09/05/2026: A step back in time to a small French village, the kind we wish we saw more often. The hotel rooms are magnificent, exactly as described on the website—no exaggeration, everything is authentic and beautiful, a haven within a haven. Ideal for couples and romantics.

04/05/2026: The restaurant's location...it's already breathtaking, this little village is so pretty. I had a wonderful time with my family celebrating my 40th birthday. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the food is flawless. The sauces accompanying the dishes are delicious, as are the side dishes, and the cooking is perfect. The chic vintage decor takes you away from the everyday; it's a feast for the eyes. I recommend it 10,000% if you're looking for a family-friendly, romantic setting with beautiful home-style cooking. 10/05/2026: I went to the terrace on a Saturday around 5 pm. The square was lively with the beautiful weather and quite crowded, but the terrace remained rather calm and very pleasant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had the homemade profiterole and it was delicious with the hot chocolate served at the table.

13/05/2026: A pretty good crêperie in the city center. The neighborhood is lively, and the restaurant is well located. We got a table without a reservation on a Saturday night. The savory crêpes were good, but I think they could have been more generously filled. So we ordered sweet crêpes. The caramelized apple crêpes were a bit too sweet, and the homemade frangipane crêpe was surprisingly runny. The sparkling apple juice was very good! The service is quick and friendly, so it's still a good place to eat.

17/05/2026: This modest sized restaurant feels very spacious inside due to the unusual white pine panelling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the ambience is relaxed. I started with the duo of foie gras de canard which was excellent! Two pieces were chilled slices and two pieces were grilled “crème brulée” with a layer of sugar on top. Most creative as the cooked foie gras becomes the ‘cream’ - brilliant! My main course was veal kidneys (always a treat in France as you never see them on the menu in England) in garlic and parsley butter. Also very good, though slightly spoiled by the fact that the garde manger forgot to wash the lettuce (lots of gravel crunching - not good). The bread here is fantastic! Everything I visit France for. Dessert was a novel take on tiramisu involving crème chantilly, apples and pineau des Charentes in place of coffee and Marsala. Not really a success, but a noble failure.
