The dish was beautifully presented...and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Original and creative menu options.
05/12/2025: I had heard a lot about this restaurant, so we decided to try it. The menu is simple, the dishes are homemade and beautifully presented, and the welcome and service are impeccable.
However, I personally found the dishes a bit too greasy, with a combination of flavors that made the whole thing rather heavy. It's well-executed, but too rich for my taste.

30/11/2025: Pleasant surroundings, the decor is Alsatian-style, giving the impression of being at the Pulversheim open-air museum.
The service was impeccable.
The prices are quite high, as is typical of establishments aiming for a certain level of prestige.
This rediscovery has finally reconciled us with the restaurant and its cuisine. Thank you to the entire team at Le Vieux Pressoir.
12/11/2025: Disappointed. The breadsticks were stale, the dishes tasteless, the snail and porcini mushroom tartlet (canned?), the overcooked poultry, and the duck tartare, while well-prepared, was accompanied by a multitude of incomprehensible accompaniments—an incomprehensible combination. The chef must not be on a Monday. This quality at this price is exorbitant.

08/09/2024: A meal taken in a magnificent August setting. But very very very long service, to the point that we did not have dessert. We had each chosen an entry, we were brought two identical entries. Then I asked for a rump steak with fries and it was served in the middle of a sauce that tasted like nothing. I ask what it is and he tells me it's the duck with blueberry sauce that I asked for. Never again never again....

23/09/2024: quelle belle découverte ! c'est tout à fait par hasard que nous avons poussé la porte du restaurant, très belle expérience culinaire et humaine, excellente cuisine, très bons vins; nous sommes retournés une seconde fois pour déguster le cassoulet maison... excellent. Les échanges avec le cuisinier et le personnel ont été également de bons moments. ALLEZ Y !!! Le cuisinier est un passionné de rugby !

27/09/2024: Came here as a party of 6 on a very rainy night without a reservation. The team were wonderful in getting us seated under a set of umbrellas. One noticed we were getting dropped on and kindly moved us without us even asking. The service and food were both amazing! We even contemplated going back the next night.
When we're back in Avignon, we will definitely return here!
