31/07/2026: A lovely restaurant serving Alsatian cuisine. Modern and stylishly furnished in an old half-timbered house, whose charm has been preserved. Excellent tarte flambée and very attentive and friendly service. In short: highly recommended! A well-deserved 5 stars in every respect. We will definitely be back!

26/07/2026: After a very disappointing experience at another establishment, we arrived here without a reservation, feeling a bit discouraged. What a pleasant surprise! We were greeted with a smile, genuine kindness, and true hospitality. The waitress was professional, attentive, and available throughout the meal without ever being intrusive. We immediately felt welcome. The menu is varied, with tempting dishes. Special mention goes to the pot-au-feu salad: a real success! Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, with that authentic taste reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking. A true delight. Thanks to your warm welcome and the quality of your cuisine, our evening, which had started off very badly, was completely redeemed. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience. We will gladly return and recommend your establishment without hesitation.

20/06/2026: Very disappointed with our meal… yet the online reviews are positive! We don't understand 🤷‍♀️ One savory buckwheat crepe with bacon: it was ham… The other: sausage with stewed onions and potatoes… without potatoes (maybe they were extra?) and the onions were nowhere to be found (probably hidden under a thick layer of cheese). The dessert crepe had fruit from a can of syrup… Meh.

17/06/2026: Excellent service, crepes to our liking, very attentive and pleasant waiter, everything was great, really lovely, I highly recommend it. I came with a person with reduced mobility and the waiter helped us out, thank you for that thoughtful touch.

30/07/2026: This restaurant had been recommended to us, but we unfortunately left disappointed. At €50 for a four-course menu, the price seemed reasonable. However, given the establishment's positioning, we expected much more attentive service. From the very first course, there was no presentation whatsoever. This was rectified later by a staff member. The presentation of the second course was rushed, the fourth was adequate, and no explanation was given for the dessert. Several details also gave an impression of a lack of care: the bread plates were still full of crumbs and were used as a base for the dessert coulis, the aperitif glasses hadn't been cleared even though the wine had already been poured, and the wait between courses was far too long. It wasn't all bad, though. The wine recommendation was excellent, as was the homemade sangria. Regarding the dishes, the zucchini accompanying the fish was undercooked, but that remains a subjective opinion. Overall, the plates were quite well presented. Finally, we were told the bill would arrive. After waiting about five minutes without any news, we had to go to the counter to pay. I imagine the employee sensed our annoyance, since she didn't ask us how our evening had gone. We won't be going back. That said, given the numerous positive reviews, I think this is probably an isolated incident and that this type of problem is occasional. Nevertheless, I feel it's important to bring these points to light so they can be taken into account and corrected for future customers. The goal isn't to criticize the establishment, but to share an experience that I hope will contribute to improving the quality of service.

26/07/2026: We had booked a table at this restaurant located in a beautiful house in the historic heart of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. We opted for an indoor table in a lovely dining room, which must be particularly pleasant in winter. The dishes we chose were excellent and original, from the amuse-bouche (which we didn't know about beforehand) to the dessert. The wines by the glass were very good. In addition, we would add that the service was professional and also lively, which we appreciated. We highly recommend this restaurant.

24/07/2026: The food at this unpretentious restaurant is excellent. As a visitor it appears to be off the beaten track but this may be an asset. The chef has great skill in developing and combining flavours. The produce is obviously of a high standard, fresh and tasty. The service is welcoming without being intrusive. Highly recommended

13/09/2025: Friendly welcome, cozy and pleasant setting. Fresh and well-cooked products. The surf and turf starter was to die for, the monkfish cheeks were superb, the chocolate caramel ice cream mousse, and the strawberry cappuccino were excellent. A truly wonderful experience.

23/07/2026: We had a wonderful time! The food was delicious: the tataki was particularly flavorful, perfectly prepared, and incredibly fresh. As for the chocolate dessert, it was simply decadent, a perfect way to end the meal. The service was impeccable, with a smiling and attentive staff throughout the meal. We haven't had the chance to enjoy it yet, but the restaurant has a small, shaded terrace that looked very inviting. We'll gladly try it out on our next visit. We highly recommend this restaurant!

The delicate Asian influences provide a constantly renewed delight. Thimothé's service is impeccable, elevating the dishes with remarkably precise and original wine pairings. A must-visit in Tarbes and the surrounding area.
