29/12/2025: Review: A very affordable gourmet restaurant. The chef introduces you to new taste and visual sensations and helps you rediscover the delicious flavors of French cuisine. The staff is very professional and pleasant, not to mention the kindness of the restaurant owner who comes to greet you at your table. The decor is flawless, both refined and chic, and the view is a marvel of Normandy.

01/07/2025: One of the best restaurants I visited in Paris, and just a couple minutes from where I was staying in Batignolles. Attentive service, friendly waitress, and divine food. Highly recommend, especially for lunch as it’s very quiet and delightful at that time.

09/07/2025: We almost didn’t make it to this restaurant as L’Etage is hidden behind an old door, but we are so pleased we did. It was the highlight of our stay in Lyon and of our two week holiday in France. Guillame multi-tasks as the waiter, chef and raconteur. The food was exquisite, Michelin star worthy and we loved the choice of wines. Such an intimate space with only 6 tables and fabulous views out onto the square and fountain. We only had a 2 night stay in Lyon but learnt so much of the history from Guillame which really brought the city alive for us. We will be recommending to all our friends. Thankyou Guillame.

27/01/2026: A very warm welcome. Excellent waitresses. Gourmet dishes. However, the duck dish needs improvement; it contained pieces of liver... and the meat was very sinewy. It needs to be perfected. Disgusting. A lovely time spent with family by a cozy fireplace, listening to classical music. The only slight drawback was the black tablecloths and chairs, creating a rather austere atmosphere. White would be more timeless and elegant.

27/01/2026: A truly authentic Japanese restaurant 🎌 Ideal for discovering okonomiyaki if you're not familiar with it! But that's not all; they also have grilled onigiri 🍙 and flambéed marinated mackerel 😍😍 If you're lucky enough to get a seat at the counter, you can watch the entire preparation process. My only slight disappointment was the lack of flavor in the okonomiyaki. It's hard to explain, but having eaten them in Japan recently, they seemed rather bland. As a bonus, they have some good sake and whisky, and a superb French toast with red bean paste and vanilla ice cream 😉

The alchemy between the pride in presenting a delicate dish and the selection of quality ingredients to create it has been there from the beginning and endures over time, making this restaurant a little gem in Old Antibes. If you feel you've had enough of the tourist trap and want to experience fine cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the right place.

23/11/2025: Utterly delightful little restaurant with the most delicious traditional escargot with garlic butter served with the best of bread and the scrumptious tender lamb shank with mashed potatoes with a deep tasting sauce. French food at its most delicious and simple. My companion's ravioli also a great success. The ladies serving us were charming and gracious. Highly recommended.

27/12/2025: First visit to this establishment, and it was a wonderful culinary experience. We opted for the main course and dessert set menu as there are no vegan starters. I recommend the vegetable spaghetti with tofu; it was delicious.
