29/03/2026: A lovely moment in a beautifully decorated restaurant, a delicious dish and excellent service

28/03/2026: We came for lunch at this little restaurant and frankly, we'll be back; the staff is very friendly. We had mussels with Maroilles cheese, and they were delicious; we recommend it 100%!

20/04/2026: Very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. I ordered a bruschetta and was met with a mountain of ham. It didn't resemble a bruschetta at all. An indefinable bread with a layer of tasteless stracciatella, the ham and lamb's lettuce piled on top, a small amount of truffle-infused olive oil—the overall presentation was unappetizing. I didn't finish my meal. I've had bruschetta before, but not like this; it was bruschetta in name only. The French toast with caramel was swimming in what was probably a tube of industrial caramel. Perhaps they should take a break for their pizzas, but otherwise, avoid this place.

23/05/2026: A very friendly and professional team. From the welcome to the service, the dishes served, and especially the value for money and the ambiance, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant. There were three of us, and we all agreed. I won't soon forget the zucchini medley as a starter, which was excellent: a harmony of flavors, perfectly balanced seasoning, a play on textures, and not forgetting the presentation—I loved it. Well done to the whole team! One last thing: the establishment is incredibly clean, both inside and out. I really appreciated the decor. As for the wine cellar, there's something for everyone. See you very soon!

03/05/2026: From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were bothering them. The waitress didn't have time to make a cocktail, so she brought us a bottle labeled in Italian as an aperitif. Four courses to choose from… prawn skewers with mashed potatoes, no rice… a small amount of vegetables. So we left without dessert, which we'll have at home since we'd already received the bill. Personally, I won't be going there again with my family. How sad.

19/04/2026: Take your time for a break by the sea. Pleasant setting! Lovely terrace! The owner is friendly and accommodating, but the service staff are inexperienced and disorganized... the food is minimal. Ideal for a light snack. Enjoy the view, it's vacation time!

08/03/2026: The "trust" menu was absolutely superb, featuring local produce with a multitude of flavors, expertly prepared by the chef. Impeccable service. A truly enjoyable experience.

09/06/2026: A rare moment of cuisine, hospitality, and delicious natural wines. On the menu: an INCREDIBLE celery carpaccio with leek oil (what a devilish combination!), a harmonious blend of textures and flavors with toasted buckwheat groats and lemon zest. This was followed by the delight of chicken karaage (a marvel of marinade, then frying). Unreasonably, this was followed by a beef tataki, perfectly seasoned and playing with textures thanks to the roasted peanut and the delicately oiled Parmesan shaving. The meal concluded simply beautifully with homemade ice cream, left to develop the perfect texture and temperature. Excuse my strong language, but I was helped by the delicious natural wines (a white Ardèche wine—I've forgotten the grape variety!), an exceptional Chardonnay (I've forgotten the producer!), and an Aligoté.

13/05/2026: Cool guy spot with some natural wine and delicious cheese! Walk in right as they open for a drink or call in advance to make a reservation for dinner. Popular spot!

19/05/2026: The review I gave this place 3 years ago and the one I give tonight: If I could give this beautiful place 1,000 stars, I would!! Everything was above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend Le Vieux Crapaud if you are wanting authentic French cuisine. Thank you so kindly for your hospitality! Merci 🫶🏽
