Each French dish, with a Japanese twist, was richly flavored, and with only a few people at the table, the service was impeccable. However, I was disappointed that there were no instructions on how to eat or a menu card for those who lack Japanese or English. The restaurant didn't provide any details, such as the use of koji (fermented soybean paste) or the ingredients used to create the umami flavor. The broth base wasn't explained, so I had to guess (I focused on the flavors of the ingredients) and savor the meal.
