17/04/2026: Exceptional! Two or three-star cuisine at canteen or bistro prices. Two veterans of a renowned three-Michelin-starred restaurant have been producing honest, admirably balanced cuisine for several years, using beautiful ingredients and exemplary cooking. The bread is homemade (of course), and all this comes at a more than reasonable price—perhaps too reasonable. If we consider this simple criterion of value for money, this is, to my knowledge, the highest-rated restaurant in Paris! Seriously, as you can tell, I was blown away.

28/02/2026: Fantastic! We stopped for a bite to eat for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly, English-speaking owner! He offered us a Tajin as the dish of the day, which was delicious, as was the dessert. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. If I ever come back to Lyon, I'll definitely be back. I'm also curious about the weekend jam sessions!

14/04/2026: Very good restaurant. Only one drawback: it gets noisy quickly, but the quality of the food (several guests, several dishes, all delighted, desserts included) more than makes up for this minor drawback.

14/04/2026: The meat was of poor quality, as were their knives which cut nothing. The sirloin steak was cooked "rare" but was extremely rubbery... I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews for this mediocre establishment; I suspect they're fake. 😹

Otherwise, a very, very good product, cooked with care. It's a real shame about this error. The team is top-notch and very professional.

13/04/2026: I'll definitely be back. An excellent bistro-style bar, just the way I like them. The bar is very well located on Place Wilson, and the terrace is bathed in sunshine, which is lovely. The atmosphere inside is very cozy; the bar itself is superb, crafted from aged steel with beautiful indirect lighting. The service is top-notch: quick, efficient, and always with a smile. Special mention goes to the Viennese hot chocolates, which I think are the best I've had in Toulouse so far. Thank you, Cardinal, and see you soon to try your ice cream.

05/04/2026: Fifty years of history! We discovered this restaurant by chance last year after an hour of searching. And yes, it's a great place to avoid the touristy area. And above all, the owners are very friendly. You'll recognize us. Last time, we were accompanied by a little monkey who climbed the curtains.

The welcome is particularly warm and the service, provided by an efficient and friendly team of women, is impeccable. As for the atmosphere, we appreciated the table layout, which allows for intimate conversations, as well as the cozy setting adorned with superb watercolors by a local artist. On the plate, the promise of fresh, local ingredients is kept: refined, generous, and flavorful cuisine.
