21/06/2026: A family-run restaurant and bar with simple but tasty food. The prices are very reasonable. There's air conditioning inside, which is a welcome feature in hot weather. The staff is very friendly. Good value for money, I recommend it.

13/05/2026: Meal between two visits. 10-minute wait. Two ham and Emmental cheese sandwiches (very crispy bread and fillings provided) + one very good custard tart with shortcrust pastry and one red fruit crumble. We ate very well. I recommend it.

01/07/2026: I ordered a cake a few days in advance, only to be told after a 10-minute wait for no apparent reason before even looking for the cake, "We found the sticky note, but the cake isn't ready!" No apology or attempt to find a solution—completely unreliable!

29/06/2026: I bought a sandwich that was completely dry... I felt like I was eating a sandwich that had been left out in the open all day... and I also got a cookie, same impression, no taste at all... very disappointed.

18/08/2026: We ordered a single dish, it was very good, well seasoned, neat presentation, discreet and efficient service.

17/08/2026: Very good restaurant, the mussels and fries with Roquefort cheese were excellent, and the waiter's recommendation of the white wine was perfect. Good value for money. I recommend it.

18/05/2026: A dream within a dream. Metz has so many unique attractions to offer, not least this patisserie. The only downside is that dogs aren’t allowed in the café.

17/05/2026: Jokes about French waiters are no joke! The waitress with short black hair and glasses was aggressive and needed to calm down. Yesterday, she yelled at my mother and me and wanted us to leave. The whole restaurant turned to stare at us. It only stopped when my husband arrived with the receipt and confirmed that we had already ordered at the register. The atmosphere was ruined.

04/11/2026: Unacceptable! I came with my 1-year-old son, who was eating, and he dropped two rustic dishes on the floor. I picked them up, but small pieces remained. The cleaning staff is very unpleasant every time I come, but this time, this gentleman had the nerve to sigh when he saw the floor was barely dirty. He sighed once, I didn't say anything, and then he sighed a second time in my ear. So I told him not to sigh in front of me, knowing that it's my son and that if it bothered him, he should have waited until I left to sigh. Then he told me to shut my mouth, that the customer isn't always right, and told me to get out, all while insulting me. It's shameful and unacceptable for an employee to behave like that, especially since I picked up and cleared everything, even the little sauce wrappers that had fallen on the floor! This employee should be fired because he drives customers away, and on top of that, he cleans the tables very poorly.

02/11/2026: The service is terrible, no sauce with any drive-thru order. Frankly, it's outrageous.

11/10/2026: The atmosphere was full of wannabes, and the food was terrible.

11/10/2026: The hostesses are inhumane, little girls of 19 or 20 who disrespect the customers. It doesn't surprise me coming from the Costes group. Thanks to them, I'll never set foot in one of their restaurants again. The waitresses are cold, but at least they do their job without disrespecting the customers who pay a fortune for your disgusting food and poorly washed cutlery.

20/09/2026: Disappointing experience. Lesson learned: check Google reviews first... Slow and error-ridden service; the kitchen sends out whatever dishes they want if the daily special is unavailable without asking anyone; the seasonings are pathetic (salt and pepper are basic, after all); avoid the sirloin steak at all costs (the meat is tough). At €30 for the set menu, it's overpriced.

18/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery at Les Maraîchers in Rouen. The experience is captivating, both for the quality of the food and the attention to detail in the service. The team is exceptionally welcoming, kind, and attentive, with a real elegance in their hospitality. Here, every detail matters: even the simple act of pouring a glass of water is done with care and without haste (a small touch that speaks volumes about the restaurant's philosophy). The dishes are flavorful, refined, and generous, with excellent execution. The service, meanwhile, is exceptionally attentive, while remaining natural and warm. This is a place where they truly take the time to welcome their guests. A truly wonderful experience, which I wholeheartedly recommend. Unfortunately, I only photographed the appetizer, but I would have loved to share the main course as well, which deserved to be showcased just as much.

09/05/2026: Let's start with the positives. The starter was decent, nothing more. So we expected the rest of the meal to be equally decent. But the rest was nothing but a disappointment. The dishes were bland. The salmon was dry, swimming in sauce. The pot of mussels was half full of closed mussels. We still have our doubts about the freshness of these mussels… to be continued. Some of the industrial fries were barely cooked. Then, to top it all off, an industrial waffle, burnt on the bottom and paradoxically cold, so cold you could mistake it for cardboard. To top it all off, we were treated to slow, disinterested, and utterly inattentive service. We had to ask three times for a carafe of water from two different people, even though we had ordered drinks. The carafe of water arrived after the starters. There was an error on the bill, not a word, not an apology. And then they leave you waiting to pay without telling you that you have to get up and go pay at the bar.

27/05/2026: Despite previous guests' comments, you haven't changed your ways. Three nights in a dirty, unclean room. A nightmare! Is tourism your business? You should maintain your establishment! The breakfast was mass-produced! For the price, they're taking us for a ride. No air conditioning or fan in the attic. Brilliant! Luckily, the staff is friendly, which makes up for it somewhat, except for the fact that you should avoid cleaning the breakfast tables with the dustpan and brush used for the floor. Perhaps you haven't received any hygiene training?
