02/11/2025: Bad experience: The main course was served before we had finished our appetizers, with no side dishes, just seafood and croque monsieur sandwiches. I found this completely disappointing. The croque monsieur was a large, bland piece of bread, the langoustine platter was meager, and the shrimp were mushy. The dessert of the day wasn't fresh; it came from a bakery, and the cheeses weren't local. A shame. In short, a tourist trap… Very disappointed…

30/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! The restaurant is truly located in the middle of nowhere, in the forest. The welcome was perfect, the waitress was smiling, and the restaurant was already quite full. We all ordered the €43 weekend set menu. A small amuse-bouche to whet our appetites, light and delicious. The starter, the crab shortbread with salmon gravlax, was a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. The avocado was slightly tangy, and the crab made it all sublime. The scallops were pan-seared to perfection. The polenta fries are a bit of a treat, but with the shellfish sauce, they're palatable. The tournedos was cooked to perfection, accompanied by potatoes and wild mushrooms—simply divine. The sweet touch to finish was the mango pavlova; it was light and delicate, just right. There was also a wide selection of cheeses. The decor is quite classic, in a guesthouse style.

27/01/2026: Three of us has a wonderful meal here two years ago and were anxious to return. We booked for four at 7PM, were quickly seated, ordered a bottle of red, our starters and mains. To the point: we were very disappointed as it was nothing like we remembered. A curt waiter blessed us with his service, a challenging well-done medium-rare steak and a chicken dish with good vegetables and a bird that fought off the knife. I have my doubts we will give it another go in two years.

07/02/2026: Simply the best crêperie in Redon! As soon as you walk through the door, the delicious aroma of butter and buckwheat greets you and sets the tone. The setting is rustic and warm, with a touch of humor even in the restroom decor, creating a very convivial atmosphere. On the plate: The quality of the ingredients is impeccable. I recently tried the Pear-Reblochon galette, an original and daring recipe that works wonderfully! The menu offers options for all tastes, and, a major plus, the staff are happy to modify the fillings with a smile (they even made me a sweet buckwheat galette). The service: The welcome is extremely friendly. Admittedly, there can be a bit of a wait during peak hours, but it's the perfect time to chat with friends or family. In any case, the result on your plate is well worth the extra wait! Excellent value for money for an authentic experience. Go for it!

We were welcomed and served by Quentin and appreciated his professionalism, dedication, passion for his work, and the quality of the conversation at the end of our meal. We were not previously familiar with this restaurant in the group. We highly recommend it and will return on our next trips to the region.
