30/03/2026: Discovered thanks to the Gourmet Passport, we had a great time. The cocktails were good, and so were the dishes (prawn and chorizo ​​risotto as a starter and duck with gnocchi as a main course). The waitresses were smiling and friendly. The only negative point, which surprised us greatly, was that there was no carafe of water for Gourmet Passport holders. This was surprising.

The only slight drawback was the small glass of sparkling wine.

Despite the boisterous noise from the diners at the next table, these crêpes transported me on an extraordinary journey to a land of pure pleasure, a lost paradise, an oasis of delight. The crêpe awakened unfamiliar taste buds and gustatory neurons within me. This crêpe was exquisitely tender. The delicate liqueur of the Camembert blended seamlessly with the tender chicken, and then the exquisite bacon combined with the natural firmness of the potatoes to evoke in me a feeling of intense pleasure—nay, a culinary orgasm like no other, one I will remember for the rest of my life. This establishment is not simply a restaurant; it is a divine, celestial hotel, where one enters aimlessly, with an empty stomach, and leaves with a specific purpose: to become better, to finally reach the perfection of this place. Eating here is no small thing; it's something to be earned, and not everyone can appreciate this level of perfection. As Saint-Exupéry said, "Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." And for me, in this restaurant, if anything should be taken away, it would be the ungrateful, uncultured, arid, and incongruous customers who fail to recognize the beauty of these crêpes. I want to make it clear that I was in no way paid by the restaurant; I'm simply a customer stunned by a culinary quality worthy of Philippe Etchebest, a quality that would make even the most hardened chefs envious. 29/04/2026: A superb meal for two! The cuisine was expertly prepared, with high-quality dishes made from fresh ingredients and served promptly despite the restaurant's popularity. The service was quick, polite, and attentive, even though tables were immediately refilled as soon as we vacated them. And every table was occupied. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed. The terrace wasn't too noisy, although the proximity of the terrace could have been a factor. There was a wonderful synergy between the kitchen and the dining room. And the view of the castle was the icing on the cake.

01/03/2026: Everything is perfect in this restaurant: a delicious, well-prepared, and high-quality meal, and impeccable service. EXCEPT that at a certain point, the noise level needs to be controlled in the dining room. This lunchtime, while everything was going perfectly, it only took two people, who must have forgotten their hearing aids, to ruin the meal for all the other customers, given the volume of their incessant conversations. Considering that it wasn't my place to intervene or mention it to you, since your kitchen is open to the dining room and you must have heard it, I'm taking the liberty of editing this review in order to help improve your establishment.

05/01/2026: We ate at this restaurant yesterday, and what can I say except that we received a warm welcome. There were four of us, all dressed in hiking gear, and we hadn't made a reservation, yet they welcomed us. We all ordered set menus and were frankly not disappointed at all, from the appetizers to the desserts. A truly excellent place; I highly recommend this establishment, located in Larnas, Ardèche.
