22/04/2026: Unbeatable value for money, breathtaking view. I stop here every time I'm in the area for work. I'm quite shocked by the nastiness of some of the comments. I regularly stay in Logis hotels for work, and I can say that this one is among my favorites!

18/03/2026: Excellent 3-star inn, which I highly recommend. It's in a very pleasant setting, far from the hustle and bustle of Toulouse, yet so close (30km). A complete change of scenery. The restaurant is of high quality, and the staff are very attentive. I had a wonderful night's sleep there after a long journey. The spacious room is tastefully decorated. I would gladly return on my next trip to the region. I recommend it.

26/09/2026: The place is very noisy, the bass is way too loud. You can't really hear the music as a result.

28/08/2026: Nice place but a bit overpriced.

13/05/2026: Lunch. A single meal: steak, salad, and fries. The steak was rather difficult to eat without chewing thoroughly. The salad was uninteresting, and the frozen fries were floury and simply not very good. Dessert was even worse, with profiteroles whose choux pastry was several days old and grainy ice cream. The "gourmet" plate was anything but gourmet, consisting of a fruit salad that would have been sufficient, but the accompaniments were two hard, slightly stale mini muffins, a waffle identical to the muffins, and a bland, uninteresting cookie. In short, we won't be returning.

02/09/2026: I ordered the royal couscous. And it truly was royal. The waiter was smiling, attentive, and very professional. The music set a great atmosphere.

26/08/2026: Hello, we went to lunch at this restaurant and were sick all afternoon. €27.50 for carrots and zucchini full of seeds, very tough leg of lamb kebabs, and cheap merguez sausages. This establishment should be avoided; I plan to report it.

04/08/2026: With a little salad? With a dollop of whipped cream? And some cider? Be warned, each salad leaf will cost you an extra 2 euros! The tattooed guy with blue eyes is putting a bit—too much—pressure on you to choose quickly! The waitress is much calmer and more attentive to the customer, thank you to her. The food is very good, although I'm still looking for the port in the port fondue. The setting is great, and if you want to eat on the terrace, you should possibly book the day before.

02/08/2026: Very bucolic setting and relaxed atmosphere

02/11/2026: (Initial info: This is a new owner since May 27, 2026, so previous reviews do not reflect the current one.) We booked this restaurant for a small birthday celebration on a Saturday at lunchtime. The setting is beautiful, but one of the two waiters was unpleasant, which spoiled the experience. Unfortunately, two out of six of us became ill after the meal (vomiting and diarrhea), the only two who ate the velouté with the poached egg. These two people don't live together and hadn't seen each other for over a month. The owner mentioned gastroenteritis. Indeed, there was no medical advice given that Sunday, but diarrhea appearing just a few hours after the meal and resolving in less than 24 hours for two people at the same time seems more like food poisoning (although I wish I had an immune system capable of recovering so quickly from gastroenteritis!).

01/11/2026: There were six of us for lunch on October 31, 2026. I hadn't planned on leaving a review, especially regarding the waiter's poor interpersonal skills (he was left-handed and wore a blue shirt). However, two of our guests spent the following night in the restroom (diarrhea and vomiting). The only dish they ordered, and they were the only ones at our table, was the cream soup with a poached egg. They haven't eaten together in over a month ;-) Therefore, I don't recommend this restaurant, even though the view is indeed magnificent. The owner's lack of restraint compels me to respond (one last time). No, they don't live together; please reread my initial review. Furthermore, everything written there is factual. Your lack of restraint and the content of your response confirm your poor interpersonal skills. And please reread the symptoms of food poisoning, because clearly you're no better at medicine than you are at running a restaurant. I confirm, I will never set foot in your establishment again. A word to the wise.

13/10/2026: A place discovered by chance, offering delicious food and a very warm welcome from the manager in a lovely setting in the heart of the village of Montertelot! That was all it took to delight our taste buds, and to enjoy a meal near the canal. I encourage you to discover this village restaurant.

13/08/2026: First time there, we didn't know how the place worked. We were told to choose a table and wait. It would have been great if they'd told us the appetizers were self-service 😅 The appetizer was good, but the portion was small. For water, they gave us the half-empty bottle from the next table. Regarding bread, they told us to go cut our own, which we did. The main course was very good ☺️ and the dessert was nice too, and we were told it was self-service. Perhaps one waitress isn't enough. We left with the feeling that we hadn't really been to a proper restaurant. Nothing too serious, but maybe a few adjustments are in order. Nice setting for a meal.

23/07/2026: Exceptional pizzas!!! The best in Pau. Friendly couple. It's a real shame the Google opening hours are wrong... I've gone three times during opening hours and found the door closed :/

06/10/2026: The service was a bit slow between the starter and the main course. I wasn't thrilled with the sea bream terrine. The salmon steak with béarnaise sauce was good but basic. The nougat ice cream wasn't great, but the red berry coulis went very well with it. The service was perfect.

27/09/2026: Suggestion at €22: Whole fresh sea bass with excellent ratatouille, homemade flan, and coffee. Simple and delicious, we'll be back. Thank you.

24/09/2026: Simple but very good dishes. Quick service, friendly waiters. Reasonable prices.

31/10/2026: A friend and I came in for coffee. Our first surprise: a sign advertising crepes, so I simply asked the waitress if they made them. Her response: "No, we don't make crepes." In a particularly haughty tone. I pointed out that there was indeed a sign advertising them, and she replied, still as politely as ever: "No, we don't have crepes." Very well, thank you for such a warm welcome! As for the drinks, the coffee was cold, the latte was far from perfect, and let's not even mention the cappuccino. No cocoa powder available, no real milk foam, just runny milk, even though the machine is supposed to be able to make it. In short: an unpleasant welcome, unfriendly staff, and subpar drinks. Perhaps it would be wise to review the service, the menu, and the quality of the drinks offered. We won't be back.

23/10/2026: Despite having made a reservation in advance, the restaurant was closed in the evening.

18/10/2026: Average welcome, average staff. Several things displeased us. The Surcouf cocktail was simply orange juice with flavorless foie gras, cold and dry eel without sauce, and onion beurre blanc. The pike-perch and garnishes were cold. The service was too slow; we left without ordering dessert. The price seemed very excessive at 43 euros, even without alcohol. Look elsewhere...

04/10/2026: To begin with. An exceptional location on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal. Secondly, the food was excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. Finally, the welcome and service were top-notch, and if we're in the area, we'll definitely be back.

25/05/2026: A warm welcome, a charming hotel with beautiful retro decor linked to the history of marble quarrying; what a treat to have breakfast in the shaded park. We highly recommend it.
