12/07/2026: L’Ambroisie is that rare gem we all dream of having in our garden… Saturday evening, 6:45 pm, a spontaneous dinner: finding a table seemed like an impossible mission. After yet another rejection elsewhere, chance led us here without us knowing what to expect. Its Michelin star reassured us, and the incredibly warm welcome on the phone convinced us. And what a revelation! I rarely take the time to write reviews, but this time… "let's take the time." It was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. The team, exceptionally professional, took meticulous care of everything. On the plate and in the glass, it was pure poetry, enhanced by the words that accompanied each course of the meal—right down to the delicate "little cake that says goodbye" that we took home. Visually stunning, each bite is an explosion of flavors, a perfectly balanced combination that literally transported me. I hadn't experienced such a culinary revelation since my experience at Les Morainières (which has since earned its second star). And that's exactly what I wish for L'Ambroisie, which has already won its second star in my heart. 💖 Wishing you all the best and congratulations! You've won me over. 🥰😍 Audrey and Dominique

08/07/2026: We both had salad starters, which were huge and easily big enough for a main meal, and were the best we've ever had, anywhere. We would go back there again this evening but they are unfortunately closed.

15/09/2025: A true sensory journey: you eat in the dark, you search for your table as if in a labyrinth, and when your plate finally arrives, you almost regret having found it. Between the lack of flavor and the lack of light, it's hard to say which is worse. It's a shame because the service was the only positive point… but it doesn't make up for the frankly bad food, and especially at €42 for the set menu without drinks, the value for money is truly disappointing. I do not recommend it.

14/09/2025: I thank Reda for the incredible welcome he gave me and my family for my mother's birthday. The service was perfect, as warm as it was delicious. The dishes were excellent, both the meat and the salmon. I highly recommend it to everyone!

11/06/2026: By far the best traditional restaurant in Rambouillet. The dishes are subtly prepared with high-quality, fresh ingredients. The value for money is excellent. In the dining room, the waiters, who have been the same for at least ten years, are agile, efficient, and incredibly pleasant. The owner is just like everyone else. I highly recommend it. I also recommend making a reservation.

Inventive and flavorful cuisine, quality ingredients, fast, friendly, and efficient service, a wine list with hidden gems just waiting to be discovered (my only criticism would be to expand it slightly to allow for even better food and wine pairings), and a pleasant setting with ample space and a comfortable noise level. I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The portions on the lunch menu were tiny and the welcome was really cold. The waitress was trying her best but was clearly overwhelmed by the number of tables. I don't think I'll be back.

23/07/2026: A place we enjoy every year for a drink or a meal, but where we've seen the prices climb and the food increasingly disappointing... my last crêpe was clearly reheated and, ordered with lemon, was served dry with just a few slices on top. I expected something more substantial for €5.50... especially in Brittany ;) It's lucky there isn't much competition on the peninsula!

23/05/2026: We loved our experience at Les Marches! A reservation was helpful, and we sat outside on the most beautiful night. Our server Ines was lovely and helpful in picking a wine, and all the classic french dishes were done perfectly. Pictured: escargot, artichoke mimosa, steak au poive.

08/08/2026: Very friendly, we had a great evening by the water, and the misting fans were refreshing. The owners are nice, the only slight downside is that smokers and non-smokers are mixed together.

01/08/2026: A magnificent spot with a superb view from the peaceful terrace, surrounded by nature. We received a very warm welcome and had a wonderful meal! The road to get there is narrow, but it's well worth it!
