08/12/2024: An extraordinary discovery, the cuisine is fine and full of flavors, inventive, surprising. It’s the kind of table that makes you want to travel miles just to return. The setting is very warm and the menu price is more than reasonable for the quality and finesse of the dishes. Big plus for the vegetarian options as elaborate as the other dishes. We will come back and recommend!

08/12/2024: A lovely address, with a courageous young couple, who, I would like to point out, only run this restaurant with 2 people! Monsieur offers us his original, sought-after cuisine, concocted with a lot of passion! You can feel it on every plate! Out of the ordinary flavor combinations. Madame is attentive, gentle, smiling, welcoming,....The service is perfect! I warmly congratulate them! In respect of their customers, they have chosen to limit the number of place settings, in order to offer quality on the plate and in the service. Which has become rare now in restaurants! Keep it up! Really a shame because it’s good The presentation of the dessert needs to be reviewed, it looked like someone wanted to send me a message 😂 The waiting time was okay, I stayed an hour in total The prices are high, we're not going to lie, it's not a small village restaurant where everyone can go.

18/01/2025: The service does not match the food which is very good. The owners should look into this black point of their establishment after having discussed with other people who have visited this restaurant it is the service that is wrong.

26/01/2025: Table well located, next to the wine cellar. Very good meal, we appreciated the food/wine pairing option as well as the choice for the cheese platter. We found the atmosphere more bistronomic than gastronomic.

05/07/2025: The food tasted just okay. Immediately after we finished our meal, the bill was brought without being asked. And it stated that card payments weren't accepted at all.

17/11/2024: nous sommes venus 3 jours au we du 11 novembre. que ce soit l'hôtel ,l'accueil,le service, le restaurant tou etait impeccable. le service au restaurant au top et les plats succulents. touts nos félicitations au jeune chef de cuisine ainsi qu'au serveur et serveuse du restaurant. les patrons sont également très sympathique très avenants et professionnel. les chambres d'hôtel très spacieuse et très bien décorées. bref nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement et nous n'hésiterons pas a revenir lorsque nous reviendrons dans la région

13/11/2024: De passage à Mur-de-Barrez, nous avons déjeuné dans cet ancienne auberge réputée reprise récemment, après un passage... à vide de quelques années. Nous sommes venus cet été assez souvent, entre amis et en famille : menu brasserie parfait. En novembre, nous étions pressés par le temps et avons choisi le menu du jour. Excellent. Cuisine entièrement faite maison : produits frais, de qualité... et bons, ce qui est rare pour un menu du jour. Postule pour le label "maitre restaurateur" ce qui est un gage de qualité. Service rapide, dynamique, discret et efficace malgré une certaine affluence. Ambiance cool, sympathique. Adresse à recommander.

13/12/2024: I went to Martin’s cellar last night with a group of around fifteen friends. We were entitled to the privatization of the mezzanine which was very good. The evening went quite well until dessert when I found a hair in the scoop of ice cream that accompanied the fondant. So I brought down the dessert with the hair to indicate it and the reaction of the person in charge (because I later knew that it was the person in charge) was very disconcerting. It's not our hair and I'm sure of that, so basically "I'm talking to him about it", but we'll still make you dessert again. So given his reaction, I might have thought that I had fun bringing a hair with me and putting it on the dessert🤔🤔 I come down 15 minutes later to find out where the dessert is, he tells me it's in progress. 15 minutes later at the mezzanine level, I asked him again and he told me that it happened, telling me, after I pointed out to him that it was a bit long, that it had only been 10 minutes since I went see him. I hate bad times and I didn't hesitate to tell him that. In short, an execrable reaction on his part and lamentable crisis management. Given his reaction, I didn't even dare to eat the fondant when it arrived. So the evening was ruined by this event and I didn't even make sure that he hadn't counted the fondant (just on principle). At the same time as there was at least €50 per head (condition for having the privatized mezzanine), no one must have paid any attention to it. Despite everything, I remember the waitress who was very adorable 😊😊
