The menu is more local than ever (you don't forget your roots that easily): the vegetables come from the garden, and the suppliers are all nearby. That evening, we had asparagus from a local producer and a divine bisque, as well as melt-in-your-mouth lamb in a reduced jus, not to mention a truffle-infused bone marrow that was simply divine. And on top of that, the service is impeccable. Head straight to Marcolès!

18/04/2026: It starts with a simple and warm welcome in a pleasant setting. Then a thoughtful touch: "That was the last of the wine in the bottle, so I gave you more." Then comes the delicious, simple (without being simplistic) and high-quality cuisine. Even the tap water is good, as is the background music. All for €17 (€5 extra for dessert). You can also eat outside on a historic street in Caen that's not as "cold" as its name might suggest.

She was truly professional and knowledgeable. And the food? Excellent. Homemade, guaranteed. The small terrace was a pleasant surprise.

All of our employees gave us excellent feedback on the service we chose. For a lunch in a meeting room, we opted for the "Cagettes" package for a group of 11 people.
