12/05/2026: We booked a table at the Saint-Christophe restaurant for dinner. We were able to try the all-you-can-eat frogs' legs, as well as chicken for those who didn't want it. The service was truly impressive: a single waitress and chef was managing three tables that evening (one for 8, one for 4, and one for 3), and she handled everything with great efficiency, good humor, and friendliness. We even managed to jokingly say "stop" when we were completely full because the portions were so generous, which is very rare. It was our first experience with frogs' legs served with several different sauces and unlimited, which is quite unusual and much appreciated. The setting is also very pleasant. We dined inside, which resembles a true guesthouse: personalized decor, homemade creations, numerous objects and books… It has a lot of charm and a warm atmosphere. We will gladly return; this was a very positive experience.

19/06/2026: I strongly advise against this restaurant! It had no flavor, and the cheese was tiny for a roasted Camembert. The service was very poor; I understand why it was empty! Avoid it at all costs!

10/06/2026: Excellent place, I've been several times and it's always very good, generous portions, and affordable. The service is always excellent. The facade is currently being renovated, but I called and they confirmed it was open, and I wasn't disappointed.

30/07/2026: Close your eyes and imagine. You're sitting next to the public toilets, it smells like cat pee. You order five Cokes, the waiter arrives with ten. I order a steak and eggs, and the portions are tiny. Thirty seconds later, and fifteen euros lighter, the plate is empty, and I'm still hungry. My friend orders ravioli, but after a fifteen-minute wait, they tell her they're out. So she gets a burger, but it arrives without the bun. A local fixes the toilets, and it's my table that has to finish the meal holding its breath. A homeless guy tries to sell me plants; I refuse. In short, a dream evening, the French dream.

23/07/2026: A superb experience for my first Michelin-starred restaurant. We ate very well and the service was excellent!

18/07/2026: Lunch at 6 today. The food, service, setting, and ambiance were all admirable. The menu was generous, with flavors beautifully highlighted and balanced. It deserves more than one star. We will definitely return. (Minor suggestion: the reduction of the sauces could be better balanced in two courses; perhaps adding a touch of acidity would be helpful?)

20/07/2026: Excellent time at Le Petit Marcel! Perfect egg mayonnaise, a generous Savoyard burger with melt-in-your-mouth Reblochon cheese, and perfect Nutella crepes to finish. Generous portions, great value for money, and top-notch service. I recommend it 100%, I'll be back!

Clem delighted us by whipping up her blueberry tarts for us at the last minute—pure bliss! Given the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome, it's a shame we had to leave! Thanks for saving our day's stop!

01/08/2026: It's always a real pleasure to return to La Taverne du Vigneron! The Alsatian atmosphere is warm and charming, the dishes are homemade, generous, and true to tradition. An authentic place where you eat well and always feel welcome. Highly recommended!

15/07/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our Bastille Day dinner. The chef's menu was truly excellent. We hadn't been to this restaurant before, and it was a wonderful discovery. The food, the service, the ambiance, and the prices—everything was perfect. A lovely touch to end the evening was the restaurant's short sound and light show about the local legend of the Gartempe River.
