26/04/2026: A terrible experience. Staff rude, jaded by tourism. Forced to eat the children or we had to leave! 50 euros for a fried egg! Monstrous as well, taste nowhere to be found. Tourist trap!

25/04/2026: We were there as a family and loved staying at L'Ermitage. The family room overlooked the bay on one side and the abbey on the other. It was very quiet, the room was well soundproofed, and the bedding was comfortable. The location is excellent, and it's so pleasant to enjoy Mont Saint-Michel in the evening and morning when there are very few people. Breakfast was also very good (at the Auberge de la Mère Poulard).

20/04/2026: Everything was perfect for this birthday meal, from the aperitif to the dessert. The wines and champagne were much appreciated, and the food was delicious. Special mention to the two servers for their responsiveness, particularly regarding our guest with a cheese allergy, which I had forgotten to mention. Thank you. We will be back.

22/04/2026: This was the perfect place for a leisurely lunch before visiting the Louvre. It was easy to make a reservation, and when we ended up being more delayed than we anticipated, we were able to call the restaurant and adjust our reservation by half an hour. The atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable, light, polished, and relaxing. Three staff members waited on us during our visit. All of them spoke perfect English, and they were kind, friendly, and helpful. We especially appreciated one server helping us figure out whether we had enough time to order the chocolate soufflé before our timed ticket to the museum nearby. The service was wonderful throughout the meal. And the food was delicious. We enjoyed the asparagus appetizer (vegetarian), the gnocchi entree (vegetarian), trout entree (pescatarian), and chocolate soufflé (vegetarian), as well as some espressos with dessert. The presentation of every dish was beautiful, and we left feeling full but not overstuffed, and we enjoyed every bite. The experience was so positive that we considered returning for a crème brûlée later in the day! Highly recommend dining here.

Even though my father was disappointed to have trout and no meat (it was the only dish available), we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. He even told me it was excellent. Living in Revel-Tourdan, I would definitely go back. And at €18 for a complete meal, it's a great deal. If you serve frogs' legs, let me know! 😊

We ordered free-range chicken and duck breast, and both the side dishes and the accompanying sauces were excellent. The servers were very friendly and helpful. 18/04/2026: An exceptional spot in the heart of the mountains! Refuge Le Petit Tétras offers absolutely magnificent views of the surrounding peaks, in an authentic and peaceful setting. A true haven of tranquility where you can enjoy both the panorama and the warm atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent, prepared exclusively with fresh, local, and carefully selected products. The sourcing is remarkable, with a genuine commitment to showcasing local producers. Special mention also goes to the superb wine list, curated with taste and coherence. A must-visit destination in both summer and winter, where everything comes together: setting, authenticity, quality products, and impeccable service. I highly recommend it!
