18/02/2026: We visited Venus as a couple without a reservation and received excellent service and a warm welcome. I highly recommend them.

25/05/2026: On a business trip, I stayed at this quiet and charming establishment on the banks of the Belleville-sur-Loire canal. The price-quality ratio is reasonable. The welcome was very warm and the meals were delicious.

15/05/2026: Bring a few extra jackets as it's very cold in the rooms. The heating doesn't work, but the lady doesn't understand why, so bring a heater as well.

08/05/2026: A beautiful, family-run hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Dinner was outstanding. Thank you!

29/04/2026: The reception was very beautiful and well-decorated; the lady was very welcoming.

17/05/2026: The setting and rooms are still excellent, but the restaurant service has lost variety and quality. Just two years ago, you could enjoy a delicious Pad Thai at the bar, or other dishes at a great price. This dining option seems to have been discontinued, and in the evening, the only remaining option is the very expensive Les Vignes restaurant. This forced us to look for other dining options outside the hotel. It's a shame, as this was a real plus before.

21/04/2026: A superb place where you feel instantly at ease the moment you step inside, enveloped in a cocoon. The entire property exudes a sense of tranquility and well-being... Everything is simply perfect... From the décor and the room to the bedding, the breakfast, and the magnificent spa... A place to discover and rediscover at length.

21/07/2026: A wonderful discovery after seeing the managers of this establishment on TV following the Fontainebleau forest fire. We wanted to support struggling businesses with this outdoor meal and a few purchases in the town center.

21/07/2026: We ordered a set menu featuring local cuisine. Nothing exceptional... but we spent almost two hours at the table. I'm not a culinary expert, but it's a menu that I don't think requires any last-minute preparation... and the restaurant was far from full.

03/06/2026: The hotel is alright, but my rating reflects the quality/price ratio for a 3-star hotel in a small town. The hotel is well-located, with a nice restaurant, but a bit pricey compared to what you can find in Monceaux. The service was average (no ATM for late-night needs). As for the room, a huge disappointment. When booking, there's no mention of whether some rooms have air conditioning and others don't. For €90: - No air conditioning (just a fan...) - Tiny bathroom - No power outlet near the bed or desk for working. The only outlet is under the radiator, practically on the floor (handy for a spare fan...). They offer you an extension cord to cross the room... very stylish. This hotel doesn't justify its price and deserves a 2-star rating, not 3.

30/05/2026: Our superior room was very nice specially with aircon BUT very strange that a double room with two occupants only had one small towel and one large towel! Dinner was ok, nothing special and overpriced and understaffed! Breakfast was ok but no croissants as we got there “late” Free car park

20/07/2026: The staff is VERY friendly, and the food is excellent. A great place to know and eat for people passing through. And the value for money is incredible.

09/07/2026: Everything was great, we just had to wait a long time for a table, but it was worth it. Beautiful place, good food, and a charismatic waiter!

The food was delicious and well-prepared. We had a wonderful day at this restaurant and have very fond memories of it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a good meal.

25/07/2026: We had a great time! But the wait... phew! Nine tables, three servers. I got a 25cl glass of Picon (50cl) instead. I got ice cream without whipped cream. The tie-break is nowhere near over.

22/07/2026: We ordered a cold buffet for 37 people last weekend, and everything was perfect. The welcome, the advice, the availability, the delivery, and the buffet itself were all excellent. All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much to the whole team! Highly recommended!

17/06/2026: I loved the singers, it reminded me of my youth, and the meal was good.

14/06/2026: Meal organized by an association. The service was far too slow and very poorly organized. The meal... what can I say? The starter was surely frozen, overheated, and hard to cut and eat. The tournedos were practically raw, served with string—it's the first time I've ever seen this presentation in a restaurant. The foie gras was pan-fried and undercooked. All of this was served with three asparagus spears. And the gratin dauphinois was completely cold. The dessert was equally disappointing; I don't think they're equipped to handle large meals. It's a shame because it's a beautiful place.

07/07/2026: We went to there at around 19:00, they were all drinking beer or coffee. We ordered two dishes, one was chicken and one was beef tata, but the boss was very kind person, he smiled for servicing us every time. I will choose their restaurant near Cannes beaches, even the food were just like that.

25/06/2026: At 1:30 PM, I went in and asked for a coffee. They don't serve coffee... It's a brasserie, café, and restaurant.

15/07/2026: We had a lovely meal here. My wife and I are on holiday from England and we enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. It's opposite the train station, which was ideal, not too expensive, and the food was delicious.

14/07/2026: Dinner last night on the terrace. Pleasant. Friendly and quick service. Reasonable bill, I recommend it.

22/07/2026: We wanted to get a drink around 11:30 am and found a sign saying there was no service because the staff were having a crazy lunch 🙃 Also, the new owners really need to clean up the photos because the food doesn't look anything like that anymore since they took over the place
