12/07/2026: Simple but convenient stopover. Friendly owner and nice restaurant. Comfortable beds, no airco in rooms (but fans available). Staying with 2 adults and 2 kids.

14/04/2026: Not a great overnight stay. Very basic room, broken towel rack. Dinner? Well, pizza or... pizza. The carafe of red wine was a bit harsh. Breakfast was very standard (no dairy, no cold cuts, no fruit). All this for €120... I've had much better.

13/07/2026: The restaurant offers four air-conditioned meeting rooms, a very welcome detail! Friendly service, a family atmosphere, and a good selection of appetizers and desserts at the buffet. I recommend it!

26/06/2026: I wonder what was drier: the bread, the cheese, or the mashed potatoes. The beetroot in the cold buffet was inedible (I pointed it out to the waiter, who clearly didn't care). As for the dessert, two spoonfuls were enough to stop the carnage. The first was to break the crust on top (everything in this restaurant is definitely dry), and the second was enough to completely kill my appetite. The coffee, however, was very good, which justifies the single star in this review.

22/06/2026: I ordered a rare burger and they brought me a shoe leather sandwiched between two slices of bread. I asked if it was possible to change it (which the friendly waiter agreed to) and they brought me pretty much the same thing...

03/06/2026: A very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered a steak that arrived way overcooked. After sending it back to the kitchen, it was served again, but undercooked, cold, and topped with cheese that hadn't even melted. The Maroilles sauce was just as disappointing: there were chunks of unmelted cheese and the sauce was unevenly prepared. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve things. From the moment I arrived, the staff couldn't tell me what the daily special was, which gave a general impression of a lack of professionalism and preparation. Between the cooking errors, the poor quality of the side dishes, and the amateurish service, this experience was a real disappointment. I do not recommend this establishment in its current state.

18/03/2026: Just had a beer on the terrace. Only downside, the terrace isn't sunny all day.

02/03/2026: Well… if you have an hour and fifteen minutes of your life to waste, feel free to go to this shop where the atmosphere was not for sale, just like the drinks. 1 hour and 15 minutes for 3 Viennese chocolates (which we didn't even get), nobody to come and see us… I do not recommend it.

16/05/2026: I ordered a salad as a meal; there was more lettuce than filling, no flavor, and the seafood was rubbery. Far too expensive for what it was! Too bad, we won't be back.

16/05/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Unfriendly service, everything is frozen, and the portions are extremely small. Frankly, we were very disappointed. A tourist trap!

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

22/07/2026: Friendly service from an engaged and amicable staff member. They welcomed my very bad attempt to speak French but put me at ease by being friendly open and jovial about it! I didn't try the food but the coffee and drinks for me and my family were served with politeness and a warm welcome

18/07/2026: I enjoyed an excellent rare rump steak today with a delicious homemade béarnaise sauce. Perfectly cooked and served with a warm welcome 🥰. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: Reservations were only accepted for massages followed by spa treatments. However, the location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with exceptional views. We loved it. Our only regret was that the hammam was out of order 🥹. The service was very professional.

20/05/2026: I recently stayed at this hotel with my husband, daughter, and son-in-law. Our stay, though short, was a wonderful discovery. The service, the welcome, and the breakfast selection were all excellent. My husband and I had the opportunity to enjoy a massage and were delighted with the quality and professionalism of the treatment. I also participated in a yoga class with Shiva. What a pleasant surprise! The room was clean and properly prepared: mats, straps, blocks, and incense. The class was very comprehensive, incorporating mantras, breathing exercises, mindfulness, postures, and a relaxation period at the end of the session, all in a very supportive atmosphere and with respect for the allotted time. I warmly thank Shiva for his dedication to this shared practice.

12/02/2026: ⚠️ AVOID AT ALL COSTS – OUR WEDDING RUINED ⚠️ This place has literally ruined our lives. We paid a fortune to book this venue exclusively for our wedding, which was scheduled for four months from now. After weeks of no response from the manager, despite numerous follow-ups, we were abruptly informed that the establishment was in liquidation. 👉 Result: NO MORE VENUE FOR OUR WEDDING, which we had been planning for months, with vendors already booked, deposits paid, and all the logistics to be redone urgently. 👉 Even worse: the venue owes us nearly €4,000, an enormous sum for us, young people who had worked hard for months to finance this wedding, with no guarantee that we would ever see that money again. No information provided. No calls. No emails. Complete silence until the liquidation announcement. This is an extremely serious situation, both from a human and financial perspective. Playing with people's lives, their plans, their savings, and an event as important as a wedding is unacceptable. If you are considering this venue for an event: DO NOT TAKE THIS RISK. What we are experiencing is a nightmare, immense stress, and a profound injustice.

19/01/2026: Currently in liquidation, leaving us without a venue or caterer four months before the wedding. Not even an email to inform us of the situation! We had to contact the mayor of Montesquiou to confirm our suspicions.

28/07/2026: The pastries were average, and the coffee wasn’t good. I expected something much better.

29/07/2026: I was hungry this morning, so I went into the shop to buy a croissant and a raisin bun. The employee grabbed the two buns with her bare hands, wrapped them in paper, and then gave me my change—a crumpled 5 euro bill and 2 euro coins—from a case with the same hands. She did everything with the same hands. I thought, "Wow, is that really hygienic?" The buns were delicious, but I couldn't help but think that I had eaten some unknown bacteria along with them. I wish they would think a little more about how they do things. Incidentally, the other employees were also grabbing the buns with their bare hands, which I think ruins the buns.

25/07/2026: The service was as appalling as the food! A zero was the fairest rating. Please, stop sulking and barely looking at the customers who are smiling at you. By 2:30 pm, the peak of the rush on a Saturday in July had passed, and this behavior is simply inexcusable. As for the food, it was dreadful. The salmon had definitely gone bad in its bagel, with a faint aftertaste of laundry detergent. The toasted brioche was more spongy than anything else. Try tasting your own food if it's artisanal! You have no shame. Dirty trays are left lying around on the outside tables, and with the other options available, it wouldn't be surprising to see this place close down. It would allow professionals who respect their customers to open their doors. I didn't even bother taking a picture because it was so dismal.
