25/04/2026: Wonderfull evening. Very professional and kind. We had diner with 2 friends and was really great. We have all been surprised by the quality of the food. Perfect cooking for the asparagus - sauces are very tasty for example. Prices are also very reasonable. Well go for it. Better to reserve as the place is on high demand. The location is also excellent. Thank you to the team for such moment.

22/04/2026: Le Fumoir, with its setting and history opposite the Louvre, is an absolutely unique place. It's a place where one expects to experience an authentic Parisian atmosphere, worthy of the literature that has shaped the soul of this city. Unfortunately, the magic was completely ruined by a deplorable welcome. On April 22, 2026, at 4:10 p.m., we were greeted with surprising aggression by the waitress on the terrace, clearly irritated that we had sat down before being invited—a practice that is, however, quite common in Parisian cafés. It is truly sad to see an institution of this caliber, conducive to meetings and the contemplation of history, so devalued by such a lack of courtesy. While one might sometimes expect Parisian waiters to be a bit stiff, such behavior is unacceptable in an establishment that aims to reflect the prestige and elegance of the capital. A magnificent place that deserves staff worthy of its decor… The smoking room apparently isn't even three customers away; it's a real shame. A pity.

11/04/2026: I had a wonderful time at La Herse. The starter was excellent and the steak tartare perfectly prepared. The rice pudding was a slight disappointment, falling a little short of the rest of the meal, but overall, the experience was very positive. The quality of the ingredients is evident throughout. A reliable restaurant that I highly recommend if you're visiting the "Little Venice of the Beauce"!

05/04/2026: The food was very good and beautifully presented. The setting was pleasant. It's a shame there are no set menus, only à la carte options, as this makes the bill quite high... There was a long wait between courses.

05/03/2026: Bikers on a ride, delighted to have booked a table at this little restaurant for our lunch break. The owner, with his great sense of humor, gave us a very warm welcome. The daily menu featured delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients, all very well prepared. We will definitely be back.

07/04/2026: Excellent! This was our fourth group meal here, and it was just as good as the first time. The setting is lovely, a large room even if it's a bit dated. Chef Pascal is incredibly kind, welcoming, available, and accommodating. The food is truly delicious, from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is top-notch, and the staff are friendly. In short, a place to recommend, and even to book in advance. Congratulations to the team, and especially to Pascal.

18/01/2026: We booked a table at this restaurant for a group meeting. The welcome was very friendly and the meal was good value for money. Unfortunately, it was closed on Sundays.

29/04/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. The staff is unpleasant. The alarm went off and blared for five minutes straight. No server came to apologize for the inconvenience. Furthermore, the salad we were served wasn't fresh at all; some leaves were wilted and rotten. When the bill arrived, I expressed my dissatisfaction, and they told me I should have moved (which wouldn't have made any difference since the alarm was blaring throughout the entire restaurant), and that I should have asked for a replacement salad. And of course, after all that, there was no attempt at compensation. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this place.

07/04/2026: We stopped for dinner at the last minute; the restaurant was on our way. We received a very warm welcome with our three children. The set menu was excellent value for money: €29 for a starter, main course, and dessert. The starter featured seasonal ingredients (asparagus), and everything was delicious. Thank you very much!
