And the team… what can I say? Everyone is lovely, smiling, welcoming, and attentive; it's rare to see so much kindness gathered in one place. The service is simply perfect. You can tell that everyone truly loves their work and does everything to ensure you have an exceptional experience. Always a kind word, always a smile, a genuine and contagious good humor. And in terms of quality, it's flawless. Everything is excellent, generous, beautifully presented; you can feel the care in every detail. Honestly, it's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful time. A huge congratulations to the entire team; you are truly the best. If you're in Tours and have never been, go without hesitation; you'll be treated like royalty. For me, it's clearly one of the best places in Tours! 👏✨

The cooking and presentation were perfect, as was the service, with the head waiter and servers all top-notch. A good wine list to suit all budgets. Highly recommended!

23/05/2026: I have mixed feelings about La Tonnelle's cuisine; while generous portions are sometimes offered, the flavor combinations are unexpected and not necessarily to everyone's taste. For example, the mixed fish platter was changed without any prior notice, neither on the menu (depending on availability) nor by the waitress. Otherwise, the setting on the port is pleasant, and the waitress was excellent.

09/05/2026: An exceptional place. Reservations are essential. The wood-fired oven is cooked to perfection. Seated at the tables facing the counter, I was able to witness every step of the process: the person in charge of the oven cooking, those preparing the side dishes, the plating, etc., and I saw the plates being prepared. The bone marrow is a must-try. On our plates, we enjoyed the butcher's cut and calf's liver, along with the cauliflower gratin. A real treat. The strawberries were superb. The whipped cream was delicious. The dishes are delicious and generous. Enjoy the photos and go experience it for yourself.
