23/04/2026: This was my first experience at Le Chapon Fin, and we were far from disappointed. My friend and I came one evening for the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and we left feeling satisfied and very happy with our meal. The flavors were varied, and the pairings were perfectly chosen. The dining room wasn't too noisy, and the decor was beautiful. The servers and sommelier took excellent care of us, and the head waiter was also very pleasant! The service was well-paced, with a detailed explanation of each course and dessert. A truly wonderful experience for us; we weren't disappointed at all, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the Chef, the Pastry Chef, and the entire team for this lovely evening.

21/04/2026: An extremely disappointing, not to say appalling, experience. We are accustomed to fine dining and Michelin-starred restaurants, but what we were offered here was unworthy of an establishment of this caliber. From the outset, the tone was set: rushed service where courses were served one after another without giving us a moment to breathe, making us feel like mere numbers to be dispensed with as quickly as possible. The lack of professionalism is blatant. Between a sommelier who doesn't know the wine list and has to call for backup, glasses clinking together during service, and a waiter constantly touching his hair before bringing plates, etiquette and hygiene leave much to be desired. Even more irritating, we felt we received preferential treatment, undoubtedly due to our young age: no attention was paid to my wife's and my napkins when we got up, unlike the neighboring tables, and wine was automatically poured into my glass without even asking who wanted a taste, even though my wife is the one who knows about wine. The "five-course" menu is a bad joke: including two starters and two desserts (the first of which is nothing more than an amuse-bouche) to inflate the menu is a dishonest practice given the price. Finally, the manager's behavior was the final straw. Instead of apologizing, he was condescending, getting lost in pointless justifications about the seating arrangements rather than listening to our complaints. No gesture, no consideration, just contempt. We left with the feeling that we had paid the price of a fine restaurant for the service of a neighborhood brasserie. Avoid at all costs.

20/04/2026: Upon arrival, you're immediately captivated by the charm of this small stone house, nestled among the vineyards overlooking the valley. Stepping into the dining room beneath this charming building, the view, the open bay windows, the warm welcome, and the overall atmosphere take your breath away. Then comes a succession of courses, each showcasing the artistry of a carefully crafted menu. All the ingredients are sourced from the lake or the region. And finally, everything is more than delicious and perfectly balanced... Thank you for this truly memorable experience.

18/04/2026: A truly magnificent meal at this wonderful establishment. The dishes were perfect, with incredible precision in the cooking and pairings. What a shame the rain obscured the view! The only very slight drawback might be the price difference, close to double digits, due to the vineyards located just a few hundred meters away... But a four-and-a-half-hour meal nonetheless, without a single dull moment. It was truly superb. Thank you for everything.

30/12/2025: A very pleasant evening with colleagues. The woman who greeted us was very pleasant and attentive. I was very pleasantly surprised by a young man, 17 years old, who displayed great professionalism. The presentation of the products was beautiful, and he was very well-groomed. Well done to him! The dishes were very interesting, not all to our taste, but all excellent.

30/03/2026: Excellent. The dishes are beautifully presented and quite generous without being heavy; they're flavorful, rich, and original. We even received a few complimentary desserts. All this at an affordable price. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

29/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The set menu and dessert were excellent, featuring delicious ingredients (especially the beef shepherd's pie with sweet potato purée). The service was impeccable, with smiles and genuine kindness – much appreciated! In my opinion, it offers excellent value for money and is a must-try on Rue Colbert.

07/04/2026: This was my first time at this restaurant, and I was immediately surprised by the dining room, where some tables weren't set, making the place rather unwelcoming. Furthermore, I found the menu rather limited, with very few choices. I ended up ordering a veal sweetbread vol-au-vent, which had very little sweetbread and a lot of mushrooms; the whole thing was quite mediocre and somewhat dried out. The service also needs improvement, as there was a complete lack of empathy that evening. Therefore, the value for money is poor, and I won't be returning, nor would I recommend it.
