03/10/2026: I was very warmly welcomed and the service was excellent, but I was told to hurry up and order desserts because there were 15 people to serve after me. Sorry, but that's not very customer-friendly; I was a little disappointed.

30/09/2026: Good evening, I had dinner tonight with my son at a good quality buffet. I wanted to highlight the friendliness and exceptional kindness of the restaurant staff towards my son, Côme, namely David, Désirée, and the third person who gave my son the Halloween sticker (I didn't see their name on their badge). We were treated like royalty. It's quite rare to see this level of service, and I felt I had to at least mention it for these three people. So thank you, because the park experience and the hotel experience matter, even when you're 8 years old.

22/08/2026: There were 10 of us who went to enjoy the mussels and fries on Friday evening, and we weren't disappointed. The portions were generous, both mussels and fries. The desserts were varied and delicious. We had a reservation, and our table was ready, so there was no wait. The appetizers, mussels and fries, and desserts were served without much of a wait either. Everything was perfect. An excellent evening. The welcome was warm, and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you to the team at L'Escale Verte.

22/10/2026: I bought a chicken sandwich, which tasted great and was quite filling. It cost 5.3 euros. The only downside was that the lady who received the sandwich didn't speak much English, but she could use gestures.

08/09/2026: The kebab meat was overcooked and tough. The crème caramel brûlée was very expensive.

22/08/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant. I ordered the fish, rice, and ratatouille, which was very good, however, there was only a tablespoon of rice. I asked if it would be possible to have a little more; that was the portion size, and if you wanted more, it would be an extra charge. On the other hand, my husband ordered a disgusting poltevesh with a sour taste. We informed the waitress, but she didn't respond! I really don't recommend this place; we were very disappointed with our evening. Avoid it!

Overwhelming service, mediocre food considering the price, the waiter chases you around to take your payment with his credit card machine, removes your glasses and gives you festival cups after 10:30 pm... in short, a very bad experience for celebrating with friends...

27/09/2026: We celebrated our civil wedding here with about thirty guests, and the evening was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable: the entire team was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. A huge thank you especially to Émile, who was so helpful and kind in organizing the event. The meal was excellent, the cocktails delicious, and the music made the evening even more festive. All our guests were delighted, and we received nothing but compliments on the venue, the quality of service, and the food. Thank you to the whole team for helping make this day so special. We will definitely be back! 💛

03/10/2026: There are two gluten-free options on the menu, both sweet. We had a sort of "healthy" dark chocolate bar with an almond flour base, peanut butter, and a chocolate topping. It was good. A cortado was €2.90. A bit pricey, but the service was good, and it was the only gluten-free place we found open in the afternoon (at 4 pm; this place closed at 6:30 pm). The place is nice, and the service was friendly.

01/06/2026: ⭐ Overall rating: 7.5/10 A great find! This African restaurant in Lyon was a wonderful discovery. I had a lovely time and, most importantly, a delicious meal. The portions were generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared. Special mention goes to the chicken: perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and, most importantly, not dry, which is often a weak point in this type of dish. The side dishes were also excellent, with well-balanced flavors. A minor drawback was the sweet potato fries, which were unavailable during my visit. Apparently, they had been out of stock for several days. This is a bit of a shame, as they are often a popular side dish, and sweet potatoes are generally quite easy to find. As for the ambiance, the terrace is perfect for enjoying the nice weather, which is very pleasant. However, it has limited seating and opens directly onto the street. Inside, the space is adequate, but it was quite warm during my visit, with noticeable cooking smells. Air conditioning or better ventilation would significantly improve customer comfort. The service also deserves a mention. The woman single-handedly manages the kitchen, reception, service, and payments. Despite this heavy workload, she remains cheerful and does her best to satisfy customers. This can sometimes lead to a slight wait, but it's understandable. My ratings: * Reception: 8/10 * Food: 8/10 * Value for money: 8/10 * Cleanliness: 7/10 * Atmosphere and comfort: 7/10 In short, this is a place worth discovering for the quality of its cuisine and its authentic flavors. 30/05/2026: We just left this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked, and the service was quick. For dessert, we had degué… It was also very good! Honestly, a great place, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Lyon. Thank you for everything! ☺️🙏

27/10/2026: Everything was great! There were 15 of us, and we had booked at the same time as another group. When we arrived, the confusion was obvious, and "our seats" had been taken by the other group... But the responsiveness and quality of the service more than made up for it. Two minutes later, we were all seated! As for the restaurant's atmosphere, we were in the basement, and it was very cozy despite the lively conversation! Finally, I didn't taste my dining companions' dishes, but since everything disappeared from their plates, I have my suspicions. As for my own dish (a tarte flambée), I found it excellent, a good size, and perfect value for money! Thank you to the staff, it was perfect!!!

24/07/2026: A completely lost and incompetent waitress. We had to ask her to come after a 25-minute wait because we realized that orders from customers who arrived after us were being taken. The food finally arrived. The fries I ordered with my carpaccio were missing. I asked her, and she replied, "Oh, I forgot, I'll be right back." I'm still waiting for them. As for the carpaccio, it was poorly seasoned: a few slices with a drizzle of sunflower oil and three lettuce leaves. In short, I'm hungry.

24/09/2026: Visiting Cassis as a family this summer, we had trouble choosing a restaurant, as the prices at some were way out of our budget. Le Mistral seemed like a good compromise... We ate well, and the waiters and waitresses were very pleasant. There were five of us, and one of the dishes was forgotten, so our daughter got hers when the four of us had almost finished. The manager immediately offered to pay for our soft drinks, which I thought was very kind and professional. Even so, I wasn't expecting the bill when it came time to pay, especially without the four soft drinks. For five of us (3 burgers, 2 pizzas, 4 desserts, and a beer), it came to €165... That's an average of €33 per person without drinks for a typical restaurant... (for example, the bacon burger, you can see the 2020 price on their Facebook page; it was €16.90 then, it's now €22.90). You're definitely paying for eating on the Port of Cassis... But I really want to emphasize how friendly the team is!
