18/05/2026: We came this evening to celebrate our 5th anniversary together, and we had a wonderful time at Le Canard Royal ✨ The food was truly excellent from start to finish, with generous and beautifully prepared dishes. But beyond the meal, we especially loved the welcome: a warm, smiling, and genuinely pleasant team of servers. We were able to chat with them a bit at the end of our meal in a very friendly atmosphere, which made the evening even more special. A special mention also goes to the small glass of Armagnac offered at the end of the meal, a very much appreciated touch 😊 And a little inside joke: we found the restaurant thanks to ChatGPT… which gave them a good laugh 😄 In any case, thank you again for this lovely evening, we will gladly return!

The fish was fantastic cooked to perfection and the balance of the flavours demonstrates that the chef really loves fish. The service was impeccable with a wine list that was broad but not overwhelming. We have been going for several years now and today we thought it was the best meal to date! Thank you chef !

The setting is magnificent, with the option of having lunch at the foot of the vines in a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. The welcome is always warm and the staff is particularly attentive. Even our Corgi, Gimli, is delighted to accompany us on every visit! The cuisine is excellent, refined, and worthy of a gourmet restaurant, all while remaining reasonably priced. Special mention goes to the sommelier, Zoé, whom we greatly appreciate for her professionalism, kindness, and always spot-on recommendations to complement the dishes. Random mixes of sauces and flavors, "fried" potatoes swimming in oil, a burger where only the meat was recognizable, a warm, runny Saint-Marcellin cheese, salad left on the plate...! Well, the owner just arrived, let's give him some time, but to the happy customers giving 5/5, I'd like to say that it's not fair to the "Chef." He needs to know he has to make an effort and improve to last! So, patience.
