23/08/2026: We came on a Thursday evening, August 20th. I often come to your restaurant, especially for lunch. But I was very disappointed with the service. The waitress was extremely aggressive and rushed, constantly on her phone. She came to take our order, saw we weren't ready, but she stayed. We quickly chose our dishes as if we were bothering her. The food arrived, she announced what we wanted, but we couldn't quite hear what it was. She yelled at us, saying the plates were hot. We apologized because we hadn't listened properly. She continued to look at us rudely and disrespectfully, as if it were our fault. We expressed our dissatisfaction, but she treated us even worse with oppressive stares and very irritating behavior. We told her we were there to have a good time, not to be pressured and have her complain about something that wasn't our fault at all. She left, and another colleague took over, who was very friendly and smiling. Aside from that, the food was mediocre, a huge difference in quality compared to the lunch service. The plates were poorly presented, and the veal breast was all fat—90% fat and 10% meat. In short, I'll think twice before returning to or recommending this restaurant.

10/09/2026: It doesn't get any better than this. A three-course meal at a great price. Lots of wonderful complimentary appetizers on top. A trained waiter with language and wine knowledge... and so much more. We didn't expect such a gourmet highlight in such a sparsely populated area. Highly recommended.

26/09/2026: A very good restaurant. The setting is really lovely in the summer, much quieter than the Place des Cardeurs. The portions are generous, and there's a reasonable selection. The staff is pleasant and doesn't rush the customers.

07/08/2026: We loved visiting a Patarerie in Troyes a few years ago, but sadly it is now closed and we couldn't find any Patateries near where we have been staying this year. Therefore, we planned our driving route back to Calais, so that we could stop at the St Paul le Romans branch for lunch. We were worried that despite our special journey that the restaurant would be closed, but luckily it wasn't! We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The restaurant was relatively busy and had a quirky, rustic decor. Our order was taken quickly and our drinks and food arrived extremely speedily too! We were very impressed. The food was very tasty- both mains and desserts. I had the raclette baked potato which was delicious and the rest of the party had burgers, salmon and a different type of potato. We thought everything was good value. It was a great experience and hopefully we can come back next year! Please stay open! We also love the Potato mascot PS It would be useful if the menu states what accompaniments are on offer and also if online booking was available,

22/08/2026: We spent one night in a dormitory at the farm-inn. Clean bathrooms, decent dormitories. A very warm welcome; Mrs. Hirth was the only one serving and therefore kept very busy. The meals (dinner and breakfast) were very good with very generous portions. The setting is exceptional. The only downside: the meal times and duration were not respected (3 hours for dinner!).

15/08/2026: On Saturday, August 15, 2026, after a long walk, I arrived with about ten friends for lunch at the Gresson farm inn in Oberbruck. The welcome and service throughout the meal were perfect. The meal, from appetizer to dessert, was excellent, homemade of course, with very fresh ingredients. We had the opportunity to visit the rooms. They have been tastefully renovated. I highly recommend this establishment and would return with great pleasure. Gilles Debono
