17/02/2026: A nice place for a drink, especially in summer with the terrace. The atmosphere is lively and the menu is reasonably priced. Be aware, however, that the music is quite loud, but that also contributes to the festive feel of the place.

15/05/2026: The food (creativity, flavor and presentation), service, and decor were all outstanding. We felt as if we were doing the staff a favor to enjoy ourselves so much. Each plate was a thing of beauty, with blends of flavors that were both novel and exquisite. I don't understand how Google can give them 4.8⭐ but Michelin only 1⭐. The tire people are tough!

04/05/2026: We went there at lunchtime and had a wonderful meal, it was very good.

05/06/2026: We ate à la carte at lunchtime on the terrace. We ordered an aperitif, a salad, a scallop dish, and a quarter-liter of wine. The salad was overly vinegary and chewy. The scallops weren't fresh—four for me and six for my mother—accompanied by a quarter of a potato, a 3-centimeter carrot, a quarter of a turnip, and a slice of zucchini. A thick emulsion sauce accompanied everything. At the end of the meal, my mother asked me why the main course was taking so long to arrive... Total cost: 57 euros.

21/05/2026: Delicious homemade food. The waiter, Bertrand, was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

17/05/2026: A very good crêperie with a wide selection. Beautiful view of the port. For dessert, we had an excellent French toast, but it was a bit small for the price, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

02/04/2026: The best spot in Antibes for a quick lunch featuring an excellent daily special, most often a choice of meat or fish, created and cooked fresh to order by the warm and welcoming chef Julien, who delights his loyal local clientele. The homemade set menu, including a main course and dessert with a soft drink, is €11. Three options are available at this small, friendly establishment: takeaway, enjoy your meal at one of the eight seats around the bar, or savor it in the sun at one of the few tables on the terrace. It's such a great find that it's hard to share!

25/01/2026: Deceptive business practices and unjustified prices. Avoid at all costs: this establishment exploits the lack of competition to trap customers. It capitalizes on its proximity to the theater to charge exorbitant prices with complete impunity. The experience was surreal. With no non-alcoholic or sugar-free drinks available, we opted for an herbal tea. They then tried to charge us a €4 "hot drink surcharge after 5 pm"! We had to ask for the menu and check for ourselves to discover that the actual surcharge was €0.80. A billing "error" that is nothing short of a blatant rip-off. I sincerely feel for the waitress who seemed to be struggling, caught between high-pressure sales tactics and understandably exasperated customers. Don't be fooled by the location; walk a little further and spend your money at an honest restaurant.

24/01/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We went there after a show because it was the closest bar, and the evening turned into a disaster… Dry January being what it is, I ordered two non-alcoholic beers (priced at €6 each, no less!), but they were out of everything except one that wasn't cold. So we ended up ordering a crepe (€5) and an herbal tea (€4.20), and when it came time to pay, the waitress told me it was €13 and that there was a surcharge on hot drinks after 5 pm. Seriously, who does that, considering it's not a bar but a restaurant and they don't offer anything else without alcohol or sugar? We were a large group, everyone paid for their drinks, and at the end, the waitress told us that €39 was missing from the bill. We checked the whole bill again and realized they had added extra drinks. But they wouldn't listen, and we had to pay for their rip-off. And to top it all off, being honest, I checked the menu to see where the mistake might have been, and I saw that the surcharge for hot drinks was €0.80. I had to show them that I'd been charged €13 and that they'd charged me €8 for an herbal tea before they'd even bother to give me a refund. In short, this place is a disgrace, and these people should be punished for ripping off customers like this.

10/05/2026: New owner, we won't be going back. The waiter was very unpleasant, and the portions were tiny. My sister-in-law ordered roast beef with carrots (she can't eat rice), and she got overcooked roast beef and half a carrot. The rest was good, but we left hungry.

13/06/2026: Met some friends for dinner in Paris who happen to be in town the same time I was. We sat outside in the nice spring weather. Wine was excellent along with the food! Great time w friends!

For the past year, La Chartreuse has been with us every step of the way, helping us choose the menu, the wines, and organizing everything. The big day was on June 6th, with exclusive use of the estate so our guests could extend the celebration. This weekend was unforgettable for everyone, from the planning to the culinary delights. Everything was wonderful, from the cocktail hour to the meal, and even breakfast. Thank you to Jean Twari and his team for the culinary creations, thank you to Marina Arfeuille for the organization and her support, thank you to Pauline Lavignerie and Bastien for the service in the rooms. Thank you to the entire team at La Chartreuse. For a truly unique and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend this estate; it's simply perfect.

25/05/2026: An authentic country house, renovated with great care and taste. The ideal place for a charming and very relaxing stay, whether by the pool overlooking the surrounding hills, in the shade of the chestnut trees or on the terrace of the excellent restaurant.

04/06/2026: Lunch break in Embrun. A restaurant chosen somewhat randomly, but it was excellent: a warm atmosphere and attention to detail, including the table setting; delicious food and pleasant service. Special mention for the homemade desserts. Very good value for money.
