27/09/2024: We loved it! Very good dishes, all the staff very friendly and pleasant, and a quiet terrace, on a pedestrian street with trees... and as a bonus, the Seine and Notre Dame just behind the trees. We feel the desire to satisfy the guests. Not to be missed!

Set in picturesque Kaysersberg, this two-starred temple promised a decadent journey through Alsace and beyond. What it delivered, however, was more polished performance than emotional punch. Let’s start with the venue:Undeniably beautiful. The space is a sophisticated blend of organic warmth and contemporary restraint — wooden elements from the surrounding Vosges forests set against minimalist furnishings that whisper discretion and taste. The setting evokes quiet luxury without overstating itself. Then came the service — clinically perfect, timed to the second, and choreographed with the precision of a Swiss watch commercial. But warm? No. Charming? Not quite. It felt more like being guided through a culinary museum than being welcomed to someone’s (very expensive) table. And for €500 per person, I would have appreciated a sparkle in the sommelier’s eye and perhaps a story or two about the cheese. Now, a small but glaring detail: water stains on the wine glasses. In any restaurant this would be a slip; at this level, it's a sin. At €1,000 per couple, I expect my stemware to glisten like the crystal dreams of a Reims heiress. As for the food — solid. Sometimes delightful. But rarely transcendent. The hors d’oeuvre were the undeniable stars: a clever, charming ode to Alsace with escargots, flammkueche, and miniature miracles of regional flair. If the rest of the menu had followed suit, I’d be raving. The eel? Silky and nuanced. The asparagus and fish? Both executed with poise. And the venison tartar was, frankly, divine — robust yet refined, the kind of dish that makes you forget you’re halfway through a 12-course marathon. But then the cracks began to show. The chicken dish arrived and tasted like something you'd find in a respectable countryside inn — not a culinary destination with global ambitions. And the strawberry dessert? Pleasant but uninspired, the sort of finale that says, “You've had enough magic — now here’s some fruit.” FINAL VERDICT:La Table d'Olivier Nasti is a well-oiled machine of regional grace and gastronomic technique. But soul? Surprise? Joy? They were missing. A beautiful evening, yes — but not a memorable one. And certainly not one that justifies €1,000 for two. Would I return? Perhaps. But not on my dime. And not with romantic illusions of Michelin fireworks. 🐻🍷🍓💸

03/09/2024: Basically, coming for 2 days, we were so well received that we extended our stay by an additional day..... Remarkable place, 2 star hotel but which by these services could easily aim for the 3rd... ... Over these 3 days we also ate a variety of platters and gourmet dishes (a pure culinary experience)......... A attentive staff, a boss who reflects the image of his establishment...... ... We are thinking of coming back next year with family..... Recommended for travelers looking for local, regional products and authenticity.......

30/05/2025: The positive reviews made me hesitate for a long time. But having been to many restaurants, I must say that this is perhaps the biggest disappointment I have experienced. It must be said that this restaurant is an institution, whose high prices inevitably lead to implacable judgment. Impeccable, welcoming service, pleasant dining room and atmosphere. The plate is beautifully presented, except that the monkfish is much overcooked, the dish lacks flavor, the pink lamb is rather raw and cold, the bread, according to the waiter, is frozen! It is hard to believe that this restaurant once had a Michelin star.

15/08/2024: The place is very beautiful and very old, it is an old Cistercian abbey "barn" intended for agricultural and defensive production (the tower). The owner knows how to tell his story very well. It was a group meal so always a little complicated but excellent. It was my 2nd time for such a meal. I recommend!

13/06/2025: A great spot for lunch in the city center with a few outdoor tables. A menu and simple, well-prepared cuisine offer excellent value for money. We love the stuffed clams as a small appetizer.

09/06/2025: 12 hot clams, au gratin as a starter, then 280g rib-eye steak, very good, plenty of blue cheese sauce, homemade fries (undercooked, comment made and recorded, hence a point off for the food). Pleasant and courteous service, I recommend this establishment.

21/10/2025: Beautiful setting and fast service 👌. But a big disappointment: the Lorraine plate cost €18 for 4 people without the terrine (forgotten, brought after asking the server). Only 3 slices of cheese instead of 4 and tasteless 🧀. Expensive for the quality and quantity. Too bad! Beautiful location!

24/09/2024: J’avais réservé pour l’anniversaire de mon épouse. L’accueil était à la hauteur : petit bouquet sur la table avec message d’anniversaire, et flûte de champagne et bougie d’artifice en fin de repas apportées par l’équipe de serveuses et le patron. Repas très bien : cappuccino de langoustine, homard grillé et dessert maison très bien présenté. Nous avons passé un excellent moment

09/09/2024: sur les conseils d'un ami avec photo a l'appuie , on a voulu tester a notre tour ce restaurant sur la cote avec une vue magnifique ,le gros problème , c'est que tout a l'air délicieux et je suis quelqu'un de difficile , mais pour une fois , j'avais envie de tout gouter mais j'étais venu pour gouter le fameux capuccino de langoustine spécialité du chef qui est tout simplement une très bonne et délicieuse découverte un chaud froid avec une émulsion que je vous conseille vivement de découvrir et la marmite du pêcheur pour être vraiment dans l'ambiance marine . l'accueil était vraiment chaleureux et j'ai grandement apprécié tout le mal que s'est donné tout le personnel et le chef de cuisine a préparer en surprise et a la hâte quelque chose pour l'anniversaire de ma compagne , c'était très touchant . une très bonne adresse a retenir si vous êtes de passage (ou non ) , je ne suis pas prêt d'oublier cette agréable journée avec tant de surprise ,et d'en parler autour de moi merci !

I've been going there for years, the service is always impeccable, the people who work there are all very nice, the dishes are tasty... I've been away from Alsace for a few years now, but when I come back to see my family ,I never leave without having gone to eat at the Eagle ^^

03/09/2024: We went back 3 times in 15 days, the value for money is great. We have had their Corsican dishes every time and never disappointed. Bonifacian-style eggplants for €16.80. Delicious 🤤 Grilled figatelle for the same price, always perfect 👌 Even the pancetta pasta is very good. As an aperitif, special mention to their clementine kir, a real treat ☺️. The young people serving are adorable. In short, a real favorite for this pretty restaurant.💖

01/09/2024: Cercavamo un posto dove assaggiare piatti locali senza affrontare una spesa eccessiva e l'abbiamo trovato!!! Il locale è molto particolare, un pergolato caratteristico con una bellissima atmosfera di vacanza. Abbiamo diviso l'antipasto corso con affettati, formaggi, melanzana, terrine, ecc A seguire io e mio marito abbiamo preso entrambi il maialino alla birra con patate e castagne e mio figlio il cinghiale con la polenta. Un tiramisù corso ottimo e un mezzo litro del loro vino rosso sfuso. Il tutto per 87 euro. Pensavo si fossero sbagliati! I piatti sono tutti molto sostanziosi e ben cucinati. Molto consigliato.
