23/07/2026: Just don't go here The building is tired and needs renovation. Paint flaking off the wall in communal areas and in the bedroom. The bedroom is small, the bathroom is fairly large, but dated. There is a sea view, but it is over a corrugated roof, and there was no direct access to the sea. Parking is difficult and the road outside is busy The description of the bedroom suggested it had a fridge and a microwave, but these are in a shared area outside the room, a dark, dingy dirty shared area. There was only one microwave, though we had our own fridge, great, except it wasn't working and was dripping water. We decided not to stay and the subsequent conversation with the owner (by telephone, they weren't present on the property) lived down to the standard of the building. She was not prepared to concede any of the points we made about the accommodation, insisting that everything was as described, she was not prepared to offer any refund despite us not using the room at all - I would have been happy to pay for the first night - but she was having none of it. Looking at previous poor reviews no doubt she will respond with a comment, but she has skin in the game, I'm just trying to warn people away from a substandard venue.

28/06/2026: The location is beautiful for some rooms, right on the waterfront. Unfortunately, the studio was nothing like the photos of the best rooms, and this was only mentioned after booking. The studio was dirty and practically uninhabitable: worms on the floor, dust everywhere, and unclean bedding. Very disappointing

26/08/2026: Questionable starter... Fresh vegetables???? Homemade fries were brown, some black: they weren't cooked properly! A shame, because the staff and owner were very friendly!

06/08/2026: We stumbled upon this bar during our vacation, while strolling through the beautiful town of Saint Savinien, and enjoyed spending several evenings there. We were always warmly welcomed. What I particularly liked was the convivial atmosphere; the people are friendly, and you're politely included as a guest. I highly recommend it! We'll definitely be back 😊

14/09/2026: The price is not in line with the quality of service

06/09/2026: We went there today, didn't have time to eat or drink, and after 20 minutes no one came to see us. We went to the bar, but the woman ignored us. We noticed that three tables were being served, but they seemed overwhelmed, not with enthusiasm for serving or welcoming customers. They were even forgetting the orders of tables that had already been served! We left! Don't waste your time or money, just let them close down for good!

25/10/2026: Since the bakery was bought by Talemelerie, the quality/price ratio has significantly decreased. It's still good bread, but more expensive. And above all, there are far fewer good specialty items, no good pastries like before. Their latest idea is to play the radio quite loudly, which is downright unpleasant...what a shame!

06/10/2026: As a customer for five years, I'm increasingly disappointed with the vegan selection, which has clearly deteriorated. The pain au chocolat tastes salty and is nowhere near as delicious as it used to be. The vegan pastry selection has practically disappeared, and the cookies now only offer two vegan options instead of five, and they've become far too sweet. It's a real shame, because the vegan selection used to be varied and high-quality. I hope you can return to offering more vegan choices and better flavors.

06/10/2026: At first glance, a charming little restaurant with seafood-focused cuisine and a warm, friendly welcome, the initial impression quickly fades upon arrival of the plates. The crayfish ravioli were utterly tasteless, served on completely unsuitable tableware, making elegant dining impossible. The fish skewers were clearly frozen and accompanied by industrial sauces. They could do better, but seemed surprised by the criticism; one doesn't become a restaurateur overnight, it takes skill!

20/09/2026: We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for two mussels marinière with fries. When we were finally served (after people who arrived after us), the mussels were barely cooked, the sauce was practically nonexistent (just a few raw onions), and the fries were poor quality frozen. We asked if they had forgotten about us... We were told that it happens! There was no gesture of goodwill on the bill, not even for the aperitif... One thing is for sure, we won't be back...

06/09/2026: Reading the comments, I thought, "Whoa!" Indeed, nothing is up-to-date with the opening hours. I went there on Sunday; I'd read it opened at 4 PM, and being in Biarritz, it's quite a drive, and it was closed. Pffft. On the way back, we went to the Col d'Ibardin, and there it was open. The man told me I had to take it out two hours beforehand. I said, "Really? That long?" And he said, "It's a freezer room." Ah, okay. So it defrosted nicely, and it's fine. But why does it cost €25? Stewed pears and crème brûlée aren't exactly expensive products.

11/08/2026: Probably unable to recover, and will never reopen in my opinion. Expenses, fees, and competition have surely taken their toll on this business.

03/08/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I gave you two stars, and even that's being generous... I'd often heard this bakery praised for its warm welcome and quality products... But what a disappointment it was when I went on Monday evening: a frosty reception, unfriendly saleswomen, and the feeling that I was bothering them when I asked questions about the products... Luckily, the bread was pretty good, but I don't think I'll be back.

03/06/2026: We spent two nights at this hotel, including breakfast and dinner. The room was very nice, the welcome was very friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent value for money. The dinner at €21.90 was superb. We absolutely don't understand some of the extremely negative and harsh reviews, which bear no resemblance to reality. We recommend this hotel.

18/04/2026: Everything was good. The room was clean, staff is friendly. The hotel has good location for late diner(Panda wok) and for great breakfast in nearest bakery.

13/09/2026: Hello, We came on a Sunday morning (market day) because we were drawn by a great band playing near your terrace. There were two of us; my friend ordered a coffee and I ordered a glass of water because it was hot. The café owner was not at all happy that I wasn't "ordering because of the band," so he insisted I order a coffee or a Perrier, but unfortunately for me, I don't like either coffee or sparkling water. The glass of water and the coffee were brought to our table with little enthusiasm… A few minutes later, he told us he hadn't taken our payment, which meant: please leave, you're taking up my table for nothing. When it came time to pay, my friend went to pay for his coffee by card because we had given our change to the band, who had been playing around the terrace. The owner grumbled about the card payment because he wanted cash and sighed. This is the first time we've ever been treated so badly. It's unacceptable service from a business owner. Note that the more you spend, the better the service you'll receive. A word of warning to customers thirsty for just a coffee and a mediocre glass of water: steer clear.
