11/07/2026: A truly wonderful restaurant in the capital of Périgord. On this Tour de France day, despite the crowds, the service was impeccable and friendly. Original dishes and very reasonable prices. Well done to the team!

01/06/2026: On Sunday, May 31st, I came with my family for lunch. Having made a reservation, I was lucky enough to be seated on the walkway near the window with a view of the English Channel. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the service impeccable. The bill was reasonable at €138.50 for three adults, including aperitifs and rosé wine. They even offered a rose for Mother's Day. It's a shame that the Côté Sud restaurant at the casino hotel is closed on Sundays at lunchtime. I find the cuisine there to be far superior to La Passerelle (though it doesn't have a view of the Channel).

28/07/2026: Horrible. The food was awful and the service was TERRIBLE!!! They yell at you and treat you badly. A place only for unsuspecting tourists who stumble upon it without looking at the restaurant guides. NEVER AGAIN!! And on top of that, it's expensive and terrible.

26/05/2026: A motel-style room in the garden was available for rent: clean and pleasant, comfortable bedding, mosquito nets on the shutters, and a small bathroom with a shower and toilet. The major pluses were the swimming pool in the garden with sun loungers, the peaceful atmosphere, and the very friendly and welcoming staff. Lunch and dinner are available on-site (restaurant). Breakfast is generous and can be enjoyed on the terrace. For those arriving by car: parking is available. For those arriving on foot, it takes about 40 minutes from Arles train station and 25-30 minutes from the historic center of Arles. Keep in mind that once you leave the city center of Arles, there isn't much to see along the way. The nearby Beauchamp marsh is also worth a visit and is very pleasant for a walk.

12/05/2026: The hotel is very clean and the staff are especially lovely! It's located outside the city, which makes it very quiet, but at the same time, it's close to the city center, allowing easy access to amenities. It also has a very pleasant and peaceful outdoor area.

02/05/2026: During a business trip to choose a venue for a company party, we discovered this elegant and charming establishment. We received a very warm welcome, even though we hadn't made an appointment or even given any prior notice! In short: 1) A beautifully maintained, rural setting with carefully arranged vegetation that creates an immediate sense of tranquility. 2) An interior decor that is both rustic and refined. 3) A surprising meeting or function room with immense glass roofs, the center of which features a venerable tree growing through the floor and ceiling—truly astonishing and rare. 4) Gardens with expansive lawns surrounding tranquil ponds. 5) Ample parking for a large number of vehicles. It's clear: a perfect venue for successful meetings. (We learned that many weddings are held there—no surprise there!)

12/06/2026: I had lunch at the Mercure Hotel in Roubaix, at the Le Vieil Abreuvoir restaurant. On the menu: homemade iced tea and pasta with chorizo. Everything was delicious! The portions are very generous, and the staff is particularly welcoming, attentive, and takes great care of their customers. The menu is varied, with a selection of dishes and desserts that changes weekly. An excellent reason to come back regularly! I highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant time and a wonderful culinary experience.

06/06/2026: I came for lunch with my daughter on a weekday. The setting is magnificent, in a charming hotel. Lunch was excellent and the staff were very attentive. A great place to remember in Roubaix 👍🏻

05/04/2026: It's hard to find a good restaurant in this area. Maya was a pleasant surprise. The daily special (veal for Easter) was quite good. The dessert was acceptable. The coffee wasn't great. The setting, with its green outdoor area, could be quite appealing in good weather.

06/06/2026: Very old hotel with toilets on the landing at the very end of a corridor. Very small room with a foul odor. Shower in the room with no door to separate them. The staff is very unfriendly. I absolutely do not recommend it; avoid it at all costs!

20/07/2026: Disappointed by the salad, which was small for the price, the soggy sandwich, and the pastries that tasted a bit artificial.

12/07/2026: I don't recommend it. The welcome was polite, but bordering on unpleasant. There was no menu for the bar, so you don't know what you can drink or how much it will cost. The service was really mediocre, and the attitude was unprofessional. I won't be back.

29/06/2026: Horrible. Warm welcome. We were with our dog and they seated us on the terrace, at narrow tables that were very hot. There were empty tables inside the restaurant and on a lovely, cool interior terrace. I asked to change tables, and they told me that the tables on the interior terrace were for four. A little while later, a couple arrived with a dog and went inside the restaurant. We felt completely discriminated against. Twenty minutes had passed, and we were very lucky that they hadn't asked us to come yet, so we left. Thankfully, because that allowed us to go to a restaurant in the first village we found that wasn't touristy at all. They treated us and our dog very kindly, and we had a wonderful meal.

20/02/2026: Lunch today at La Porte Haute in Sarre-Union, and frankly, a very good experience. Generous and high-quality cuisine: perfectly cooked escalope in cream sauce, golden fries, a delicious dessert with ice cream and whipped cream, and a good coffee to finish. A special mention also goes to the simple but satisfying starter. Pleasant, quick, and professional service. A friendly atmosphere; you feel right at home. A reliable spot in Sarre-Union; I'll definitely be back.

31/05/2026: The blue-eyed gentleman at reception was very rude and spoke to me disrespectfully. I went into the lounge and asked for a cake on the day of PSG's victory. He then started shouting and insulting me. He made shocking and discriminatory remarks, particularly towards Arabs. I was very surprised and shocked by his behavior.
