05/12/2025: We ate here last night while staying at the Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris. The food was so good! We had egg rolls, fried shrimp and dumplings for appetizers and then shared a bowl of the duck soup (so good and on a cold night it sure hit the spot!) Topped it off with green teas ice cream. I would definitely recommend for a very reasonably priced and tasty meal!

12/02/2026: My husband and I visited based on the Google rating and we were not disappointed. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious, we were thrilled we’d chosen to eat here. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks (we changed the tomato sauce to truffle sauce and it was incredible), the carbonara and the escalope Normandy, we couldn’t fault them. Great value for money and the food was delicious.

22/02/2026: A wonderful experience this past Saturday, February 21st. Everything was homemade, even my burger bun! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I accidentally dropped my cocktail on the floor, and they kindly remade it for me free of charge. I'd only had two sips, but the gesture was especially appreciated. In short, a great time with my girlfriend, and we'll definitely be back.

11/02/2026: Exceptional apartment in the beautiful little town of Vayrac, a hidden gem on the Dordogne. The whole apartment is super clean and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable; the kitchen has everything you need for a short or long stay. There's easy parking in the quiet road just outside. Fabrice & Virginie are always super welcoming and helpful. Merci beaucoup et à bientôt!

08/12/2025: What a delightful surprise this very "vintage" restaurant was! I was taken by friends last week, and I was thrilled! Arlette, the 79-year-old owner, is a charming lady who has been running this restaurant for quite some time... A complete change of scenery is guaranteed, a real step back in time; it's a restaurant like few others. You truly feel like you're in one of those 60s films with Jean Gabin, Paul Belmondo, or Lino Ventura... The tables are beautifully set with real fabrics and placemats, like a special occasion. You can enjoy all sorts of old-fashioned cocktails, like the "Pim's" (with champagne and cherries marinated in brandy), which Arlette knows how to make perfectly. The cuisine is typically French and home-style, with dishes you won't find anywhere else. Rabbit, sweetbreads, veal kidneys, escalope Thiérache-style, homemade foie gras, and other traditional dishes simmered by Philippe, the 65-year-old chef. The desserts are just as excellent as the rest of the menu, not to mention the selection of fine vintage wines at very reasonable prices. This delightfully vintage restaurant, serving authentic French home cooking, is well worth a visit; I assure you, it's worth the trip! It's a welcome change from today's chain restaurants! I recommend making a reservation before you come.

05/01/2026: We went to Gemozac for New Year's Eve on December 31st. The celebration was organized by Béatrice, who works at the Presbytery in Epargne. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that all the staff and Chef Yannick were there to prepare and serve us an excellent meal. I almost forgot to mention that the reception hall was beautifully decorated. The tables were covered with white tablecloths, the dishes were white porcelain, and fresh flowers adorned them. Thank you to Béatrice and her team for their attention to detail, thank you to Béatrice for organizing this wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. Thank you to the Chef and his team. Thank you to the entire dining room staff; you were always kind and attentive to our needs. Thanks to the very friendly DJ, we had a great time dancing and were the last to leave...around 5 a.m. We sometimes come to the Presbytery for lunch and are always delighted with the food and the welcome...my family didn't regret traveling over 500 km from Auvergne... Thanks again to you all!!

26/02/2026: A wonderful discovery just 10 minutes from Aix-les-Bains! The 100% homemade cuisine is a true delight. The ingredients are seasonal, and it shows in every dish: dishes prepared with great finesse, both in terms of taste and presentation, which is meticulous and elegant. The dining room is lovely, the decor refined, and the atmosphere particularly calm and pleasant. Special mention goes to the €26 set menu, which offers excellent value for money. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and one I will gladly return to!
