09/07/2025: A very pleasant welcome, a smile, and a joy of life! The waitresses and waiters are adorable and attentive, as is the owner. The galettes are generous and the cider... delicious. The location is ideal: sunshine, fresh air, and peace in the heart of Saint-Malo intra muros. We will gladly return. Not to be missed when visiting Saint-Malo.

23/11/2025: Utterly delightful little restaurant with the most delicious traditional escargot with garlic butter served with the best of bread and the scrumptious tender lamb shank with mashed potatoes with a deep tasting sauce. French food at its most delicious and simple. My companion's ravioli also a great success. The ladies serving us were charming and gracious. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: A very nice discovery 👌 it starts with a very warm welcome 😊 a cozy and very calm atmosphere (5 tables). A really pleasant, kind, involved waiter who clearly loves his job. We started with a homemade mushroom and foie gras velouté. Then a shredded beef (perfectly cooked 😋) Followed by a very good chocolate fondant 🍫 roasted with coffee. A perfect pairing with the wines 🍷 under the advice of our head waiter. A faultless meal from start to finish, we highly recommend this restaurant. Very beautiful wine environment in all seasons. 10/12/2025: Friday evening with the family. Let's be clear from the start, the setting doesn't do justice to the food. The restaurant is a narrow corridor full of uninspiring tables... A shame, especially for those eating by the door. As for the food itself, there's not much to complain about. A €40 set menu, even for children. This is clearly stated on the website, so no worries. The menu is tempting; it's hard to choose. In the end, both starters are excellent, with a very special mention for the black pudding cromesqui 😘 For the main course, the scallops with lentils are delicious. The duck tataki is less impressive; the dish lacks cohesion, particularly with the unnecessary marinated vegetables... The aged Morbier cheese is a delight. The desserts are very original and top-notch. A very good time and excellent value for money, with a pleasant team and a straightforward chef.

19/08/2024: Coming from Malta, I came to discover the beautiful French landscapes, so I stopped in Lyon, to eat in this small restaurant, rather good value for money, I had the joy of being served by Cantain, a funny waiter , pleasant and responsive, I can only recommend!

09/07/2025: We almost didn’t make it to this restaurant as L’Etage is hidden behind an old door, but we are so pleased we did. It was the highlight of our stay in Lyon and of our two week holiday in France. Guillame multi-tasks as the waiter, chef and raconteur. The food was exquisite, Michelin star worthy and we loved the choice of wines. Such an intimate space with only 6 tables and fabulous views out onto the square and fountain. We only had a 2 night stay in Lyon but learnt so much of the history from Guillame which really brought the city alive for us. We will be recommending to all our friends. Thankyou Guillame.

13/12/2024: We were visiting Sacre Couer and we searched on Google for a restaurant for dinner and by far it was the best choice we could have made. Delicious food, impeccable service and fair price. We opted for the surprise tasting menu and all the dishes were very well prepared. Congratulations!

11/12/2024: Luckily we still got seats for my wife and I! Because apparently reservations should be made. I understood that, because the restaurant was filling up noticeably during our stay. Which didn't surprise me after eating it. Despite communication difficulties (can neither speak French nor English), we were served very courteously. Highly recommended!!!

07/07/2025: Very friendly owner who allowed us to choose our wine after a tasting. Very good octopus salad with lots of daily vegetables, carefully prepared. Enjoy the terrace if the weather permits. Authentic village.
