02/07/2025: We came to celebrate my husband's birthday with our family (with our 3 daughters), and frankly, the atmosphere of the service ruined everything: We arrived, barely a hello, no smile, they pointed at the table and said 'that's the table of 5 over there!' I asked very nicely if we could go to the terrace (it's summer, so yes, it's still hot in the evenings, but not at all insurmountable! I was curtly told that no, it's closed!) Regarding drinks: nothing was offered, we had to wait 20 minutes for the wine list, which we had to request (otherwise we would have waited an hour!). We asked if there was an aperitif available: a timid, even unpleasant, response: "the aperitif of the day" (looking at us as if we were asking for something absurd) – while the other tables clearly had several options. Even with the main courses, not a word, no suggestion, no accompaniment. Even less a smile. Result: we had planned to surprise my husband, to give him his gifts, and we had brought a candle for his birthday dessert, but we didn't feel comfortable, we left even before dessert... Our daughters were disappointed, me Also... The food was good—I admit that—but with such an atmosphere...and such mediocre service...it ruins everything!

16/02/2026: The hotel is very well located in the city center, the staff are welcoming and very friendly, the rooms are very nice, we had dinner there on Valentine's Day and everything was excellent, the chef was top-notch, all for a reasonable price, and the breakfast was plentiful. In short, a highly recommended place to stay.

17/02/2026: We've been to Café des Halles three or four times now, and frankly, it deserves more like six out of five stars. For me, it's a small but perfectly fine dining establishment. However, it's not very spacious, so be sure to book ahead. The food is very good, original, and homemade (except for the bread).

15/02/2026: Fantastic place that I highly recommend and deserve to be better known. We had an exceptional Valentine's Day menu; I've rarely eaten so well. The chef and his wife are very friendly and enjoy chatting with their customers. I can't wait to go back.

14/12/2025: A stop in Loisy for the evening menu. Quite good value for money; you can tell the chef is dedicated to doing things well and adding a touch of modernity. However, two drawbacks, hence two stars deducted: the decor could use some streamlining to highlight what's truly worthwhile. And the website needs updating. The menu listed duck breast, but we ended up with rabbit leg. Naturally disappointing. Attentive service.

20/02/2026: Delicious, high-end cuisine for €34 for a starter/main course. Magnificent sea view. Lovely, unobtrusive staff. Just a 2-minute walk from the sculpted rocks. It's best to book in advance if you're going on the weekend.

17/02/2026: We came for lunch with friends in early January 2026. We left disappointed, apart from the view which must be a major factor in the price! The dining room was cold, and the staff wasn't up to scratch. They even had rice pudding for dessert on their menus! I find that unacceptable! We'll stay in St. Malo with a view of the Sillon beach, which is cheaper or equivalent, and above all, offers better service.

18/12/2025: They act like they own the place in a village that, yes, is beautiful, but they seem very unwilling to serve you because I think 1:25 pm is still lunchtime in France. You could go to another place, a bistro also at the top of the village, where both the service and the food are excellent.

01/03/2026: The place is small, with a warm atmosphere, but I don't think the value for money is the best. The food was tasty, but I expected more. I didn't eat anything different or innovative. I found it very expensive for what it is. We paid €70 for just two regular dishes and a small (very small) appetizer. We had a 50% discount through The Fork, and even then, we paid €70 without drinks or dessert. Crazy.

03/02/2026: We went to the restaurant one evening for dinner. We found it to be an intimate and well-appointed space. The staff was welcoming, polite, precise, and helpful. They treated us truly well. Special mention for the dessert, which was delicious.
