01/05/2026: Today, May 1st, 2026, is asparagus day at the restaurant, and I'm in a little slice of paradise, maybe even true paradise... a small, royal table all to myself... served immediately... The asparagus, like everything else at Restaurant à l'Aigle, is perfect; it's pure quality.
What can you say? The Aigle's superior quality comes from experience... over several generations... from Colbert-style management... from a top-notch leadership team and waiters and waitresses of immense efficiency, professionalism, and kindness... In short, when you're at Restaurant à l'Aigle, you're at the pinnacle of quality. I even propose creating a fourth Michelin star for this exceptional restaurant... I mean it... This unique restaurant offers a very warm atmosphere where we had a wonderful time. The owners are always smiling and incredibly kind. The menu is short but varied, ensuring there's something for everyone. As for the dishes, they are simply delicious... A true delight! We highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: The restaurant was very clean. The presentation of the dishes, especially the starter, was excellent. However, the meat was too tough. We mentioned this, they took note immediately, apologized profusely, and offered us coffee. We will return.

26/05/2026: I placed a takeaway order at 1:15 pm and had to wait until 1:50 pm, in the blazing sun, to pick it up. The food is good quality, but the wait today was truly excessive. I probably would have been served much faster by simply queuing inside.
It's a shame, because I brought four friends to introduce them to the restaurant. Unfortunately, this experience has made them less inclined to return.

08/06/2026: Some restaurants don't need to try too hard to charm. At Tell Un Ange, there's no unnecessary theatrics: an intimate dining room, a warm welcome, and above all, honest, straightforward cuisine.
The ingredients are fresh, the menu changes with the seasons, and this is evident in every bite. Special mention goes to the focaccia, pissaladière-style, as indulgent as it is elegant, and to the superb piece of beef accompanied by a perfectly balanced foie gras and porcini mushroom sauce, rich in flavor but never heavy. The ratatouille had that home-cooked aroma that instantly evokes childhood memories.
Finally, the dark chocolate fondant was a unanimous hit at the table, while the Gariguette strawberry sabayon was wonderfully fresh.
Add to that impeccable, attentive service full of thoughtful touches, and you have one of the best surprises in Nice right now. A remarkable value for money and an address to discover before it becomes Nice's worst-kept secret.
08/06/2026: There are some restaurants that don't try to impress. No flashy decor, no showy displays, no calculated storytelling. Just a human-scale dining room, a warm atmosphere, and cuisine that speaks from the heart. Tell Un Ange belongs to this increasingly rare category: restaurants where you return for what's on your plate.
Two visits a few weeks apart were enough to confirm this impression. Here, the ingredients are fresh, the menus evolve with the seasons, and each dish seems to tell a sincere story, without artifice.
From the very first bite, a focaccia reimagined as a pissaladière sets the tone. A marvel of balance between indulgence and finesse, where Mediterranean generosity meets perfectly executed technique.
The beef, topped with a foie gras and porcini mushroom sauce, could have easily become a show of force. But it doesn't. The sauce, rich and flavorful, maintains a remarkable lightness that complements the meat without ever overpowering it. The side dishes are not relegated to the background: a special mention goes to the perfectly balanced ratatouille, which instantly evokes the familiar flavors of Sunday meals and grandmother's recipes.
As for dessert, the family consensus was immediate. The dark chocolate fondant won over both my children and my mother, bringing three generations together in shared enjoyment. For my part, I was captivated by a delicate Gariguette strawberry sabayon, where the freshness of the fruit met the richness of the cream in perfect harmony.
But the experience doesn't end with the food. The service also deserves praise. Professional, attentive, and precise without ever being intrusive, it is punctuated by those little touches that make all the difference and remind us that hospitality is an art in itself.
In an era where bills often skyrocket faster than the quality of the food, Tell Un Ange offers simply remarkable value for money. A genuine, generous, and deeply charming place.
Absolutely not to be missed.

28/05/2026: Had a wonderful meal here wish we had come earlier on our stay in Arles .
Wonderful food and presentation and nice small plates. We chose a main dish and desert, easily could have had an appetizer but not knowing the size of the portions opted for less food. Must call out our wonderful waitress/sommelier who is friendly, knowledgeable and a great smile.
Well worth a visit inside is romantic and cool but outside on the patio surrounded by by plants is also lovely.

The atmosphere is very nice and the staff welcoming, but the price is simply outrageous.
16/03/2026: A very nice restaurant, but I was disappointed with the food.
The selection was very limited, with many dishes and desserts containing nuts. So, for those allergic to hazelnuts, almonds, etc., eating at this restaurant is a punishment, as you can only order one starter. Mine was halloumi, which had no taste; the cheese was rubbery and clashed horribly with its "puree."
For the main course, I ordered beef.
€30 for a slice of beef fillet with spinach and a side of potato—very bland and not at all a generous portion.
And for dessert—nothing.
Because everything is made with allergens, so thanks for the alternatives and limited choice of dishes.
The wine, however, was very good.
I certainly won't be going back.
Paying so much only to leave feeling unsatisfied is truly frustrating.
But unfortunately, many restaurants operate this way. For the same price, or even less, go to breweries in the surrounding area!

We ordered cannelloni and stuffed cabbage: it was an explosion of flavors with every bite 😍 I recommend it a thousand times over if you're looking for quality dishes with comforting, homemade cuisine.
