29/09/2024: Unpretentious restaurant at the end of the world but away from the crowds. Justified reputation for the delicious lobster cauldron: 3 for 2 people! No room for dessert. Efficient, friendly and attentive service. Open from March to the end of September but worth the detour!

19/08/2024: We booked one evening for two people, the welcome was very good. The food is excellent, you can feel the quality of the products (burrata) and the work of the dishes (starter + snacked tuna and ocean salad). We had a pleasant time, except for one BIG detail. We arrived at 8:15 p.m. and were served quickly with regards to starters and drinks. Then, we waited for our dish until 9:50 p.m., more than 1 hour and 20 minutes after the end of our starter (we had ordered everything at the same time). Most of the customers this evening (a Thursday during the week) had a long wait, but not to that extent. We were disappointed by the staff's reaction when paying the bill: "sorry for the wait". Clearer explanations, a little more concern or a commercial gesture would have been appreciated. The cook was alone, so there may be a delay, but the least we can do is warn the customer in advance that there will be significant delays. Help can be provided in the kitchen by the team if the cook is not coping but doing nothing is not professional... Despite everything, we had a pleasant time, we were offered blankets (as the night was getting cold). We will come back, hoping this time not to be forgotten or not to wait more than 1 hour 20 minutes at the risk of losing customers...

18/08/2024: Nice place in Fronsac . By the road , but terrace at the back . Food freshly prepared . Starters / desserts €8/10 , mains €16/19 , plat du jour €24 . Service was prompt and friendly . I would recommend.

02/08/2024: Firstly, I would like to say that the restaurant owner is brilliant. We came with two young children (1 and 5) and he was so helpful and accommodating. Secondly, the food is fantastic and the wine great value. Kids meals were great too. The setting - fantastic. So pretty and peaceful and even on a scorching day felt cool in the shade. I think booking might be essential in the summer - we went on a Tuesday lunchtime and it was full. Overall a brilliant experience for all of our family - aged 1 to 67.
