16/06/2026: A big congratulations to the new manager! I came a few years ago under the previous management, and I was very disappointed that day (a tiny portion of food, a child's portion...) which led me to go to the nearest store to buy food...). Anyway, I came back some time ago after the change of ownership, and I realize I forgot to leave a review to highlight how much things have changed since the restaurant was taken over. The portions are now generous and sufficient, the prices are fair and consistent with what is served, and above all, the service is incomparable. The friendliness, professionalism, and atmosphere are 100 times better than before. There's really no comparison between the old and new restaurants. You can feel a genuine desire to do well and to please the customers. I sincerely wish this team much success. I also wish this restaurant a long life; it deserves its success ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/03/2026: Seasonal fruits and vegetables, a very attentive and professional vendor (I'll never forget the 100g of "damaged" blueberries he gave me). So, the luxury items are a bit pricey (go figure), but if you stick to the essentials, it's worth it. (For your wallet and your doctor's visit!)

29/06/2026: I used to be a regular at the Café de la Mairie. The waiters I'd ever dealt with were always very kind. But starting today, I won't be going back. Life in Paris feels like a holiday, and we've just had a heatwave. We left after ordering as usual, and they started harassing us because there were two of us plus a child, and we didn't know if the other person had paid. When I apologized to the manager, he told me to get lost, saying it was a big deal since I couldn't remember if I'd paid or not. Really? Isn't the very purpose of service to treat us with kindness and respect, even if we don't know if we've paid or not? Let's get back to basics: we're regulars. Rest assured, we weren't going to leave without paying! Outrageous!

01/06/2026: We've never been disappointed by Les 4 Arts restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience on Saturday was different. I found a piece of plastic in my avocado and crayfish tartare. I immediately pointed it out to the server, who told us she would take care of it. We expected some kind of response or gesture of goodwill, but in the end, only the bill arrived. We had to explain the situation again, but it didn't elicit any particular reaction. It's a real shame, because until now we'd always been satisfied with this restaurant.

20/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant, voted best brasserie bistro of 2026, so I went there out of curiosity. Located in Gaillac, not far from Toulouse, I had a wonderful time. I ordered an entrecôte, a very nice cut of meat, and everything was truly delicious. There's also a great selection of beers and wines, which is a real plus. The video projector and two televisions were showing the World Cup matches, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The beautiful setting, with its view of the square, really adds to the charm of the place. A very enjoyable experience at a highly recommended spot.

19/06/2026: A very good experience at La Bodega in Gaillac. The daily special was excellent, well-prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere of this brasserie/tapas bar is pleasant, with a nice terrace and efficient service. Good value for money and reservations are possible. A place to remember for a meal with friends or an evening out.

28/06/2026: Very nice, a quick and easy meal: a croque-monsieur with salad and a homemade burger, very good, quite generous portions with fries, and fast, pleasant, and relaxed service. They gave us a table in the shade without any trouble. It's a good place for a casual meal.

06/06/2026: Very friendly staff, good welcome despite our 3 medium-sized dogs and the mussels were excellent with a special mention for those with gorgonzola.

05/07/2026: It was probably very good, but we gave up after a 45-minute wait. We're talking about crepes here... (There were several of us in the same situation.) Message to the management of this establishment: When you don't have a cook, as was the case today on a Sunday, close the kitchen. You're putting your completely overwhelmed waitstaff in a difficult position, with the server relegated to the kitchen unable to meet the demand. (And that's perfectly understandable.)

28/05/2026: As a loyal customer, I want to express my immense disappointment with how my request was handled. I have two vouchers from returned products that I wanted to keep for building a wardrobe... I learned today that one of the vouchers (a card) has no expiry date, but the second (a receipt) does, and that date passed two months ago... I called and was told they won't do anything, that it's IKEA policy... I had a wardrobe project planned with you; it's my money, €170 after all! We don't have access to receipts or how they work. This is really unacceptable of you. Yes, I should have checked, but unforeseen circumstances mean we have other priorities before this wardrobe... Thanks, IKEA.

02/07/2026: Notice to management! We were very disappointed with our visit to your establishment. The service was slow, the dishes arrived lukewarm with small portions that did not meet our expectations. Finally, the requested cooking method (mix duo) was not followed, despite our clear instructions when ordering. Overall, a disappointing experience. We hope these points will be taken into account to improve the quality of service and food. Thank you for the coffee...

01/07/2026: We had a meal in the train carriage with our two grandsons, who really enjoyed the place and their burgers! The adult and children's menus were generous and well-prepared, offering good value for money. The service was quite quick and friendly; the young seasonal worker was smiling and very competent, even though it was her first day. We highly recommend it and will definitely return!

21/05/2026: I loved almost everything about my stay at the Novotel Le Havre. The staff was welcoming and always ready to meet my needs. The room was clean and the room service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good with a varied selection. My only issue was the room temperature, as there were no windows (I had a suite, with a door opening onto a balcony in the living area). It was 25°C in the room (I had a thermometer), much too hot to sleep. Around 19°C is recommended for a good night's sleep. I was informed that management doesn't turn on the air conditioning until the end of May. The staff, who unfortunately had no control over turning the air conditioning on, lent me a fan, which allowed me to cool the room when I was out by leaving the balcony door open, but I had to close it at night because of the noise from the street.

17/05/2026: Despite friendly staff, a good location, and comfortable bedding, we had a terrible night due to the stifling heat in the room. Contrary to what is stated on the hotel's information sheet, the air conditioning is completely unavailable (it was turned off because it wasn't hot enough outside, according to the receptionist), and the heat in the rooms is almost unbearable. Not what you'd expect from a 4-star Novotel in this respect.
