04/02/2026: I went twice in three days, that alone says everything. This is one of those small Parisian restaurants that feels instantly right. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm, and refreshingly unpretentious. You feel welcome the moment you walk in. The service is funny, genuinely helpful, and human in the best way, attentive without ever being stiff. The food is excellent in its simplicity. No unnecessary theatrics, just very well-executed dishes. The meat, in particular, was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and clearly treated with respect. And all of this at prices that feel more than fair for the quality. For such a small place, the wine list is a real surprise: well curated, interesting, and full of personality, with bottles you don’t see everywhere. A place you go once and immediately want to return to. Paris at its best.

25/01/2026: We looked at lots of reviews to find a great steak frites restaurant for lunch in Paris and we’re so happy that we didn’t choose the usual tourist spots (with long queues!). We chose this restaurant because it was small, authentic and serves amazing steaks! Our waiter was really helpful and spent time with us discussing our choices of steak and wine. Our meal was 10/10! We’ve not had such a beautifully cooked and tender steak (rec the angus rump) in ages and the frites were so tasty. Not busy and no rushing…We stayed for 2 hours and felt very chilled and happy.

24/02/2026: It took me a year to write my review because I was so disappointed, and besides, I didn't want to write it in the heat of the moment! I don't know where to begin; My chair was so wobbly I was afraid it would fall apart. The table was so small I couldn't have served two coffees on it, so eating for two was a real ordeal. The chicken we both ordered wasn't dry, and for good reason: it was undercooked, red, pink inside. The waiter who didn't look at us and didn't come by didn't help either. After persistent staring, another waiter finally came to take care of us and sent the dishes back to be cooked. I've been hearing about La Tour d'Argent since I was a child, so when I saw that the rotisserie, which is much more affordable, was available for reservations during a rare trip to Paris, I went with enthusiasm and pleasure. What a disappointment! Perhaps I should have come in a three-piece suit, like my table neighbor (a wealthy American accompanied by a very young woman) who was given two tables by default! When it came time to pay, the fact that they didn't look me in the eye and didn't even ask if "everything was alright" speaks volumes! The next day we went to Bouillon Chartier opposite the Gare de l'Est. For a third of the bill, we were delighted. It was good, quick, and all served with a smile! We will most certainly return. 26/02/2026: I love this place. The setting, the location, the decor, the service, the menu—everything is there for a pleasant time, with the ambiance of a Parisian brasserie and the warmth of Béarn! A special mention to our waiter, Jean-Daniel, a ray of sunshine (and incidentally, a very good waiter 😉). I highly recommend this brasserie!

25/02/2026: Excellent welcome, attentive and efficient servers. There were five of us, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes, each one as well served as the next. Excellent salads, very generous and fresh, meats equally generous and tender, and a little bonus: homemade fries👍. Desserts are the same, also homemade. In short, a very good brasserie on the Pau square, "shade and sun." I recommend it.👍😀

Each dish evoked emotion, perfectly complemented by expertly chosen wines. The atmosphere is intimate. 07/12/2025: Restaurant with typical French food; the service is very good and the food is tasty. The prices aren't outrageous, but they're not cheap either; we paid 46 Euros per person. Perhaps the service could be improved, as it was a little slow, although it's true the restaurant was full.

07/12/2025: I'm not judging the food, which we didn't get a chance to try, but the waiter (a rather tall gentleman) behaved in a condescending, impolite, and borderline indecent manner, even following us into the street and threatening us. He simply refused to seat us, claiming there was no room (we think we know the reason for his refusal, but I won't elaborate here). When we finally managed to make a reservation online, proving to him that there was indeed space, he didn't appreciate being challenged and became angry. In short, we left, and some customers in the street who witnessed the scene. They wanted to go in, but they turned back when they saw this man's attitude. We were very fortunate to find another restaurant nearby that was much warmer, more welcoming, and better!

21/02/2026: The food was okay, nothing special. Very basic cuisine; my dish was still cold in the center (probably cooked first, then refrigerated, and finally reheated in the oven). Despite the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the food, the price unfortunately doesn't reflect the quality of the meal. The staff was pleasant and attentive, but the manager seemed very tired; hopefully, he'll be feeling better soon.

17/02/2026: A must-visit in Pertuis, even on Sundays: a cozy setting, cuisine prepared with heart and dedication. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes homemade... a particular favorite is the roasted Camembert and the profiteroles. Enjoy the terrace under the plane trees in summer. A superb restaurant, a long-standing fixture in Pertuis: never disappointed, you'll have a wonderful time.
