We were greeted very warmly, and the wait was made more pleasant by helping us read the menu and offering us a beer to go... extremely flexible and helpful. The gratins were delicious, the tarte tatin divine 😋 We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this bistro!

11/04/2026: On Saturday evening, March 28th, on the advice of my children, I went to eat. The meal was pleasant, the service average. The service was going well until the waitress brought me the wine. I was served a glass of wine, which was more like the dregs of the bottle, complete with sediment. When I pointed this out to her, she replied, without apologizing, that the dregs of the bottle were normal. When paying, I took the glass to the owner, who made the same comment as her waitress. As a former restaurant owner, I would never have tolerated such a response to a customer. I do not recommend this restaurant, especially to wine lovers and/or connoisseurs, as the staff lacks professionalism... much like the owner.

26/03/2026: Delicious, unpretentious yet expertly prepared, comforting, and generous cuisine! I highly recommend it. The place is lively and busy at lunchtime, but runs very efficiently in my opinion. The two owners who run it are also very friendly, so go for it!

22/03/2026: Very pleasant and quiet on a Sunday. Excellent. The waiter was attentive before, during, and after the meal.

16/03/2026: Avoid the cocktails as they're not great, and there are no appetizers. The owner is friendly but works alone. The food is good, but there's not much choice. We won't be going back.

01/05/2026: Requires advanced reservation as there are limited seating. For us the food was just so-so, lyonnaise salad was fair but the other two dishes we had, the quenelle and the traditional calf head were lackluster. A pass for us and with the steep pricing, could get better more value for money elsewhere. Also, do note there is an additional charge if you are paying using an international card. This was not warned beforehand and only after you tap your card. The server was kind and that was worth to mention and we appreciate the patience.

From the moment you step inside, you're charmed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, with retro decor that adds a touch of character. The service is generally very pleasant, with attentive staff and helpful advice, especially regarding wine selection. As for the food, the dishes are homemade, generous, and prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The flavors are truly exceptional.
