28/11/2025: Five cubes of meat and two potatoes for 20 euros. You shouldn't be hungry. The wine was very mediocre at 5.50 euros a glass. The service was very friendly.

24/11/2025: The welcome was very pleasant, but the food was very average. The butcher's cut was of mediocre quality, and the osso buco portion was small. The desserts were also bland. Disappointed.

28/11/2025: One-night stay for business. I would say the value for money is quite good. You go to this establishment for the care with which the owner prepares delicious meals (I love the Ma restaurant!) and the kindness of the owner (who carries your heavy suitcase up to the second floor because there's no elevator)... otherwise, it's true that the hotel is undergoing renovations, so the shower cubicles are cramped, the taps a bit stiff, and the decor basic, but the bedding is good and the view of the Dordogne is rather lovely! In the morning, the noise of cars on the cobblestones is noisy, so bring earplugs or be an early riser! Enjoy your stay!

08/12/2024: I lived in the Mordreuc hold for quite a few years and I knew several owners of this little gem of a restaurant, some of them disappointed me a lot and I left a very unfavorable review but the restaurant was taken over about 3 years ago and the new owners have changed everything! The decor is more cozy and tasteful with a lounge area in front of a closed fireplace which gives the impression of being at home. The cuisine is not to be outdone with very appetizing offerings at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We will come back for sure because the restaurant "La cale de Mordreuc" is really worth the detour with its magnificent view of the Rance!

30/11/2024: Excellent moment en famille. Accueil convivial, plats excellents. Menu enfant servi rapidement et la patronne nous a même proposé de l’occupation à table pour notre petite fille de 2 ans. Superbe vue au bord de la Rance, nous recommandons ce restaurant !

30/10/2025: A wonderful discovery at lunchtime today. The €28 set menu included a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. Everything was homemade and beautifully presented, with a wide selection, including a dozen exquisite desserts.

15/09/2024: Très bon accueil, tant à la réservation par téléphone qu’à notre arrivée sur place. Jolie décoration à mi-chemin entre le moderne et le classique. Service au top et excellent repas (nous nous sommes régalés). Belles présentations des assiettes. Nous étions placés près de la fenêtre ce qui nous a permis d’avoir une jolie vue sur la Loire (un peu décalée en contre-bas). Plusieurs possibilités pour garer sa voiture sur place. Petite terrasse pour les jours de beau temps, mais certainement bruyante car le restaurant se trouve juste à l’une des extrémités du pont qui permet de traverser la Loire, d’où un passage de voitures assez soutenu ! Par contre à l’intérieur on n’entend pas du tout le bruit des voitures. Ce restaurant nous avait été conseillé par la chambre d’hôtes où nous logions (le Château de Colliers) et nous en sommes ravis car nous y avons passé un agréable déjeuner en tête à tête à l’occasion de nos 45 ans de mariage. Réservation conseillée, ce restaurant est réputé dans le secteur.
