26/06/2026: What a wonderful night. The food was fabulous and the wine was divine. The service was absolutely outstanding. The owner was gracious in allowing me to practice my very basic French language without showing any sign of impatience. To top it off there was a jazz singer and her accompaniment who was superb and rounded out the night. It was truly a fantastic night and will be something we will remember forever.

14/06/2026: A pleasant restaurant with a refined atmosphere and decor. However, our experience was mixed in several respects. We arrived at 7:15 pm for a 7:30 pm reservation, but were asked to return in 15 minutes as the setup wasn't complete. In an establishment of this caliber, I would have appreciated being offered at least an aperitif on the terrace or in a designated area while we waited, rather than being asked to leave. We ended up having a drink elsewhere, which ultimately meant we returned 10 minutes late. I do want to highlight one positive point: the staff was understanding and accommodating regarding seating, agreeing to move us to a different table to avoid the upstairs area, as my father had a knee problem. On the other hand, we were very disappointed with the main course: a €120 ribeye steak ordered rare arrived somewhere between medium and overcooked. At this price point and in this type of establishment, it's simply unacceptable. In short: a pleasant setting and generally friendly service, but important details, particularly the initial welcome and the cooking of a premium cut of meat, deserve to be addressed.

11/07/2026: Fantastic lunch, the tuna carpaccio was divine! The monkfish was amazing, the langoustines were perfectly roasted, in short, everything was excellent, the welcome was simple and friendly, thank you for this moment!

21/06/2026: When we arrived one of the waitresses stated she spoke English, then proceeded to speak French every time she came to our table. Absolutely awful plate of food!! Roast pork was raw inside. When waitress came to get our not eaten plates and my husband complained she just looked at him. My husband wanted to pay the bill and leave without having dessert, but I said we will still have to pay the €40 set price. Dessert was edible but nothing special. When it came to paying the bill there was even an extra €7 for the water we had. €87 wasted and still hungry when we left. Disgusted look off waitresses as we left the restaurant, even though we paid without quibble. Don't waste you time and money. To be honest 1 star was way too much for Fleur de sel, but I could not post this review without putting it in.

15/06/2026: Highly recommended! The snails as a starter were delicious, and both the Boles de Picolat and the roast leg of lamb were a real treat. Plus, a beautiful view and truly friendly and attentive service.

14/06/2026: Hello, We came once before and wanted to return this month. Unfortunately, my husband was served first (grilled meat), and I had to wait 20 minutes for my meal... Despite the excellent food, we witnessed the owner's anger towards his employees from the terrace. On top of that, one employee kept complaining and sulking (her language needs improvement...). Aside from all that, the setting is very nice, but we were disappointed to have come all this way only to experience this atmosphere.

11/07/2026: I've ordered takeout from this restaurant several times, and the quality is always excellent. The dishes are delicious, generous, well-prepared, and always ready on time. The service is warm and the staff is very friendly. It's a real pleasure to order from here, and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

01/08/2026: Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular châteaux in the Loire Valley, the building itself, the quality of the collections, and its setting (gardens and forests) are all breathtaking. A little tip: it's best to book for the first few hours of opening to fully enjoy the tranquility of the château and gardens and avoid the influx of tourist buses that quickly make the place unbearable.

30/06/2026: We went here for dinner one evening in mid-June. The food was delicious, with generous portions and fair prices. The place was small but quaint. The woman who ran the place was incredibly kind and friendly. It was very hot those days, and we struggled a bit inside, but if you book in advance, there are tables outside. Highly recommended!

14/06/2026: We sat down, had coffee, and charged our phones. The employee's kindness and humility were amazing; she was very attentive. We thank her. If you're passing by, be sure to stop for coffee; they have excellent coffee and food. If you want to drink wine, this is the place to go.

11/07/2026: A superb culinary experience in a lush, green setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We're from the French Riviera but are already planning a weekend getaway and will gladly return to this restaurant.

21/06/2026: Excellent discovery! The place is very pleasant, the welcome is warm, and the service impeccable (quick, efficient, and attentive to customer satisfaction). The dishes (from the amuse-bouche to dessert) are an explosion of flavors, a delight for the taste buds. That day, we had tomato gazpacho with fresh goat cheese (ideal for counteracting the outside temperature), foie gras with brioche (a real treat), guinea fowl with morels (perfectly cooked with a smooth sauce), cod fillet with vegetables (a delicious combination of flavors), and an orange sponge cake with a variety of mousses (which wonderfully finished the meal). Highly recommended!
