeccable, a big thank you to Maxime and Moussa who know how to make each visit pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality and for creating such a friendly atmosphere every time! I also came at lunchtime and the experience was just as pleasant. A big thank you to Alexane for her attentive service and her smile which made this moment even more pleasant.

17/10/2025: Exceptional location, it's a shame that the managers don't have more consideration for their customers. Between the cleanliness that leaves something to be desired and the non-existent service, I, who used to come daily, no longer set foot there. And I haven't mentioned the lack of respect for people with disabilities, that would take too long!

26/01/2025: Go elsewhere, there are many other bars in Saintes. The waiters are rude, don't want to serve you and let you know it. The cuisine, once again better elsewhere for less money and a warmer atmosphere. Go on your way.

09/11/2025: Cet établissement est devenu une annexe d' Ehpad. Avec tout ce que cela suppose : ceux qui sont là ont l'air contraints et forcés, plats mauvais et chers, service infecte. Longtemps on y passait un moment agréable, c'est devenu un passage pénible. Pénible, mauvais et cher !

09/02/2026: I only had one drink. The waiter was friendly enough. The price was fair. The bathroom was clean enough. Nothing special. The atmosphere was typical of a Parisian bar on one of the city's busiest streets.

07/02/2026: Old-fashioned hot chocolate? Nothing old-fashioned about it. It was just runny chocolate. And they took forever to bring the bill; we had to ask for it three times.

17/02/2026: L’Avenue Paris carries much of the same polished, high energy atmosphere as Société, with a glamorous dining room that feels instantly recognisable and unmistakably Parisian. It is stylish, lively, and built around the experience as much as the cuisine. The overall feeling is similar in tone, with good food, strong wine offerings, and attentive, well trained staff who understand the rhythm of a busy, fashionable restaurant. Service is confident and present without feeling rushed, which keeps the mood enjoyable even when the room is full. That said, L’Avenue does lean slightly more international. On our visit, there were many American guests, and the atmosphere felt a touch more tourist driven compared to Société. For some, that cosmopolitan energy is part of the appeal. For others, it may feel a little less intimate or local. Still, the fundamentals are solid. The food is well executed, the setting is glamorous, and the overall experience delivers on what you expect from a well known Paris address. It is not necessarily groundbreaking, but it is consistently enjoyable and undeniably stylish.

15/02/2026: Ate here on Feb 15 2026. Two hours later my friend was vomiting. Half an hour later, I had diarrhea. We are 6 hours later and both our stomachs in knots. I’m visiting from New York and my stomach can handle things. There was clearly some contamination in the seafood I had there. Would avoid. Have not been this sick in years.

31/01/2026: This establishment was subject to administrative closure due to serious health and safety deficiencies. The business is currently for sale.

13/01/2026: I don't understand how people can give their opinions on an establishment that has been closed for over three and a half months now.
