07/03/2026: I wasn't here during an event, so can't judge that. However, it could only get better - good food always pairs well with jazz. The interior is very cozy and seems to get rather full soon after opening. Despite that, the service is fast, the staff are cheerful and helpful, the food comes put quote fast. * Tartare de Boeuf * When in Paris, I always seek for Tartare de Boeuf - my favourite meal. And unfortunately it is very hard to find one not soaked in sauce, mixed with weird or too many things - that hides the flavour and may hide that the meat is not fresh. La Gramophone serves excellent beef tartar. It is fresh and classical. Meat is chopped, raw egg on top, some fries paired with vlue cheese sauce, and greens on the side. That's it. Sure, there are more ingredients mixed in the meat, but they are very subtle and don't dominate the flavour. Every bite delivers the right flavour. Maybe some kappers would be nice, but that is a negligible personal taste. * Pink burger * Second time i was here i tried the chefs recommendation for the day, it was a good choice either. Beets in buns give the pink colour and a nice sweetness to the bun, duck confit and caramelised onions inside with some nice cheese, sweet potato fries on the side make a very good meal. I can recommend this dish as well.

01/03/2026: It was a very pleasant feeling to feel like regulars, even though it was our first time discovering this place. Between the old floorboards, the beams, and the tastefully vintage decor, you can feel the place is steeped in history and music. The quality and selection of dishes are perfectly balanced. And a big thank you to the service team! When the carafe of water, bread, and wine arrive unbidden, at the perfect time, and with a smile, it might seem like small details, but for me, it's important to the overall impression. Don't change a thing.

09/02/2026: We spotted this restaurant while driving and turned around to take a closer look, and we were right to do so. A €16 set menu included a generous and varied buffet starter with excellent products, some of which were homemade. This was followed by a delicious beef bourguignon, a selection of fresh and aged cheeses, a homemade cherry cake, and coffee. What else? Everything was perfect. Furthermore, the manager was very welcoming and took the time to tell us about his cooking and even his chickens. A very pleasant experience, and we enjoyed an excellent meal. Simple, tasty, and inexpensive. We returned in February 2026 but were quite disappointed compared to previous visits. The buffet was much less tasty; the gratin dauphinois was neither salted nor seasoned, not browned, and very runny; the potatoes were mealy. It was like eating pre-peeled, vacuum-packed vegetables. The chicken wasn't as good as usual 🤷🏻‍♀️ Luckily the dessert was good and the service was perfect. One of the three waitresses was very friendly. For a €25.50 menu, very disappointed.

07/03/2026: Lunch on a sunny Saturday, on the terrace. Excellent welcome and service. We ordered: beef tartare, a reblochon burger, and steak with eggs: a real treat. The meat was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy and melt-in-your-mouth tender, the seasoning was perfect, and there was a curried hummus garnish. We'll be back very soon. Thank you.

Just one very minor drawback, but not unique to this otherwise excellent establishment: the slightly high price of the wines, unfortunately a common issue in the region. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: My favorite place when travelling to Beaune. La Maison du Colombier is a must stop for any Burgundy lover. The wine list is one of the best i've ever seen, with fair prices. The food is delicious, well made, with high quality ingredients. Antoine, the sommelier, is very knowledgeable, explaining with precision every wine and suggesting always the right one. The other staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly reccomended!

20/09/2025: A haven of peace near Angers ​This was my first time at this restaurant, and it was a real revelation. As a guest, I was immediately captivated by the calm and relaxing atmosphere, with truly charming decor that invites relaxation. For the Parisian in me, it was a breath of fresh air! ​A huge thank you to Miss Teva for her exceptional welcome. Her smile and kindness never failed, even when I was unsure about the menu. She was able to guide me and recommended the excellent chicken burger, a suggestion I absolutely do not regret, as I now have complete confidence in her. ​And what about the burger? It was simply perfect! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the taste... truly delicious! Kudos to Michael in the kitchen. This meal was a pure joy, from starter to dessert, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to escape and enjoy a moment of pure bliss. It's a place to remember for your next visit to the area. ​All the best to the entire team!

Highly recommended for those looking for something other than smoked goat, tofayes (a type of sausage), or roïgabrageldi (a type of sausage)! Efficient and friendly service. We will gladly return.

08/07/2025: We are never disappointed by Le jardin d été. The service is great, the good succulent and their specials are always very different with flavour. This time we opted for the beef filet a classic with just the right amount of homemade French fries, a bit of veggies and sauce aux poivres! Excellent all around

We were welcomed very late in the evening when most restaurants had already finished their service—a rare and much-appreciated gesture. For the starter, the parsley razor clam was simply divine, a lovely surprise full of freshness and flavor. The steak tartare was by far the best I've ever tasted: perfectly seasoned, tender, and a real treat. And to finish on a high note, the salted caramel profiteroles... to die for! A special mention for the service: impeccable from start to finish, warm, attentive, and with a smile despite the late hour. A big thank you to the waiters for their welcome and professionalism.
